Now THAT explains the lack of love. I never really made the connection...not a big wrestling fan. And now I'm going to be thinking about it every time I look at him...

Just as I said, I couldn't get the Steve Austin image out of my mind, so I had to come up with an alternative. It may be another famous face (and entirely appropriate for a barbarian), but at least I'm not imagining this one body slamming kobolds. He would also likely work well for a dwarf character.
I've been following the conversation about the lack of portraits for non-white PCs, so I thought I'd try one out. I gave him the same armor that one version of Steve had, but cleaned it all up a bit to be a bit smoother. For some reason something about it seems wrong--perhaps the armor appearing too flat.
If anyone else here is looking for another "challenge," perhaps you could try your hand at one or both of these Vanessa Hudgens' pics?
"Evil" Vanessa:
Here's my attempt, though she doesn't look terribly evil in my version. Of course, the light background doesn't help either. (EDIT: I put a better version in my folder on the Dropbox account TiaxRulesAll made. It doesn't have the glow effect on the bottom edges.)
Awesome versions here! Any chance you could do a evil blackguard type of this portrait?
Unfortunately, my trial edition of Photoshop expired. I still have the separate parts (hood, face, armor) saved as separate files and can share them with anybody who would like to use them.
Actually, I had worked on a quick Blackguard version awhile ago, but it's just a simple recoloring and was based on the goatied portrait which is why it is flipped. There is no background, and the "seams" of the portrait parts haven't been blended, but perhaps someone would like to use it.
I put one together using an Arab model and a bit of a desert background. (Yes, she's beautiful, if that argument is still going.) She could pass as someone from Calimshan.
Getting the blending and layers right on this one was tough, but I think it turned out alright. The only thing I don't like is that the hand still doesn't quite match the tone of the rest.
I see an (Isandir) folder with his pics in it. remember you have to sync the folder up. You possibly have the syncing paused or perhaps you didnt wait long enough for the folders to sync. new ones will be the very last ones to load.
Here's another one I tried last night. The model's photo that I used made it quite easy; she was in the perfect pose and had the right expression. The background also ended up blending it rather nicely. As for the armor...I love the fact that all of Skyrim's armor sets are posted online!
Hi all! Happy New Year! @TiaxRulesAll I was looking for an male elf portrait in your original BG style, who could be evil (not a drow one), possible a moon elf or wild elf, and a thief or rogue style. I thought about young Josh Holloway, but found this noname guy here: Dunno, looks like an elf for me. And not so girlish like Legolas.
Can you do such a request, please? I know, it's a tricky one. First of all - he needs elven ears, not huge ones. And maybe little more gray colored hair and a little bit darker skin. Like an elven girl you made before In the same style:
I been much more busy lately. Thats why I haven't been posting as many pics. That request seems doable but sounds like some work too. Like all the others, I'm not promising anything but ill take a look at it if I get some time.
I never really liked the options in the vanilla game if you wanted to play as a dwarf. You wouldn't think that the "L'Oreal" Beard is Beautiful (spoof) picture would come in handy...
A second dwarf, though he could also be a human. The face is actor Tom Hardy, who became quite famous as Bane in the latest Batman film. He looks drastically different with the beard.

I still think Bane's mask makes him look like Sarevok... and he sounds sorta like Sean Connery.
The portraits are great btw. Particularily like the first one.
Thanks! I'm finding that I enjoy making these as much as I do playing the game. I think it's the fact that it feels like making a new character every time.
As for Bane...I actually still haven't seen the movie. I managed to catch most of the blockbusters this year and miss that one.

I know when I used that portrait, my character was a bad ass.
I put both of the "Calishites" and the others I've made so far in TiaxRulesAll's Dropbox account.

In the same style: (She's awesome!!!)
Or keep him blond, light skinned?
A dark leather armor (could be black) it's on your choice, I thought about Valygar's. And not a bright background, but not too dark either.
What do you think?
