OK @Niederath I can't see anything obviously wrong in that file on a graphics front. Your sound drivers appear to be a few years old, pre-dating Windows 10. Driver Version: 6.00.0001.6873 date 29.03.2013
My dxdiag looks to have the same file and I have Driver Version: 6.00.0001.7544 date 24/06/2015
but your best bet is to use device manager (Windows + X, then click device manager) Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers Right click the Realtek High Definition Audio Click Update driver software Search automatically for updated drivers. See if an updated driver is found. Thanks
Right. I don't want to sound like I'm struggling here but could you try the two OpenAL items at the link below (despite the on-launch title), or confirm from your apps list that OpenAL is installed.
@evilcook, would you happen to have a save game prior to entering the Slums?
Could you also try disabling Sprite Outlines and Show Health Bars from the Graphics menu? (then restart the game and, if possible, reload a save prior to entering the Slums)
@evilcook we've been looking at this in more detail and your crash was with v2.0.62.2. Steam should be at v2.1.63.2 so you either need to update, or run the correct exe if you have created backup versions. Thanks
@evilcook it appears that you are running an out of date or modified version of Steam. You will need to upgrade both Steam and BGII:EE before we can help you further.
Everyone else in this thread:
You MUST be running the latest version of Steam (if applicable) and BGII:EE (2.1.63.2)
If you are seeing the problem after updating, please zip up a crash dump and post it here
dump.1.3.2064.0000.dmp from 17.04.2016 23:09 dump.1.3.2064.0001.dmp from 17.04.2016 23:10 dump.1.3.2064.0002.dmp from 17.04.2016 23:10
I find it odd that it says "from 17.04.2016" because I have tried and crashed many times since then. I'm also using GoG version 2.1.63.2 from 19.04.2016. Shouldn't there be newer dump files? Thanks for the help!
Are you certain you checked the correct folder. Version 1.3.2064 would use the Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition folder for crash dumps, v2 uses the infinity engine folder. Thanks

here's the file you requested.
Thanks for the effort!

From what I can see there is a suitable version at
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsview.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
but your best bet is to use device manager (Windows + X, then click device manager)
Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers
Right click the Realtek High Definition Audio
Click Update driver software
Search automatically for updated drivers.
See if an updated driver is found.

The right ones look like this:
