    The mod has been updated - this is not a thing anymore. None of the six options involve potions.

    with his proposed solution this mod would become unnecessary so it shouldn't be installed in the first place (therefore - no interfering)

    Hey, I've noticed that multi fighter/thief doesn't get "Use Magic Device" and dual gets it but it doesn't work. Is this intentional?

    Honestly not sure. I think UMD is indeed not in the multi F/T HLA table... it not working for duals is not intended

    I am getting problems with Mirrored clone HLA with scs installed. It does not work, nothing happens when you click the ability.

    Aegis ability don't work as well, i guess this is not fully compatible with scs.

    The component "Treat mages' and priests' High-Level Abilities as innate abilities rather than memorisable spells" of SCS works with other HLAs from this mod, except for Mirrored Clones.

    It is now working after setting MC's minimum level to 1 from 18 using NI.

    Install order: SRv4 - Refinements - SCSforSR

    It worked for level 18 characters. thing is you could select it as an hla for M/T as soon as you can get hlas. But u wont be able to cast it until u get 6M xp.

    With that component installed, mage hlas for m/t are cast using the cast spell button, instead of innates. Thief hlas such as special traps use the innates.

    Weird thing is for othe characters like anomen and edwin HLA are on the innates.

    I think rune of immunity is broken. Here is what the spell looks like in the DLTC editor

    Edit: I am a ding dong and had BG1 effects loaded. I just loaded bg2 effects. However it does not protect from breach. I am not sure how to add the 100% magic immunity to the spell.

    Edit 2: So after looking at other spells, Aegis in particular, Rune of Immunity has none of the magic immunity applied to it. I am going to try and add stuff to it. I will report back later :D .

    Edit 3: After some thought. Is this spell just supposed to give immunity to all spells that would effect the target, or just from dispelling effects?

    Edit 4: I found the answer. So the spell that Rune of Immunity refs. for the immunities needs to have the required level set from 20 to 1.

    I used to install Refinement with FnP MnG SoB and my most recent installation encounter a problem that Paladin, Druid, Monk, Wizard and Bard HLAs components cannot be installed. And I don't know what is the problem.

    A look at the tpa files tells me that the necromancer is still missing his Boneguard HLA. I had to manually patch it by copying the line over from the original refinements.

    The wizard's HLA tpa file is missing an entry under the Necromancer's HLAs. To be specific, it's missing this:

    LAF action_add_hla STR_VAR kit_name = ~NECROMANCER~ ability = ~GA_TG#BONE~ num_allowed = ~1~ END

    You can double check by opening the wizard HLA file from the original Refinements mod and comparing it with yours.

    Fighter/Mage/Thief got "Critical Strike" instead of "Power Attack" .Tested on BG2 and BG2EE with only Refinements v4 rc21 installed.

    since the HLAs are more balanced in refinements, how about giving HLAs to a couple dozen enemies to use?

    Trying to install on linux with weidu 2.43 :
    when asking to intall the 1st component, all the updated hlas for all classes, I get :

    While I am at it, I tested "swashimoen" wihtout restarting a new game, it works well except she arrives with 2 identify spells memorized but only magic missile in her spellbook, so it's impossible to remove the identify spells from her memorized spells list. Making her to learn identify fixes the issue so it's no big deal anyway.

    edit : actually there might be some problems with swashimoen, I didn't notice that at first because as a class you see "mage/thief" and thief level 10 so I assumed it was swashbuckler without writing it because of the dual class, but when you get her back at spellhold her thief class is inactive and you need to level her up. After leveling her up, the thief part is written as active except she doesn't get her thief stats back ! Nothing about lock picking, detect traps etc... !
    It took me a very long time to notice, I did the whole 1st level of spellhold before finding a lock to pick and finally noticing something is wrong. It might be because I didn't start a new game, but it seems unlikely since it's supposed to be a new character definition when you meet her in spellhold...
    Oh well I'll edit her with eekeeper to set some reasonable values for the thief skills then, I don't know what they are supposed to be in swashbuckler mode, I'll take the ones from the basic thief definition, except backstabbing of course...

    edit 2 : yeah bad kit, I had to start a new game to find the right kit number and put it in eekeeper, after that she got back the right thief stats...

    i think i found a bug with bounty hunters poison trap HLA. the trap get set off immediately after PC sets it (no enemies are present) and poisons PC. i have no other mods installed, and the version is beta 2.5 bg2ee.

    Hello subtledoctor,

    I had an bwp installation several months ago using the bws, the version of Refinements was beta 4.16, along with some self-made kits with totally reworked and specific HLA table and skills. I found the new skills in Refinements are also appended to the HLA tables of those kits which absolutly didn't mean to. So I had several hours wasted to check and remove the Refinements new HLA skills.

    That's really not cool at all. I think it would be much better the Refinements only patch those vanilla kits, and leave the mod kits along.
