Grimgar,
Rhodus,
Draco,
Bask.
These the notes I have on him.
Alexander Guy - – POV Character
Physical
- Dark, long hair
- Dark eyes
- Muscular but not huge
- Dark (olive) skinned
- Clean Shaven
- Young (17-19)
- Warrior
- Ambidextrous
Sociological
- Humble
- Lowborn
- Uneducated
- Teaches himself to read and do math
- Lonely/Loner
- Dead Father – killed in the war is the driving force for him to rise up
- Teaches himself all forms of weaponry and combat simply from watching others and mimicking.
- David & Goliath thing- catalyst that turns him into a protagonist
- Compassionate
- Bold
- Has a token of his father (sword, some sort of weapon)
- No mother?***
Psychological
- Smart, highly intelligent
- Jaded at the onset of the story “pole to pole”
- Recently killed father causes his anger and hatred of Pretoria – maybe he finds out later that his anger is unwarranted and that he was either mislead or lied to?***
- Finds out early on that his father is dead, this sets off his change from jaded to compassionate
- Intimidated by women (shy)- direct contrast to his other traits
It's fantasy medieval.

You want the last syllable to finish abruptly.You want F, T, K, L, D, W, H, hard vowels, Z(ed).
Think Tony Stark.
Since there is no time line, you can be creative as you want.
Karim Lewd
Tyfus Kade
Sarol Jern
You just have to play with sounds until you find something that is unique and you like.
Another option is names like old soldier names; Jaeger, Strong, Shield, etc.. very common names in scandinavia, but alot later than medieval times though (~16-17:th century). Can be doublenames as well, like Stronghand, Ironshield etc etc. Very common in RPG's, so might not be what you're looking for at all.
A third option is to look at old kings and leaders, like Alexander, and be inspired. Both roman, germanic, gaulic and scandi leaders could be a source for inspiration.
Good luck.
