Familiars in BG:EE?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I realized the familiars has been nerfed since I last used one. So far I realized the Fairy Dragon lost the invisibility x1/day, and I "only" get 6 HP. What are the abilities and stats of the familiars now? Do they improve?

    The familiars were nerfed for BGEE, but they scale in power in Shadows of Amn and in ToB.

    Check the stats and the comparison between the nerfed and the unnerfed versions here by @Anduin https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/16951/a-familiar-problem.

    Is there still the weird bug when you import to BG2 EE where you keep your 6 hp and then gain a further 12 on summoning a familiar?

    As the situation is now, yes, this bug is there :)

    Do you know how the scaling works in ToB? Does the familiar automatically improve and grant 12 more hp? I haven't managed to take a mage that far yet.
