What a spectacular game! It was great back in the day and hasn't lost a bit of its charm.
Now going to import my F/M/T into BGII, which I have never beat. Back in the day, I got bored with it somewhere in the first quarter of the game. I really like the early 'character development' levels and BGII just doesn't have much of that. I'll just need to adjust my thinking, I guess.
Anyone have any Q's while the game is fresh in my mind?

I was running on core difficulty for one. I should have had it on hard, at least. I'm also very much a min/max player, so I was overly prepared, with the best equip, and a top notch evil party.
An invisibility 10' radius started Sarevok's demise. I then sneaked up to him to get the end dialogue and sent them a nice double fireball present from two wands just out of visible range. This got the attention of the mage (were there two?), who promptly gated over to the rest of my party, which were all invisible, so he just stood there. I surrounded him with F/M/T, Dorn, Kagain, and Viconia and beat him down in short order. He did manage to get off a Greater Malison before he died but since no one else was attacking I just waited for it to expire.
Next my F/M/T went in for a delicious 40+ point backstab on Sarevok. After which I hightailed it back to my party (with Sarevok in tow, swinging on me the whole time). He got in a few good hits but I was able to get Kagain to aggro him and the rest was history. We got the finishing blow in just before he killed Kagain.
This is sort of what happened with Aec'Letec. I beat him on the first try without anyone in the party dying. I've learned to never underestimate a hit point cow. They give you the most important commodity in RPG's - time. There's something to be said for someone who can 'lose an arm' and still say, "I need an ale."
I think Garrick was almost to level 5 when the mage third of my FMT finally got level two! But whenever I looked at effectiveness instead of levels (% and # of kills) he was always at the top so I just kept on going.
I did grind some ankhegs at the very beginning to get him to level 2/2/2 so enemies would stop one-hitting him as much.
Can be said for the Infinity Games and stuff like Morrowind.
They only get better with age as dedicated modders improve upon perfection.
Morrowind Reminds me a lot of Baldurs Gate mod scene.
Where the whole BG1NPC and Morrowinds LGNPC add tremendous depth to the existing game.
I remember when Morrowind came out. It blew my mind to think of how they fit so much content on one CD. Morrowind was also my first venture into game modding.
I actually just started to do a little BG1 modding. It's proving to be...difficult.
10 or more - good ability
9 or less - evil ability
