A guide to SCS and mods

Hi, I usually play iOS version of BG:EE, BG2:EE but now I also got the PC version. I'd like to try to run an SCS run, which are the most intereresting/useful mods to use?
Can be applied also to SoD version of the game?
Where do I find them?

Personally, I highly recommend a core setup of:

SCS
Item Revisions
Spell Revisions

This will tweak the game to be much more of a tactical combat challenge, with increased difficulty and reduced potential for cheese/OP items.

I believe all of those mods also work for BG1; SCS does, for sure, with IR and SR you might need to check.

You can find all of those mods at The Gibberlings Three, one of the main sites for Infinity Engine mods. It also has many other mods on there, each with its own dedicated forum.

It's important to find a setup that YOU like personally. You should absolutely get inspired by suggestions, but there are so many options around that it's really all up to you and what you want out of your game. If you play the game mainly for its combat, like I do, then the above setup should work well. If you prefer to emphasize things like RP more, you may want to look into other mods. Etc.

It has plenty of components that don't change difficulty but rather give options, like no race restrictions for classes and kits, unlimited stacking and new icons for items.
