My small mind has been blown. I've approached the Gnoll Stronghold from the north and... my party is on the north side on the map, instead on the east side before the bridge!
I don't recall pros and cons for specialist mages looking like this. Were they buffed? Too bad that many players will just skip some cons:
@O_Bruce It seems they were always like this (the mages that is), since their original inclusion in BG II. It just was never stated in their description!
Huh, just noticed: It should probably say "Evocation" school, not "Invocation" since Invoker is only the name of the class. Does anyone want to report it? Since I can only do so by tomorrow, earliest...

Not a bug per se, as this is how it was called before - Invocation, inluding IWDEE:
But in the same time, when reading description of a spell, the school is called Evocation, not Invocation:
I have started in on a simple UI mod. Here are my first tweaks that make the dialog box wider and the journal popup wider and taller. I have a widescreen monitor, might as well use the space.
The dual-wield is not displaying both weapons in hand on the character though. Is that a bug?
The screenshots show that you can equip a throwing weapon while you have a weapon in the off-hand slot (i.e. without having to juggle inventory slots). The new functionality doesn't allow you to dual-wield throwing weapons.

It is not displayed because all the Abel's screenshots show missile weapons equipped, and when a missile weapon is equpped only one weapon is used, not two. If , for example, Shar-Teel on the second screenshot, took the Dagger of venom, the avatar would switch to dualwielding 2 daggers.

No Throwing Daggers to buy?! And you call that a FRIENDLY Arm Inn?
Just after I edited Dorn Proficiencies from Sling to Dagger (I realised Throwing Daggers are strictly better since base damage and range is about the same but gives an additional attack)!

edit: typo_tilly sure is a fast skunk...
That might explain why despite 85% chance of scribbing a scroll people were complaining on it being little too low.

I've reported a feature request.
AFAIK, that's how the magic schools names worked in AD&D. They changed them with D&D 3.0.
Not only multiple slots for quicksaves, auto-saves on beginning of chapters but also it states which character you played as. Win, win and win.
I WANT MORE !!!!!!! HEAR MY WRATH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that will do! FMT on the way!
An Ogre Mage?! How unexpected! But he's been slain by a well aimed dagger strike. Well done ST!
Dual-wield (Throwing) Axe Proficiency
Dual-wield (Throwing) Dagger Proficiency
Featuring Dagger of Venom in main Hand; Mastery in Dagger (+++)
2-handed with Sling Proficiency and Shield
It's a new Dorn! Always with Strength damage bonus!

Ninja-d twice
Thanks for the clarification, brave warrior @Dee!
I've reported it as a feature - http://redmine.beamdog.com/issues/21485
