Twisted plot idea.

Imoen never becomes a powerful bhaalspawn. It is never fully explained...

However what if... Imoen is the result of a union between a bhaalspawn and a human. It would explain why she does not gain powers as quickly.

Then it hits me.

The Shiny Lady is Imoen''s mum.

And. If you have to end her life in a suitably nasty way... Well that explains the sad face in BG2.

...

That also allows for the possibility for Whirlwind Winthrop, warrior of renown, to be her actual father...

...

Although I also think Boo is a bhaalspawn. Minsc knows something...

EDIT: I can't even spell Minsc 's name correctly...

    I assume the short sword in that picture is for boo. There is no way Minsc would ever use it. :)

    What short sword? All l can see is a dagger, obviously used to scrape the Evil out of all those hard-to-reach crevices.

    Wasn't Imoen one quarter-Annis Hag/three quarter-Trollop? I mean, her hair colour gives her right away! Caelar Argent on the other hand looks like a half-Lantern Archon/half-Flashlight to me. Given her solar powered eyesight. Or at least I hope those are solar powered... surely wouldn't want to mess with someone that got a nuclear reactor in their skull (!)

    I'd say there's a stronger resemblance between Sarevok and the Shining Lady than with Immy.

    Maybe she is, and maybe CHARNAME goes BACK in TIME and Imoen is the result of these carnal adventures! And maybe THAT is why Imoen has weaker Bhaal spawn powers, she's not an actual Bhaal spawn but the spawn of a Bhaal spawn!

    So she isn't Charname's sister, but in fact his daughter? And Bhaal's grand-daughter? Probably works only for male human Charnames, I guess.

    The Shining Lady is actually wearing a prototype Spectroscope. The turnip trade is mighty lucrative in Dragonspear country.
