I haven't posted anything here in a while for a few reasons: -right after my Seattle trip I got sick and was laid out for a few days -then I wanted the newsletter/blog post to go out before I said anything (in journalism parlance, I didn't want to scoop myself) -then on the way to work this morning I got rear-ended. I am ok but my back bumper is totalled (it did its job mightily and well) and I had to run around and get damage estimates and file a police report and reassure a very scared and upset 19-year-old even though I'm the one who got hit and has a sore neck!
Home now and the car thing is mostly settled (and my doctor says my eyes and bones and things are acting properly) so I'll make a small post here.
In the blog today we (finally!) announced where we are with SoD, namely that we're content complete and ready for the final round of dedicated bug testing. Thus I will say when I was in Seattle I demo'd the game for Ben Petrisor and a few other WotC employees. They were very impressed with the demo and how smoothly it played even without our final QA pass. There was one crash so it wasn't a totally perfect demo but Ben et al were enthusiastic about our work.
Yay! for bard hats! Nay! for rear endings and general unwellness. Good to hear you still sounding positive after all that, and much goodness to look forward to in the new year
