If I order pizza it's only to be able to take it away sooner, I've got 2 pizza bakers both within 5 minutes walk from my home, so I'd rather get out to buy the pizza than to have them delivered and pay for the delivery as well as the pizza itself.

I am usually that amazing customer that is waiting by the door with payment ready as soon as they pull up into the driveway.

Mostly because I was hungry when I ordered the pizza and the 20-30 minute wait didn't help.

Well, when they arrive is however long it takes for my oven to get up to 480 and for the pizza to sit in there for 15 minutes. So I guess just stare at my oven?

Edit: Then again I suppose when it arrives I'd be grabbing the oven mitts, putting a cutting board on the counter and then putting the hot tray on it. So there is that too.

My true answer would have to be that there is nothing better than a “from scratch” pizza with a lovely thick crust and personalized toppings. So… I would tell him that he must have the wrong address.

Well, I answered this question honestly. Every time it is an incredibly stressful situation for me to run around and find my wallet before the Pizza God abandons my doorbell under the assumption that I have lost my faith. My lack of preparation occasionally has caused me to chase down the Pizza God to his pizza mobile, begging him to turn around and delivereth to me the most sacred of meals.

My Italian grandmother taught my Jamaican wife how to make pizza from scratch. I haven't ordered a pre-fab pizza in decades. BTW, jerk-pork pepperoni pizza is the best.
