    How about using invisibility to prevent most of the demon attacks? Stoneskin scrolls might then allow you to build up a new HP stock from potions of power.

    True that would allow rebuff, as they start to scatter after using Invisibility potion. And only Erinyes would hit kiting the field, but only with 20's which doesn't really matter. Besides random, there's 16 guaranteed Power Potions in BG+SoD. So with two patches of 8 should do the trick with almost 300hp most of the time.

    Another nR Paladin run, and because I've ever done Cavalier (like 20 times, and still missing the nR glory :( ), I wanted to try Blackguard out. It has nice immunities too, gets Detonators and Dispel arrows, doesn't have to worry about falling in Hell Trials getting 25 STR, and can wear Soul Reaver +4 naturally. We are going to tackle full Durlag's Tower for the Helmet of Opposite Alignment, to wear Twinkle and Ring of Purity. Not that we need them against Belhifet, but it's a long time since I've been in the lowest levels. We can also get the 12th Champion's Strength scroll from there, which allows two patches of six against Bel, getting our Thac0 to -24 and hitting the bastard every, single, time.

    Chapter 1. Prologue 250xp. Killed Imoen, Xzar and Montaron for two Speed potions, and Neera for Gem Bag. Marl 900xp. Killed Algernon for his Cloak. Picked first Invis potion from Beregost Manor. We Charmed Jemby, who is so beautiful that she stops Drizzt fighting the Gnolls all together if he sees her.

    Chapter 2. Noober 400xp, picked second Invis potion from Nashkel manor, and bought rep to 10 because Jezebel wants nice dreams. Vitiare ranged with 421 arrows 125xp, which was pretty pointless timesink. Revenant Cave 3rd Invis 900xp, lv2. Albert 1000xp. Tenya's Bowl 2000xp, lv3. Lured Dushai away with a bow and killed for Freeaction ring. Bought rep again to 11. Invisibility to Mulahey and Charmed with one rest, and Kobbo's did the rest.

    Chapter 3. Charmed Minsc killed Nimbul 650xp. Charmed Marl KO'd Tranzig 975xp. Raiken escorted us to Bandit Camp, where we Charmed Taurgosz and he got killed by Hobgoblin Elite and Wild Dog. Got Full Plate. Joseph's Ring 800xp. Bought rep to 13 and did the rep run. Mulahey's Symbol 14 1000xp lv4. Oublek 15, Drienne 16 200xp, Firebead 17 300xp, Samuel 18 500xp, Joia's Ring (Charm) 19 300xp and Brage 20 1000xp. With Stone Giant potion from Brage we could open the Chest with Fire Giant potion in Carnival, and open the chest with our 4th Invis potion, and also Invul and Heroism. Lamalha Waylay used Invis potion, and free Charm worked. Some kiting but picked up Power Potion. Charmed Gnarl and Jezebel took out Hairtooth 175xp. Gnarl got killed by a Xvart for Hill Giant potion. Picked up CHA-tome just running, and we now had 20/20 economy and 21k gold. Bought Sandthief Ring and Greenstone Amulet for 13k. Molkar waylay escaped by running. We wanted Hakt's Bow so I was prepared to waste Sandthief charges 1500 gold a pop. Luckily we managed with just first try. He was quickly killed attacking Britik. Absorption, Speed, Greenstone. But just when I started running to the chest I forgot that I still had the Freeaction ring on. I quickly popped another Speed and looted the Chests and got Sandthief on. In the end we got poisoned but didn't lose that much health. First mistake in the run.

    Chapter 4. One Sandthief to pass Cloakwood 2 right click looting the body and Scimitar. Upon reaching the Mines, we turned back to CK 1 and then CK 2. This way the whole CK takes just one Sandthief and we returned the body for Tiber 800xp. Well, it was still the same as I need one Santdthief to enter the mines anyway, hmmm. Got Scimitar +2 which will serve until we manage to get Twinkle on. 2x Sandthiefs to Davaeorn Guard. Charmed the guard with second attempt and spent one Invis potion because my sleep was disrupted. Used our last Sandthief charge to park the Battle Horrors away, so we now had only one potion if something went wrong. It didn't and the Guard killed Davaeorn 6000xp, lv5. Escaped the place with Speed potion 2000xp.

    Chapter 5. 28k gold so we recharged Sandthief and Greenstone for 19k. Nadine Amulet 1500xp and OGL. Tremain's Son 5000xp. Ragefast depleted with 5 Greenstone charges and level skipping 4000xp. Ramazith Charmed, depleted and killed by his own Skeli 4000xp. Cured Ghorak 1000xp, lv6. Bought two green PfP scrolls and 15 Stone to Flesh and did the Basilisk xp-loop. It took 3 Charm attemps, so using Sandthief ring it cost 4500 gold. Next time we should first use the Mirrored Eyes, lv8. Also Stoned Kirian's party and Mutamin. We had three half full OGL's and those were enough for Denak's mage party, got Ring of Energy. Picked up CON-tome with couple Sandthief charges. Lothander Charmed and wasted from Poison Weapons, then talked to and stopped leaving and killed for the Speed Boots. Couple Charmed Gamesman KO'd Marek. Took 40 minutes but I had to take time off, so why not delegate stuff to others. Quenash got killed by a Ghoul for her Cloak. Seven Suns Dobbelgangers easily dispatched with Poison Weapon and Aura of Despair without other resources. Fire Giant potion is enough to open the Chest with PfU, and also the Chest in Iron Throne basement with Storm Giant potion. Slayed the Ogre Mage with the Arrow using one Sandthief charge and Greenstone Amulet. Used Mirrored Eyes and our last Sandthief charge to pickup Scimitar +2 from Durlag's Tower, because I needed to recharge it anyway. At 600 gold + 20 Acid arrows it wasn't worth it. Sandthief to Iron Throne and free Charm on Naaman worked. But interestingly Kaalos and Shennara were nowhere to be seen in 35.12 SCS. Naaman cast Invis on me and then got killed by Thaldorn for PfU. So we only used a Sandthief in Iron Throne.

    Chapter 6. Ogre Mage waylay passed with Invis potion. Iron Throne leaders Charmed and killed one by one. This time we didn't get any Invis potions. Looted the place with 1xPfF, 2xInsulation, Cloud Giant, Shield Amulet, Speed, DuHM, Greenstone and 3xSandthief and left.

    We are now ready to start descending Durlag's Tower.

    Chapter 7. Charmed Riggolo killed Ghost and then got killed by Ghast's. Looted upstairs all I could. Managed to build the Sword in Labyrinth 1 before our Sandthief charges were out. Couple back and forths selling our loot we had 25k gold and recharged it again. Two Sandthiefs was enough to loot the rest of the level. We managed to lure Avarice, and Fear level above, and started kiting Love with Ring of Energy, Freeaction ring and Greenstone amulet. And after 33 hits Love was killed. Picked up Durlag's Goblet from Labyrinth 2. Torture room - Teleport to South and picked up the exit Ward Stone. Teleporting stopped repeating trap. Picked up Kiel's Helmet and ran out as I was being homed on by multiple enemies. We sold our loot including Kiel's Helm because Blackguards can also use Durlag's Goblet naturally.

    Wanted to prepare more so we went and Charmed Girdle Ogre who got killed by GIbberlings. Charmed Zal who was killed by Vex for Archer Gloves. Charmed Caldo who battled Crumm to death and we finished Krumm off. Tarnesh killed with the help of Greenstone Amulet. Sandthief to rescue Eltan. Charmed Larze killed Slythe. Recharged OGL, Ring of Energy etc. But it still was not enough, and we still had 4 Sandthief charges left. Looted Gullykin Defense, Stone Form, and PfP. Not enough. Managed to Charm Meilum with one Sandthief and three rests. Meilum killed Kahrk and then got killed by Kobbo's. This netted cool 8k, and with it we could buy the last potions and recharge Sandthief. One Sandthief to Labyrinth 1 and we picked Chaotic Commands and PfE 15' scrolls before exiting the level.

    Labyrinth 3. Fireball trap is nice way of healing with Icingdeath and couple rings. Passed the Wyvern room and Mask corridor Invisible and picked up Bala's Axe from the Maze. In the Ice test we casually ranged Kaldran with couple PfC potions and Freeaction ring. Couple Ice Wolves followed outside, but they were easily lost. PfP and Absorbtion for the Earth test and burned the Fission Slime with 22 Fireballs. Greater Ghouls lured to the Earth room so I didn't need to use Sandthief to pass them. The Air Aspect was lured to the repeating Fire Trap to be killed. Some of the Wolves followed there and got burned too. I kited the Phoenix Guard with Acid arrows easily to death once, but then I mistakenly clicked to the exit, and when I returned it immediatelly teleported us to the chess board. Weird, but that was just fine with us. Pause and insta Invis potion, yet they still managed to alert on us. There wasn't really a way of fighting the King in such close quarters so we just passed them Invisible.

    Labyrinth 4. We used our on Invisibility to go to the Spider room and talked to the Golem. Then we ran to the Forge, protections still on picked up the loot and the Wardstone and left the Helmet Horrors closing the door. Token room and clicked on the Machine, then looted the Rune room protections still on. The repeating trap did close to 100 dmg, but we healed after that. Then clicked the bed in the Rune room and answered the Golem again. Entering to Acid pool area we first looted the 5th OGL and then put our 4th Sandthief on. Scouted ahead refreshing protection again for Lightning traps. For Grael Cloud, Heroism, Speed, Greenstone and attacked. But it wasn't long before Jezebel was diseased and Thac0 started going very bad. Plan B was trying to Charm him, and I kited him a while trying to do so, but after like 10th hit I concluded that he was immune to it. Time for plan C, which was a kite with Ring of Energy. Keeped refreshing Greenstone and eventually Grael fell with 18th strike. The last Greater Ghoul took just one additional hit. Looking it back Grael is actually immune to Charm, which wasn't the case in past I don't think.

    Looted the Wardstone used 5th Sandthief. Used DuhM on top of Cloud Giant to open the Chests in Store and Throne rooms. And then spoke to the Golem the final time. For Demon Knight we used PfM (long time since I've actually used one since it was changed to caster only), 2x Mind Focus, Protection from Fire, Heroism and Speed then quickly ran to the Mirror and opened it. Because we had PfM on only Demon Knights counterpart spawned. I bombed him with Acid arrows, but it was mostly his clone that killed him, which was slightly anticlimactic. In the end it took only 5 Sandthiefs and 1 Invis potion to handle the Labyrinths which wasn't that bad. We decided to spend one Sandthief to get a hit on the King, but he evaded Charm and I wasn't feeling another closed quarter Ring of Energy kite, so we let Islanne teleport us out.

    Besides the Helm of Opposite Alignment and 5th OGL, this was very lucrative endeavour and probably earned us close to 50k gold. Only missed the 12th Champion Strength scroll, well something to improve some day. Anyway we equipped Twinkle +3 off hand and priest then removed the cursed Helm. In Palace ambush we Charmed the Mage and Shaman Dobbelgangers. 2x Mind Focus, Defense, Cloud, Speed and Power. Started the fight and first hit the Doppelgangers with Dispel Arrows to slow them, which took 7 arrows, then DuHM and wiped them out. It still took some time and Belt got injured, so we used couple Cure Light Wounds on him. Shaman was done after two Dispel Arrows and few rounds of hacking. The Mage, Greenstone and started shooting Dispel Arrows, Speed, Power, and then I got the Dispelling strike. Mage got protections on again, but we again Dispelled it quickly. And it wasn't long until the Mage died too.

    Used our last Sandthief to travel to Undercity. Killing Tamoko took 5 Goblets because she managed to conjure 3 Skelis. Used one Invis potion to return to the city. Tamoko's stuff and Magma Bulwark nets cool 13,5k which paid another Sandthief. Sunin was depleted with Speed and Greenstone, level skipping his spells. Managed to separate Delorna and she got the same treatment, didn't bother with the rest. We got our 5th OGL and after recharging and buying everything we left for Sarevok. Said hello to him and used Invisibility. Had to burn another Sandthief to get them clumped together because Angelo wasn't getting hit. Diarmid died after 44 Fireballs and Sarevok was then burned too, and I still have 23 OGL charges left for Korlasz.

    Start of the SoD was the usual. Invisibility to Porios, double Invisibility and PfU to Korlasz, waited her Protection from Fire out and it took 6 Fireball + Invisibilities to make her surrender.

    Chapter 8. Teleria and Golem hacked casually, Menhir's, lv9 with Sanctuary. Listened Dwarves getting killed and made a pact with the lich. Hid behind the tent for the parlay.

    Chapter 9. Picked up the Paladin amulet from the Troll Cave with Sanctuary, which can be worn with the HoOA. But it's kind of useless at this point. Morentherene daggered, Ziatar burned and Akanna Charmed with second try and killed soon after. Fort surrendered and Bridge Mage interrupted with Ring of Energy.

    Chapter 10. Cool 160k selling my stuff to Nazramu. Also bought Ring of Purity and we used HoOA again to equip it. Mundane quests. Hidden Cellar, used PfU and burned the Undead. Mirrored Eyes, Cloud, DuHM and got Amulet of Whispers. Charmed the Orog Chieftain for Protector of Unworthy. Mundane quests in Dragonspear Castle. Sliced some Myconids for the Myconid sack and convinced Ferrusk giving the Ankheg Amulet. Said hello to Hephernaan and left with winds of speed.

    Buffed for the Troll Wave, Undead, Stone Ally, Myconids, and started burning them with 4apr Detonators. It went quickly and we used only 16 arrows and two Goblets. Mage Wave, Wizard Slayers (avoiding Stycichs stupidity Dispel), Stone Ally, Myconids, Clasp of Helm and 15 Detonators. Auziel, Stone Ally and Myconids for the Cavaliers. Rhayla somehow managed to Dispel us even getting burned 4 times in a round. :s We quickly put PfM on and continued explosions, most of them dying in few hits. Two of them had Sanctuary on so we buffed little. In the end it took 30 Detonators and five Goblets. Rebuffed and Final Wave went much faster with 18 Detonators and two Goblets. Ashatiel easily killed and Trix was tricked opening the doors without fighting.

    Blackguard v Belhifet. 3xPfF, PfC, PfE, PfA, Violet, 8x Mind Focus, PfP, Fortitude, Defense, Speed, Invulnerability, Power and started the lift. Took 10 rounds to get to the final wave. Left the Green Abishai for even more power. 30 Heroism, Defense, Speed, Invul, 6 Champions Strenghts, Storm and Power. Switched Cloverleaf to Protector of Unworthy and Cloak of Balduran to Crommus Capelet. Escaped the Dispel and started hacking with -24 (with Chant) Thac0 and -25 AC (with eventual Blur). And it went bloody fast, first patch of Champion's Strength wasn't even out when both Bel & Hep were dead. So probably around 20 rounds. Paladins remain the bane of Belhifet.

    Jezebel woke up in Irenicus dungeon with 599640xp, so lv10 freeing Jaheira. I don't know how the spilt experience actually works, but we took it. And it was a breeze with two Sanctuaries. Only slight trouble with narrow corridor Duergar, but double Sanctuaries got them out of the way. Mephits lured in and doors closed. 4k gold selling our loot, and we bought our first Invis potion.

    Chapter 2. Started the Thieves quest line and looted Maevar's and temples. Suna Seni waylay passed with Invis potion. Graveyard quests and looted the place. Renfeld waylay passed with pre Sanctuary. Bought rep to 10, and just about afforded the Ring of Air Control. Which we used to summon Cowled Wizards in Goverment district. Not that we needed casting rights, but because it's easy money. Neutral Guards killed some of them, they escape at 3 hour mark and cast an Earth Elemental which guards can't hurt. Invis potion x2, Laeral Tear Necklase x4, Symbol Fear, Abi Dalsim, PfU, Mind Focus, so about 12k gold if sold.

    Rayic quest didn't go as planned, as we tried foolishly fight the Mephit's, and got boxed in. We burned almost 10 Extra, and almost all regular Healing potions before I noticed our Thac0 was being drained. Spent an Invis potion to recover. Could only kill one Fire Mephit, before I concluded it to be impossible at the moment. We got free and used another Invis potion to leave them to the streets. Anyway went in and repeated the Fireball trap to kill Rayic and escaped with Sanctuary. Pre Charmed Mae'var, and he only managed to kill the Priest, before assassins got him.

    Mundane stuff. Picked up Potion Case from WK, and Paladin Bracers, which we sold because we couldn't use them. Umar Hills Beljuril, Madulf, lv11. Wellyn's Bear. Bought rep to 15. Bridge Murders. Used one Invis potion to reach Neera's refuge and did the easy fetch quest for Amulet +2. Looted De'Arnise, Glaicus cured with the Cloak, built FoA+3 and got Elven Court Bow +3. Got the Wizard in Trademeet bug again, as all went red circle. One Militia got killed, the second Militia killed Wizard. Leaving the level, animals then killed the second Militia, leaving still couple peasants red circle. Looted Druid Grove for Archers Gloves, and Belm +2. Easily killed Reti for the Senses of Cat. Charmed Welther, and Bragg killed him for Silver Pantaloons, and then we released Lady Agea. Sir Sarles. Neb took 4 Extra potions, but wasn't that tough with our immunity to Level Drain. Improved Invisibility and Charmed Shanasha, and Prebek wasted spells on her. Killed all, lv12. Harper Hold.

    Escaped Mages double Charm with Spear of Unicorn in Copper Coronet. Bought Vhailor's Helm and Clone casually killed Beastmaster. PfP and repeated the Cloudkill trap to kill Captain Haegan and co. Killed the Trolls but didn't bother with the rest. Clone killed Paina who doesn't get help if not talked to, got Kitthix. Bought couple Magic protections from Roger the Fence and picked up Silver Horn, which we upgraded twice. Mekrath's Mephits easily dispatched by our gang. Baited Mekrath Contingencies, then Invis potion. Clone cast Warrior on him, then Kitthix and attacked. Pulled nice amount of summons which we waited out. Then I cast Kitthix on him, then Warrior. At this point Mekrath only got Acid arrow on me. Temple Sewers passed with Sanctuary, built the Bridge, lv13 and got a Skeli.

    Chapter 3. We paid for Thieves and did the couple easy quests for them. Got Amulet of Power, so I could change my Amulet +2 for Ring +2 and get slightly faster casting. Lassal passed Invisible, the Contacts easily killed by our gang. Picked up MoD with Sanctuary and Improved it. Bought few PfU's and back we went. Killing them took long time with our non profiency Mace, used Frost Giant and Speed potions. Bodhi just waited out. Mencar was Silenced and casually killed with Clone, got Full Plate. Charmed Rissling and Amon who followed downstairs, Amon cast couple Fire Elementals and they killed Rissling, lv14.

    Taquee was Charmed and he first cast Improved Haste on Jezebel, and then managed to Petrify himself, the other Djinni's were easily killed with 8 apr FoA, got Efreeti bottle. Windspear Paladins easily killed, as were the Assassins getting pre Invisibility and then summoning everybody in the top room. Guardians killed one by one and picked Peridan, got Heartseeker +3, the best Long Bow for now. Conster was depleted from Spells and killed. Casually picked WoW from the Mind Flayer base with PfU, Speed, Invul, Improved Invis and Sanctuary. Had to cast Warrior getting back because the way was blocked by an Umber Hulk. Sanctuary is nice here as it stops Mindies targeting, which Invisibility doesn't. Firkraag XP-loop, 4, 6, 8, 7, lv20 with max spells and Fallen Deva. Another changed thing, as Deva can now be taken more than one time.

    Deva soloed Kalah. Getting 20/20 economy we bought the 80 Dispelling arrows from Peter with 15k. With 3 Blood Raged Skelis, Clone and Deva the Trolls were no problem at all in WK1. Cleaned the level, but left the Statues be, lv21 with 0 base Thac0 and Smite. Planar Sphere. Blood Raged Skelis and Deva with Aura of Despair are damn impressive gang. Mages easily Ego Whipped Deva though. Lavok was depleted and then my Clone got him on the ground. Tanari was killed during Farsight without talking. Clone tried smiting the Mage, but it went bad as Tolgerias aggroed too and destroyed Clone and Deva. Sent in Kitthix, Warrior and Efreeti and they all managed to pull spells. Then Blood Raged Skeli, then another. My last Skeli didn't get any spells so I sent in my Deva and it finished both mages, lv22. Casually hunted City liches with PfU and MoD. Speed and PfU for Kangaxx, and we baited his spells out. Once we got hit on his Skeli it started wandering so we could kill it and Kangaxx stopped casting spells. When he got to Demi we Stoned him with WoW. With Ring of Gaxx we already got saves into negatives all around.

    Temple Ruins was destroyed with three MoD+2's, PfU for the Liches. Shadow Dragon stoned, lv23. Heretic Monks easily killed, lv24 with top of the line Skelis. Easy quests in Temple for the Gem of True Seeing. Four Statues dealt with one attack. The eight Statues were first separated, and then killed the non mage ones with 3 rests. The Mage statues depleted, and then my Deva soloed both, lv25.

    WK2 was solid smacking, nothing our gang couldn't handle. Chromatic Demon stoned after 15 or so hits from WoW, lv26. Used rest of the WoW for another XP-loop. Planar Prison landing was leveled with Fire Elementals which are nice here as they don't really get hit and can be cast from Invisibility. Only the Yuanti-mage managed to confuse them a bit, but that was just slight hinderance. 3 Skelis, Clone and 2 Deva's handled the next two Mage parties one go. Farsight, destroyed the Orb and sent 5 Fire Elementals in for an absolute chaos. Waited their protections out, then sent Fire Elemental in, and only Warden could hit it, and he eventually got killed, lv28. We killed Firkraag the last time with WoW, but no Carsomyr for us.

    Chapter 4. Deva soloed Perth the Adept. Clone turned the page on Book on Infinite Spells until we got Spell Turning, lv29. Irenicus Dungeon solid smacking, very easy with our gang, lv30. Irenicus attacked from Farsight with Fire Elementals, depleted to 1 hp, and he escaped immediately. Another bug in Brynnlaw as all went red circle. Hid the Githyanki waylay. City of Caverns again solid smacking. Selling our stuff to Shaguain merchant we now had cool 235k gold, lv31.

    Chapter 5. Balor got Stoned first hit from WoW. Turned into Drow Ravager after speaking to Adalon and escaped the magic damage with Magic Shielding. Freeing Phaere we got the repeating reward, because of Shaulofein Maze, lv34.

    Kuo-toa had no chance against Drow Ravager, clone summoned Fire Elemental for Demon Knights and they were easily dispatched too. Got Soul Reaver +4 which we can wield. Double crossed the Drow and left. Mindflayers were the only ones needing some attention with stacking Genius Potions and getting saves to -4 (-3 already item based), Cloak of Mirroring stops Ballistic Attacks and Detonations. Got Staff of Command, 4x Control Circlets and Fire Control Ring. Beholder Dungeon punched through, got Greenstone and Spell Warding amulets. Adalon then turned us back to ourselves and we escaped the place. Used drop&move trick to smuggle Drow Full Plate +5 out of there. Drizzt attacked us, possibly being evil, but were no match once we retreated to corner and then summoned everyone. Kruin was casually hacked without talking to. Built Crom Fayer, Wave Blade and Silver Sword.

    Good stuff @histamiini - looks like another victory coming up :D. When transferring from BGEE to SoD and SoD to BG2EE the game only applies the relevant XP limit at the point you load a save. Thus you keep any extra XP gained in your final session - and if that's a long one then you can go way over the XP limit ...

    I have tried the “import XP trick” a few times, and had to keep a close watch on the HP calculation, since I could get the XP but all the HP re roller and did not give me max HP… But I am on the iOS version, so I just go the other way and get the HP I want and not the extra XP

    Did some testing with 1hp Cleric and it can beat Belhifet, but it will take a long time. With Martyr's Morningstar and Blazing Glory, hitting only 2 apr crits, the net gain is about 16hp on a turn with Bel's hp regeneration. So it would take like 14 in game hours. You can speed things with the 11 Champion's Strength scrolls, but it isn't that impressive. The game has an annoying bug where with 3 apr, it hits 2:1 with off-hand rather than main hand, and lv1 Cleric has a bad off-hand Thac0. Can't even use Power Potion because that running out will "kill" the 1hp Cleric. But the 1hp Cleric is quite easy to maintain, with correct loadout you only need to refresh Oil of Speed and Chaotic Commands, and there's a plenty of scrolls for it. But... I don't know if I want to try to suffer that. :D

    Another thing I noticed, Cleric's can now get the STR-tome without Violet Potion too. There's a new spell in SCS, Strength of Stone that gives 4 STR and it stacks with DuHM. So human Cleric would get to 24, Half-Orc 25 in BG1.

    I would never play without that option…. The game is unplayable without it imho. >:)

    Wanted some diversion so I auto-rolled Jin, a Dark Moon Monk again. Which I've already done in this challenge, but not in nR. I don't really expect to reach at the end, because the Rod of Resurrection nerf probably has hit the hardest against Monks who don't really have a lot of summons to help. Anyway Monks are quite possibly the coolest chars to play because they're so different.

    Intro 250xp. Chapter 1. Killed Imoen, Xzar, Montaron, and Neera for the Gem Bag. Marl 900xp. Killed Algernon for his Cloak. Noober 400xp, lv2. Bought rep to 10 for a good night sleep.

    Chapter 2. Hentold Dagger 900xp, Albert 1000xp, lv3. Charmed Jemby stopped Drizzt fighting Gnolls. Not that we needed it but it's good gold. Also got Fire Giant potion, which opened us the Carnival and Nashkel chests for Invis potions. Picked up Potion Case. Tenya's Bowl 2035xp. Used Fire Giant and 6 Healing potions to kill Dushai. Bought Shield Amulet, rep to 10, and headed for mines. No less than 13 tries to Charm Mulahey, Kobbos then killed him. Used another Invis potion to escape.

    Chapter 3. Joseph's Ring 800xp, lv4. Charmed Minsc killed Nimbul 650xp, Charmed Marl KO'd Transzig 975xp. Raiken escorted us to the Bandit Camp, where we charmed Taurgosz who got killed by a Black Bear. Bought rep to 14, rep run. Firebead (15) 300xp, Oublek (16), Mulahey (17) 1000xp, Drienne (18) 200xp, Samuel (19) 500xp and Brage (20) 1000xp. Used the Stone Giant to get the Invis potion from Beregost manor. Bought Sandthief Ring and Greenstone Amulet. Lamalha waylay happened, Sandthief and free Charm worked, got Power Potion. Absorption, Sandthief and Invis potion and picked the papers from Bandit Camp.

    Chapter 4. Molkar waylay happened. Sandthief and free Charm worked again, got Heroism Potion. I wanted full Sandthief on the mines, so we used the last 3 charges to pick up CHA and CON tomes. Charmed Hairtooth killed Gnarl, and he got killed by Xvarts. 10k gold after recharging Sandthief. 1 Sandthief for Cloakwood 2. After reaching CW3 losing Invis we turned back and gave Tiber the body 800xp. Two Sandthiefs to reach Davaeorn guard. 3 tries and one Sandthief to Charm him. One Sandthief to park the Battle Horrors. And the guard then killed Davaeorn 6000xp, lv5. Escaped the mines with Sandthief 2000xp.

    Chapter 5. Tremain's Son 5000xp, Nadine Amulet 1500xp. With three half full OGL's we burned Denak's Gang out of sight for Ring of Energy 2400xp, lv6. Ragefast level skipped with Greenstone Amulet 4000xp. Ramazith Charmed, wasted from Spells and killed 4000xp. Recharged Sandthief 3rd time. Charmed Girdle Ogre who got killed by Wolf. Tarnesh won the Blind contest, but was soon killed 120xp. Desreta and Vay'ya Charmed, Vay'ya wasted from spells and killed 2000xp. Desreta lured to the Basilisk and Stoned. Spent one Sandthief to Charm Meilum who killed Kahrk 3500xp. Kirinhale 4000xp. Charmed Riggolo killed Ghost 3750xp. Riggolo got killed by Ghasts, and we spent one Sandthief to leave them.

    Tried fighting Seven Suns with Cloud, Defense and Heroism, but after spending 7 Extra Healings killing two of them, I had to go plan B with Ring of Energy Kite 7100xp, lv7. Ghoul killed Charmed Quenash for her Cloak. Repeating Fireball trap is nice way of killing Ghasts in Durlag L1. Looted the level with 2x Insulation, Hill Giant, Icingdeath + Fire Ring, 3xSandthief. Activated three Warders 6000xp. Sold my stuff and activated the last Warder 4000xp. Managed to lure Avarice and Fear to level above, then kited Love with Ring of Energy and Greenstone Amulet. Monks immunity to Slow is nice here 3000xp. Looted next level for Durlag's Goblet, Kiel's Helmet, 2x Heroism, Champion Strength, Chaotic Commands and Protection from Evil 10', and escaped with Sandthief for good. Used last Sandthief to get to Iron Throne, Charmed Naaman (PfU) and he go killed by Shennara, Invis potion to escape. Lothander pre Charmed, spent from Poison Weapons and Blinded 1500xp. Stopped from leaving 4000xp, got Speed Boots. Two Charmed Gamesmen KO'd Marek and we demonstrated a killing punch 10650xp. Recharged Sandthief 4th time, still 22k gold.

    Chapter6. Ogre Mage waylay escaped with Invis potion. Charmed Iron Throne, Brunos killed all and we finished him with Ring of Energy. 2x Insulation, 1x Fire Resistance, Freeaction, Fire Giant, Shield Amulet, DuHM and 3x Sandthief and looted the Catacombs bare.

    Chapter 7. Two Sandthiefs to rescue Eltan 2500xp. Charmed Larze took Slythe out 5000xp. We still had one level to gain, so we used Fire Giant, Green PfP and DuHM to kill Durlag's Tower Basilisks 22400xp, lv8. Time for first real test for Monk. Charmed Mage, Shaman and Assassin Dobbelgangers. Defense, Cloud, DuHM, Detect Illusions and the three Greaters were pretty quickly killed. They concentrated on me and using 3 Goblets, pretty much others didn't get hurt, 8000xp. Assasin was tanked with 4 Goblets. Shaman was the easiest, 2 Goblets, and again it concentrated on me. Mage was the hardest as usual, took 6 Goblets, Cloud and Invul. Last Sandthief to reach Tamoko, who took 8 Goblets, even though we managed to distrupt her Skelis with Ring of Energy 5000xp. Picked her stuff, Magma Bulwark and used one Invis potion to return to BG. 5th Sandthief recharge. Sunin 2000xp and Delorna 1400xp level skipped with Greenstone amulet. Getting the 4th OGL I was pretty much set to leave.

    But there was still the Basilisk XP-loop which I left purposefully to last as I wanted to try the XP-transfer. I had 130k xp, so we bought 40 Stone to Flesh scrolls and Charmed the Lesser Basilisks, first killing Kilian's party for 3000xp. It went perfectly so that should be around 300k xp over for SoD. Sarevok gang was burned from out of sight leaving 7 Fireballs to Korlasz, and Sarevok himself only needed one hit from Ring of Energy to die.

    Korlasz tomb. The XP trick worked and we arrived with cool 439417xp, not quite enough to get lv10 with Porios surrender. PfU and double Sandthief to Korlasz, waited her scroll out, 7x Fireball Invisibility combos and she surrendered, and we are already at 500k xp lv10.

    Sadly Trolls got us in the Crusader attacks. :(

    Charmed M'Khiin, 3x PfF, PfC, PfE, PfA, 2x Mind Focus, PfP, 2x Absorption, Defense, PfE, Storm, 12x Heroism, M'Khiin started casting 6x pre Writhing Fogs, Invul, Clarity, Power, Blur, Stone Ally, DuHM and started the wave. Modron Heart is good in this wave as all except Ogre Mages are Chaotic, and with right gear enemies will hit only crits. But we couldn't stop the Ogre Mages Haste with OGL, nor with the 6x Fogs. Then I managed to stop their wandering to Andrus twice, but not the third time, and that was practically it. The Haste is fair AI, and if it's disrupted the Skeletal Mage will slow most of them making it much easier. But I think the random wandering practically ending the fight can be considered as a bug.

    Continuing Jezebel, the Blackguard.

    Chapter 6. Cernd soloed Faldorn with Invisibility potion and Staff of Fire, which put us 20 reputation again. But the red circle bug spread in Trademeet like plaque, and we had to Charm the Merchant to buy the Belt of Inertial Barrier. Enlisted Shadow Thieves and Paladins to battle Bodhi. Clone cast PfU on all and we cleaned upstairs. We hacked Bodhi once to near death, and then with Deva killed the help he summoned. After that we unloaded all HLA's on her and after getting near death twice she was killed.

    Chapter 7. Before leaving we picked up Rift Device and Roger the Fence gave his life smuggling it out. We also sold Drow Full Plate +5 to Garlena, as then it would be accessible in ToB. If I remember correctly it will get turned to dust in Abyss, or ToB first level. Looted Suldanesselar with Sanctuary. Summoned everyone for Nizi and attacked. He managed to kill all but Deva, until Jezebel managed to Stone him with WoW. Rillifane then cleansed the place. Jon was bated out of spells, and then couple Fire Elementals killed him because he couldn't touch them.

    In Abyss Trials we took Evil routes in Selfishness, Greed and Wrath. Blackguards are evil already so they don't fall. The Djinni was killed by Clone, Deva and Skelis from Farsight, and Wraith Sarevok didn't last four rounds. Got 25 STR, -4 AC and Blackrazor +3 as rewards.

    Jezebel v Slayer. We activated the battle being Invisible and with 5 Fire Elementals. As we backed off, we saw Elementals getting killed like in few rounds. Then Slayer Dimension Doored on us, bringing everyone with them with Teleport Without Error. I didn't plan to battle them, and we just casually kited them with WoW. And all of his help were dead after 39 charges. Funnily Glabrezus continued Teleporting even being statues. :D Started bating Slayer spells. Efreeti got Dark Planetar, Alacrity and Clone. Kitthix, Warrior, Ras and Slayer was out of weapon protections. Fire Elemental, another, another, and he was casting Melf's Acid Arrows already. But I still didn't see Time Stop, so Jezebel cast 5 Elementals and approached Slayer. As soon as we were in sight he started casting Time Stop, and Jezebel again backed out of sight. We approached him twice being Invisible, getting Power Word Blinded both times. He still had an Improved Haste Trigger which we waited out. Once he didn't cast any spells on us in sight, we summoned everybody. And he didn't last 4 rounds of double Critical Strikes.

    I was debating getting Immunity to +1 Weapons, instead of -2 AC, but eventually decided against it. There is some use for it in ToB, and I hope it wont come biting me back. Yaga Shura meeting could be interesting...

    Chapter 8. Illasera lured away from the others with Reflection Shield and being Invisible. First slowed with FoA GWW, and after Soul Reaver double GWW's she was hopeless. She managed only get Hardiness on at badly injured, and we got Clone out for double smacking. Once she went Invisible we cast Deva and Truth Seeing. And she was absolutely murdered. She didn't have slightest of chances after she was Soul Reavered to a weakling.

    First Pocket Plane challenge. Summon door trick, Aslyferund Chain with Normal Weapon Immunity, and we let Commoner meatshield surround us. We planned using Sling of Everard and Reflection Shield to casually snipe the Knights of the Order. But there was a small gap in the meatshield, so we meleed Knights one by one. Before killing the last Knight we killed Commoners, then the last Kinght which spawned the main enemies. Sent in Efreeti and waited Deva out. Warrior, Kitthix. Eltan and Linvail both found us after that, but Jezebel easily dispatched them. Then Ellesime homed on us, but she couldn't do anything.

    Landing on Saradush we cast Invisiblity, and our gang easily killed the enemies. Again we put Aslyrefund Chain on and let AI handle barracks, as no one there has +1 weapon. Mundane quests. Prison lv1 PfU and MoD. Fire Elementals cleared most of Prison lv2. Gromnir's basement Mage charmed with SoC and others easily killed. Gromir's gang was mostly handled by Charming them with SoC. After Gromnir, Ramazith and Karun were left we started sending in Fire Elementals to deplete Karun's spells. They were too tough for Fire Elementals, so we kited Gromnir and Ramazith and let Fire Elementals kill Karun. Then we summoned everybody and Gromnir didn't last two rounds.

    Watcher's Keep lv3. We passed Death Magic Balor room to Tahazzar, and being Evil we got an audience with him. Summoned all, stoned him with WoW and we escaped through DM Balor room back to the Start. Ka'rashur was going to be tougher as he would attack on sight. Passed Wild Magic Quasit room with Speed to Succubus room where we killed all. Rested and started buffing. 2x Mind Focus, 14x Heroism to 509hp, Speed, Spell Turning, AoF, Hardiness, Improved Haste, Aid and Sanctuary. Managed to back up before dialogue, so we summoned everybody. Clone Smited Ka'rashur and we started smacking with Critical Strikes. Ka'rashur lasted about 5 rounds and then we escaped through Mayhem room back again to the Start. WM Quasit -> WM Tiefling -> Demon Knights -> Demon Wraith -> Aesgareth. Gambled twice with him for the Spectral Brand +4 winning it in the second try. With 22 hits from WoW we managed to Stone all of his minions, and Aesgareth didn't last 2 rounds of 9apr double Criticals.

    Watcher's Keep lv4. Main room easily cleared by our gang. Saladrex stoned. With Clone we ganged on the Anti-Paladin to get Ir'revykal the Blackguard's "Carsomyr", and it was killed in half a round. I turned Invisible, and watched Clone smack all comers. Rested and came back to clean the place, although we didn't bother with the Demi Lich. INT to 50 and easily smacked the first three parties in the Mind Flayer dungeon under a hour. Rested and buffed again. Summoned all and attacked the Ulitharid with the Rod, and it was quickly killed. So was my Skelis and as my Clone and Deva were stunned we escaped, Ulitharids Teleporting right behind us. We smacked them, then the following Mind Flayers. In the mean time Deva impressingly killed the Umber Hulks. Picked the Red Oil with Speed, and didn't bother with the Vampiric Mind Flayers. Rock and Garock easily killed by our gang.

    Watcher's Keep lv5. Test of Stamina waited Invisible. Test of Bravery Green Dragon stoned. Spirit Warrior test North-East-Search-North-East-North-Painting-West-Archway never fails. Spirit Seal Azamantes easily smacked with PfU, got Serpent Shaft. In Heart Seal we started Charming Hive Mother with Control Circlet, but before we managed to attack Y'tossi somebody got Remove Magic on us. Jezebel smited Y'tossi away, and stoned it first hit from WoW. Picked up apr Gloves and left as there was nothing more for us there but death. Completing Watcher's Keep we got our final form.

    Buying Drow Full Plate +5 back from Garlena I was reminded that it actually turns into dust in all levels of ToB, so it's only usable on Chapter 5, 6 and 7.

    North Forest cleaned by our gang in search for Superior Healing potions, because of the RoR nerf they are more important. We found 25. In Marching Mountains exterior we found only 5. Interestingly you can kill Fire Giants with the repeating Fireball trap in Yaga-Shura Fortress, although it will take some time. Cleared out lv1 except of the Lich, and got 9 Superior potions. Lv2 also easily handled with our gang, 10apr double Critical Strikes chews a regular Fire Giant in less than a round. Brimstoned. Imix was Charmed with Control Circlet and his Burning Men eventually killed him, got the ever important Ravager and 9 Superior potions. Temple of Mir handled with PfU and 9apr MoD+2. First time I think I've ever seen Deva kill Planetar 1on1, because of Stun lock. Nyalee Smited after talking and double 10apr Criticals killed all pretty quickly.

    Jezebel v Yaga-Shura. We cast Farsight and beat the bridge script with Speed which avoided Yaga's army from spawning. Activated Yaga with a hit and he buggered off to get a Mage, Cleric, Thief and Fighter. When they came back we Charmed the Mage with SoC and he cast Planetar just in time before Yaga Lava Bombed her. Planetar Vorpalled the Cleric first hit, as Mage cast Alacrity, Time Stop, and summons. Then Planetar Vorpalled the Fighter, and the Thief. Planetar tried killing the Mage, which was slight mistake on my part, because she was dispelled, and then she got PfMW out. But luckily she didn't have any dangerous spells left. We kited around trying to Charm the Mage, but SoC wasn't working anymore, nor WoW so she probably had something on. So we just kited her multiple Stonekins and Mirror Images with a bow, and finally she was killed. Cloned, Improved Haste, AoF and Hardiness. We attacked with 6apr Critical Strikes from Soul Reaver's and Yaga was quickly rendered hopeless. And he was killed soon after with ever continuing 10apr double Criticals. Key tactics that make this fight much easier are beating the bridge script, getting Mage cast Planetar ally, and Soul Reaver for Yaga.

    Second Pocket Plane challenge. Summon door trick, and spent half of Staff of Fire to kill Tamoko. Next was my Clone, then Angelo. Semaj was depleted from spells with Fire Elementals, then we switched to Earth Elementals. Semaj got onto us, but we evaded his Time Stop, his Dimension Door, and eventually Earth Elementals got him.

    Got Regeneration as a reward. In this challenge, the evil Ascension rewards are just all around better and more useful.

    Chapter 9. Oasis cleared with one rest, no superior potions. Tried bringing Draconis to 1 hp with Farsight, but apparently he starts the dialogue now even not seeing us. His Incendiary Cloud almost killed his Stalkers, and he did kill them once I started depleting his spells with Fire Elementals. Once turned we waited his Haste out, then Cloned and he was quickly rendered hopeless with 14apr Criticals from Soul Reaver. He used his Heal card and we wasted all HLA's, but there was little he could do. Greater Werewyvern got from Soul Reaver too. Anadramatis hacked from Farsight with our gang, and she surrendered, and then was quickly killed for both rewards. Kuo-Toa dungeon passed Invisible. For Quadruble Dragon attack 2xPfA, PfF, Speed and 20 strikes from WoW and all were Petrified. Picked up Scroll of Reversal and Bronze Pantalettes with Sanctuary. Built Big Metal Unit, and with -4AC bonus from Hell we got to the AC cap of -20. FII'Yisetat alone took 29 hits from WoW, got 12h Improved Invisibility ring.

    Jezebel v Abazigal. Activated the fight which brought Tamah and the Ice Salamanders forth. Apparently Wave +4 doesn't slay Ice Salamanders anymore? This was slight surprise and we needed to drink 10 Superior potions even with 85 DR. After Salamanders were dead, we Soul Reavered Tamah, and after few 8apr Critical Strikes she went Ethereal and buggered off. We cast another Improved Haste and lured the four Drakes one by one to the slaughter. Rested in Pocket Plane. Tamah wasn't doing anything so we casually attacked her, from range because I didn't want to activate Aba. This took some time with over 2500hp. We sent 3 Skelis, Deva and Clone with Farsight, and they turned Aba to dragon form. They didn't manage to do a lot of damage because his initial PMfW's. But they did pull multiple Breaches and Imprisonment. We kited Aba's Improved Haste out. Soul Reavered him, and that was basically it. After Improved Haste was out we cast another. But apparently Aba was waiting this and he Blinded me, and we couldn't hit anymore. But soon we regained and Aba was dead, didn't even need healing. Soul Reaver is easily, with huge margins the best anti-boss weapon in the game. Even more so in LoB difficulty. If it's 1on1 it's basically over for the bosses.

    Slayer could do nothing against us in the 3rd Pocket Plane challenge, got Dark Taint. Woodcutter Petrified which revealed entrance to the Sendai Enclave. The first level cleared with one rest. Thelynn killed in little over round with 10apr Criticals, and we escaped. Yochol lured away and killed in a round. Except it wasn't the real Yochol, and she and two Galbrezus teleported on me and Removed Magic. After killing real Yochol, it took no less than 49 hits from WoW to stone the two Glabrezus. Two PfU's to range lich Odamaron. Ogremoch's two Greater Earth Elementals lured away and killed. Cloned, and Ogremoch couldn't defend against double 10apr Blackrazor's level drains. Although even that took about 6 rounds, tough bastard. Diyatha lured away from others and Smited. Captain Egeissag killed under a round. 20x Mind Focus to 80 Int and first Mind Flayer party done pretty quickly, refreshed Improved Haste and the next party took longer, but really no problems. Deva and Fire Elementals handled the Drow Wizards.

    Jezebel v Sendai. We had amassed 69 Invisibility potions for this battle. Because of the incredibly potent Drows, with GWW's and -30 Thac0's could kill us fast without escaping. Even with 85 DR and Regeneration, we only managed to kill the Cleric statue before we had to drink Invisibility and escape to Pocket Plane to rest. It's important to get the Cleric first as it can cast Deva that would stop the escape to Pocket Plane. And so it continued, we killed a Drow and drank Invisibility to regain full health. And when ever the Mages cast Dispel, we timed Invisibility right after. After Drows were dead, the next trouble was three Wizards. Once the two Wizards were down, we got 3 Statues one go. The teleporting ranged Statue was easily the most annoying to kill, and we needed to micro manage Reflection Shield to make it go melee to get a hit. After a while it was killed. But we mistakinly thought there was still a Statue left, and real Sendai arrived and we had zero preparations. We drank Invis potion, Sendai Time Stopped and True Sighted it away. We put Spell Turning on, Sendai cast another Time Stop and Deva which we had to kite out. Luckily Sendai didn't seem to have any nasty spells, and after True Sight was out we drank Invisibility potion. Once Deva was out, we started casting Fire Elementals and Deva then finished her off. The fight took no less than 35 Invisibility potions.

    Favored of Cyric posed no threath in the 4th Pocket Plane challenge, got Hand of Murder. Even Evil can convince Balty to join with 2-2-3-2-1-1-1-3-3-1-1-2-1-1 choices. For Ravager we had 710 +4 Bullets and Reflection Shield. Summon door trick, and lured the Bone Blades out. Once we were sure they wouldn't follow us, we attacked Ravager. Casually ranged it and used all HLA's. In the end it took 240 bullets and three Improved Hastes, got 25 DR.

    Before the end battle we took Neera out for a stroll until we were ambushed. Neera died in a second, and we backed off. Thayan Knights Charmed with SoC and killed. Fire Elementals then depleted the Wizards, and we SoC'd them. Vicross teleported us to Thay, and the landing was quickly leveled. Resurrected Neera and sent her back to Pocket Plane. Bought some stuff from the Market. Mainly Golden Girdle of Urnst, Cloak of the Lich and second Wand of Wonder. Jezebel v Szass Tam. Activated the battle with 5 Fire Elementals, and continued sending more from afar. Szass cast 3 Time Stops and Improved Alacrities, Wished them back, and did it again. It took full Staff of Fire to get most of his spells out, and then he started homing on us. We cast Earth Elementals and Deva to attack him, but he kited them out himself and Deva only got a hit. Enough of this, Cloned and with 10apr Criticals Szass agreed that this really was enough, and sent us back.

    Does anyone know how many hours it takes from start of Crusader Attacks to Belhifet? I'm thinking of trying Wild Mage, and I need 1hp mage for Bel. But rather than gimping my CON I would like to use Violet Potion and Claw of Kasgaroth. But I need to level drain before the Crusader attacks, and I don't know if 24h is enough to beat Bel from there. I don't have save in hand to test as I wiped my previous install.

    EDIT: Tested it and doesn't work. Although it takes just 4 hours excluding fighting to reach Bel from crusader attacks, buffs get removed in the cutscene before Avernus. Seems rather random? And because there's no access to Bloodbark Grove and level drain after crusader attacks, it can't be done with Violet Potion. Well technically, we could still try to beat the crusaders with 6hp. :D

    I agree that cutscene is a pain. Perhaps the idea is that it takes a day to prepare the blood-letting ceremony ...

    Yeah thematically it makes sense, it's just weird that it doesn't affect time. Although now that I think of it is there even a way of forwarding time without the sleep cutscene? Don't actually remember such thing, other than in the campaign map.

    I've been playing 1hp Wild Mage the last couple days, but she fell against Bel. It was going very well, and Bel was at injured state already before the second Fireshield Blue was out. Third Fireshield was a sex change, but during the fourth I was suddenly killed. Anyone know what that swirly red icon means, or is there a way to check the log what happened? My saves were not changed from of beginning of the fight and I wasn't casting atm of death.

    Is that a charm/domination icon? I think there are at least a couple of the devils that can be summoned that can charm you, so that would be a possibility if your saving throw was vulnerable.

    I vaguely remember someone trying years ago to do a mod to make text prior to death available, but it's not something I've ever used I'm afraid.

    Cornugon can Dire Charm 0 v Spell. I was stupidly trying to optimize my fight and didn't use Clarity. The thing is my saves at the time were -2/-5/-1/-1/-1 including 2x Stone Forms and Ring of Crusade bonus, so I don't know why that could've happened? My Stone Forms weren't out at that point. These are the ones I was looking before fight.

    Poison/Disease CON -2 v Death
    Stun 0 v Death
    Panic -3 v Wand
    Hold -1 v Spell

    Serves right for me though not bothering with one Clarity potion...

    Odd things sometimes happen in the game. ;) The very specific protection provided by the Ring of the Crusade is the sort of thing that could easily not be implemented properly, so that might be a possibility ...

    True, that kind of implementation has always bothered me. Like it doesn't say it anywhere that it doesn't stack with PfE or Ring of Purity, you just have to research it yourself.

    I might actually continue my run, to see how Wild Mage fairs in SoA, or actually plays. Funny thing is that I played BG1 at lv1 the exactly same way as other characters, and hardly used any scrolls. It did come to me as a surprise that scrolls and innate abilities Wild Surge too. I only had one Wild Surge with Good Berries in BG1 at Palace Ambush, and couple others in SoD. Mostly after Crusaders attacked as I started using scrolls more.

    Second attack against Bel and Clarity kept Charm's away. 7 Fireshield's and 2 Enchanted Weapons with Throwing Dagger +1 got Bel to 150hp, but got horrible rolls with 120 Bullets +3 and Bel was still at 90hp. Then trying to equip Lori's Amulet (Bless) to maximize melee damage I was insta killed. :D I forgot to check the hp part 0/2. Although I don't know why that would affect hp, description doesn't say anything about it. I didn't just die, the whole game crashes trying to equip that. Man there's a lot of interesting things that can happen in 1hp run.

    Yeah. Surging on scrolls is arguably unfair given the scroll has originally been written by someone else, but I can still accept the possibility of a surge on the arcane spells. Allowing a surge on a non-arcane Bhaal power though seems just ridiculous to me and is the thing that annoys me the most about wild mage runs.

    Figured this out. It wasn't because the Lori's Amulet, but because my DEX was 1 with Archer's Eyes, and removing that reduced it to 0.

    Anyway 1hp Wild Mage beat Bel third try, before Fireshield Blue and Enchanted Weapons were out.
