Fighter/Cleric/Thief?

Is there anyway to make this a Class by myself? I know you can make Kits through Near Infinity and tweak certain things, but is it at all possible to make F/C/T, or is there a Mod anywhere that puts F/C/T into the game?

    Nope. You can, however, make a partial conversion from a Fighter/Mage/Thief to a Fighter/Cleric/Thief. You would need to do some or all of the following:
    1. Convert all cleric spells to mage spells and assign them to your FCT
    2. Copy the cleric's level and spell progression onto the mage's in the game's .2da files.
    3. Let your character cast spells while using armor (by tweaking the armor, for example, or granting them immunity to the opcode that disables spellcasting)
    4. Chance the FMT's HLA tables to include cleric HLAs instead of mage HLAs.
    5. Pay off the Cowled Wizards so they won't recognize your "cleric" spells as mage spells.
    6. Avoid using items that clerics can't use, like swords and the Robe of Vecna, until you get Use Any Item.

    I was really hoping that I wouldn't have to resort to that, messing with Mage 2da files can get a little tricky, especially since I'd be replacing spells with, essentially and as mentioned, a hard coded book with strict interactions.
    Thanks for the post by the way, confirms a suspicion and is appreciated!

    I was also thinking that, since we are able to create Kits for existing Classes in CHARNAMEs creation screen, I would be able to create, say, a Fighter Kit, but it reforms to Fighter/Cleric/Thief in the game. Another idea I had would be to create a Fighter/Thief and then try to fiddle with EEKeeper/NI and force a really weird way to Dual a multi-class into a Cleric, but that's obviously a decent idea in concept, yet a terrible concept to create.

    I am still assuming it's possible to create a Triple Class as a Sub-Kit or make an entirely new Kit that functions as a F/C/T, but levels as a Single-Class kit - The latter using the toolbar for Cleric/Thief; Or, creating a seperate Cleric/Thief that gets all the Fighter bonuses.
  • Hmm, you could possibly create a Thief kit to put on a Cleric/Thief modeled on the "Ranger/Mage" @subtledoctor made. THAC0 bonuses at appropriate levels, Fighter APR, and specialization with bonus APR. You'd also want to add an XP penalty of some sort to simulate being triple class even though you are only double class.

    If you use a Cleric/Thief, though, you'll need to compensate for an XP penalty by tweaking its HP, and you would need to tweak the HLA tables to make sure it still gets its HLAs at 3 million XP.

    It's all simple in concept, but making it function and work properly is a new conversation altogether.

    I appreciate all the help, though! Thank you~

    The centered text is an eyesore!

    Either way, there is no playable race that can triple class and be C/T legally anyway.

    @Dazzu

    A Pox on you and your pointless comment.

    The true eyesore is the irony within your own.

    @subtledoctor

    Mainly because that's a Dual Class/Double-Multi-Class.

    If it's dualed, I don't get HLA.

    It's a Double-Multi-Class, I'll just keep getting Swash's constant Kit bonuses, which imo is far too strong, especially on a Double-Multi-Class EXP share. Triple class balances everything out and makes it fun to play.

    Then cease interjecting your inappropriate opinion on how I go about using the features of the text box and you won't hear anything equally as stupid in retort.

    Keep it on-topic to this Thread or don't post at all, thank you.

    I do not take kindly to pointless critiques and nor do I take kindly to people calling me "dude".

    Think of it what you will, but I hold no ill-will towards @subtledoctor.

    I may be blunt, but I am not so uptight that I would go further than to intentionally disrespect him past a misinterpreted joke, as he is a valued member and I have my own idea of respect for the Man, which I do not take lightly.

    Yes, I can see how you're not uptight :)

    None of this has any real cause besides trying to be snide, so I would gladly suggest we return to the original Topic, or stop attempting to revive a finished Thread with some poor attempt at adding some petty man's form of insult to injury.

    Unless you happen to dislike masculine pronouns...

    I understand that to most, it is not thought of, and I know it's meant as a meaningless 'endearing' term, I just dislike how masculine it sounds in passing. That's all.
