I have 2 questions that I need help with:
1) How do you manually control a woodland being summoned by a priest? Even though I turned Party AI off, she is still going hysterical on me (literally hysterical cos she was like shrieking and amazon-battlecrying) and going against my commands, disrupting the spell-casting command I gave her midway to do her own stuff, etc. Is she supposed to be this b*itchy? I'm running SCS btw.
2) The next issue that I have I'm not too such if it's a bug because I remember facing the same problem back in BG1:EE SCS. Basically, when I'm fighting a thief who drinks an invisibility potion, I tend to exit the area I know he is in and go somewhere obscure to hide in shadows (im a F/T). But when I went back to the exact same area (and I know he is still around because I can't save my game), I tried detecting illusion/invisible enemies and no matter how long I do it for, I can't break his invisibility. Although I know when I change to detect illusion, I will slowly come out of shadows, but there's a transition time and I always use that time to eliminate mages' mirrorimage or improved invisibility and it always works but not for this case I don't know why. I also try drinking an invisibility potion myself and click detect illusions around the area I know that invisible bastard is hiding but I just can't find him. My detect illusion skill is 60. I don't think the problem lies in my low skill points in detect illusion as I have no problem destroying illusions and revealing invisible mages. Please advise! Thank you

2. It may be possible that the enemy thief has run away and is not close enough for you to detect him.
The Detect Illusiton thieving ability works only against spells from the illusion school - https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/309914/#Comment_309914
Enemies that are hiding in shadows are NOT detected by this skill. But those who have drunk a potion of invisibilty SHOULD be detected.
More about it here - https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/31983/solo-character-without-true-sight-or-invisibility-purge-how-to-handle-potion-of-invisibility
If they're not detected, then it's a bug. I can add that I too saw how this skill doesn't detect those who used a potion of invisibilty, but I believe to what @CamDawg said.
I will try your suggestion regarding the nymph. I agree she's a pretty clever lad but I need her to work as a team man and not go all crazy out on me ;D
It seems that perhaps in my case the thief might be hiding in shadows, but I'm still sceptical about it. Will keep a lookout in future.
@bengoshi So just to clarify what I've read from the posts so far, Detect Illusion NOW does work on illusions from items but only doesn't work on thieves who hide in shadows?
That way your detect illusions may dispel the invisibility potion but still not reveal them hiding in shadows.
I have no idea if this happens but just a thought. I know as a player you can drink a potion then HiS should you wish to.
