    How about using invisibility to prevent most of the demon attacks? Stoneskin scrolls might then allow you to build up a new HP stock from potions of power.

    True that would allow rebuff, as they start to scatter after using Invisibility potion. And only Erinyes would hit kiting the field, but only with 20's which doesn't really matter. Besides random, there's 16 guaranteed Power Potions in BG+SoD. So with two patches of 8 should do the trick with almost 300hp most of the time.

    Another nR Paladin run, and because I've ever done Cavalier (like 20 times, and still missing the nR glory :( ), I wanted to try Blackguard out. It has nice immunities too, gets Detonators and Dispel arrows, doesn't have to worry about falling in Hell Trials getting 25 STR, and can wear Soul Reaver +4 naturally. We are going to tackle full Durlag's Tower for the Helmet of Opposite Alignment, to wear Twinkle and Ring of Purity. Not that we need them against Belhifet, but it's a long time since I've been in the lowest levels. We can also get the 12th Champion's Strength scroll from there, which allows two patches of six against Bel, getting our Thac0 to -24 and hitting the bastard every, single, time.

    Chapter 1. Prologue 250xp. Killed Imoen, Xzar and Montaron for two Speed potions, and Neera for Gem Bag. Marl 900xp. Killed Algernon for his Cloak. Picked first Invis potion from Beregost Manor. We Charmed Jemby, who is so beautiful that she stops Drizzt fighting the Gnolls all together if he sees her.

    Chapter 2. Noober 400xp, picked second Invis potion from Nashkel manor, and bought rep to 10 because Jezebel wants nice dreams. Vitiare ranged with 421 arrows 125xp, which was pretty pointless timesink. Revenant Cave 3rd Invis 900xp, lv2. Albert 1000xp. Tenya's Bowl 2000xp, lv3. Lured Dushai away with a bow and killed for Freeaction ring. Bought rep again to 11. Invisibility to Mulahey and Charmed with one rest, and Kobbo's did the rest.

    Chapter 3. Charmed Minsc killed Nimbul 650xp. Charmed Marl KO'd Tranzig 975xp. Raiken escorted us to Bandit Camp, where we Charmed Taurgosz and he got killed by Hobgoblin Elite and Wild Dog. Got Full Plate. Joseph's Ring 800xp. Bought rep to 13 and did the rep run. Mulahey's Symbol 14 1000xp lv4. Oublek 15, Drienne 16 200xp, Firebead 17 300xp, Samuel 18 500xp, Joia's Ring (Charm) 19 300xp and Brage 20 1000xp. With Stone Giant potion from Brage we could open the Chest with Fire Giant potion in Carnival, and open the chest with our 4th Invis potion, and also Invul and Heroism. Lamalha Waylay used Invis potion, and free Charm worked. Some kiting but picked up Power Potion. Charmed Gnarl and Jezebel took out Hairtooth 175xp. Gnarl got killed by a Xvart for Hill Giant potion. Picked up CHA-tome just running, and we now had 20/20 economy and 21k gold. Bought Sandthief Ring and Greenstone Amulet for 13k. Molkar waylay escaped by running. We wanted Hakt's Bow so I was prepared to waste Sandthief charges 1500 gold a pop. Luckily we managed with just first try. He was quickly killed attacking Britik. Absorption, Speed, Greenstone. But just when I started running to the chest I forgot that I still had the Freeaction ring on. I quickly popped another Speed and looted the Chests and got Sandthief on. In the end we got poisoned but didn't lose that much health. First mistake in the run.

    Chapter 4. One Sandthief to pass Cloakwood 2 right click looting the body and Scimitar. Upon reaching the Mines, we turned back to CK 1 and then CK 2. This way the whole CK takes just one Sandthief and we returned the body for Tiber 800xp. Well, it was still the same as I need one Santdthief to enter the mines anyway, hmmm. Got Scimitar +2 which will serve until we manage to get Twinkle on. 2x Sandthiefs to Davaeorn Guard. Charmed the guard with second attempt and spent one Invis potion because my sleep was disrupted. Used our last Sandthief charge to park the Battle Horrors away, so we now had only one potion if something went wrong. It didn't and the Guard killed Davaeorn 6000xp, lv5. Escaped the place with Speed potion 2000xp.

    Chapter 5. 28k gold so we recharged Sandthief and Greenstone for 19k. Nadine Amulet 1500xp and OGL. Tremain's Son 5000xp. Ragefast depleted with 5 Greenstone charges and level skipping 4000xp. Ramazith Charmed, depleted and killed by his own Skeli 4000xp. Cured Ghorak 1000xp, lv6. Bought two green PfP scrolls and 15 Stone to Flesh and did the Basilisk xp-loop. It took 3 Charm attemps, so using Sandthief ring it cost 4500 gold. Next time we should first use the Mirrored Eyes, lv8. Also Stoned Kirian's party and Mutamin. We had three half full OGL's and those were enough for Denak's mage party, got Ring of Energy. Picked up CON-tome with couple Sandthief charges. Lothander Charmed and wasted from Poison Weapons, then talked to and stopped leaving and killed for the Speed Boots. Couple Charmed Gamesman KO'd Marek. Took 40 minutes but I had to take time off, so why not delegate stuff to others. Quenash got killed by a Ghoul for her Cloak. Seven Suns Dobbelgangers easily dispatched with Poison Weapon and Aura of Despair without other resources. Fire Giant potion is enough to open the Chest with PfU, and also the Chest in Iron Throne basement with Storm Giant potion. Slayed the Ogre Mage with the Arrow using one Sandthief charge and Greenstone Amulet. Used Mirrored Eyes and our last Sandthief charge to pickup Scimitar +2 from Durlag's Tower, because I needed to recharge it anyway. At 600 gold + 20 Acid arrows it wasn't worth it. Sandthief to Iron Throne and free Charm on Naaman worked. But interestingly Kaalos and Shennara were nowhere to be seen in 35.12 SCS. Naaman cast Invis on me and then got killed by Thaldorn for PfU. So we only used a Sandthief in Iron Throne.

    Chapter 6. Ogre Mage waylay passed with Invis potion. Iron Throne leaders Charmed and killed one by one. This time we didn't get any Invis potions. Looted the place with 1xPfF, 2xInsulation, Cloud Giant, Shield Amulet, Speed, DuHM, Greenstone and 3xSandthief and left.

    We are now ready to start descending Durlag's Tower.

    Chapter 7. Charmed Riggolo killed Ghost and then got killed by Ghast's. Looted upstairs all I could. Managed to build the Sword in Labyrinth 1 before our Sandthief charges were out. Couple back and forths selling our loot we had 25k gold and recharged it again. Two Sandthiefs was enough to loot the rest of the level. We managed to lure Avarice, and Fear level above, and started kiting Love with Ring of Energy, Freeaction ring and Greenstone amulet. And after 33 hits Love was killed. Picked up Durlag's Goblet from Labyrinth 2. Torture room - Teleport to South and picked up the exit Ward Stone. Teleporting stopped repeating trap. Picked up Kiel's Helmet and ran out as I was being homed on by multiple enemies. We sold our loot including Kiel's Helm because Blackguards can also use Durlag's Goblet naturally.

    Wanted to prepare more so we went and Charmed Girdle Ogre who got killed by GIbberlings. Charmed Zal who was killed by Vex for Archer Gloves. Charmed Caldo who battled Crumm to death and we finished Krumm off. Tarnesh killed with the help of Greenstone Amulet. Sandthief to rescue Eltan. Charmed Larze killed Slythe. Recharged OGL, Ring of Energy etc. But it still was not enough, and we still had 4 Sandthief charges left. Looted Gullykin Defense, Stone Form, and PfP. Not enough. Managed to Charm Meilum with one Sandthief and three rests. Meilum killed Kahrk and then got killed by Kobbo's. This netted cool 8k, and with it we could buy the last potions and recharge Sandthief. One Sandthief to Labyrinth 1 and we picked Chaotic Commands and PfE 15' scrolls before exiting the level.

    Labyrinth 3. Fireball trap is nice way of healing with Icingdeath and couple rings. Passed the Wyvern room and Mask corridor Invisible and picked up Bala's Axe from the Maze. In the Ice test we casually ranged Kaldran with couple PfC potions and Freeaction ring. Couple Ice Wolves followed outside, but they were easily lost. PfP and Absorbtion for the Earth test and burned the Fission Slime with 22 Fireballs. Greater Ghouls lured to the Earth room so I didn't need to use Sandthief to pass them. The Air Aspect was lured to the repeating Fire Trap to be killed. Some of the Wolves followed there and got burned too. I kited the Phoenix Guard with Acid arrows easily to death once, but then I mistakenly clicked to the exit, and when I returned it immediatelly teleported us to the chess board. Weird, but that was just fine with us. Pause and insta Invis potion, yet they still managed to alert on us. There wasn't really a way of fighting the King in such close quarters so we just passed them Invisible.

    Labyrinth 4. We used our on Invisibility to go to the Spider room and talked to the Golem. Then we ran to the Forge, protections still on picked up the loot and the Wardstone and left the Helmet Horrors closing the door. Token room and clicked on the Machine, then looted the Rune room protections still on. The repeating trap did close to 100 dmg, but we healed after that. Then clicked the bed in the Rune room and answered the Golem again. Entering to Acid pool area we first looted the 5th OGL and then put our 4th Sandthief on. Scouted ahead refreshing protection again for Lightning traps. For Grael Cloud, Heroism, Speed, Greenstone and attacked. But it wasn't long before Jezebel was diseased and Thac0 started going very bad. Plan B was trying to Charm him, and I kited him a while trying to do so, but after like 10th hit I concluded that he was immune to it. Time for plan C, which was a kite with Ring of Energy. Keeped refreshing Greenstone and eventually Grael fell with 18th strike. The last Greater Ghoul took just one additional hit. Looking it back Grael is actually immune to Charm, which wasn't the case in past I don't think.

    Looted the Wardstone used 5th Sandthief. Used DuhM on top of Cloud Giant to open the Chests in Store and Throne rooms. And then spoke to the Golem the final time. For Demon Knight we used PfM (long time since I've actually used one since it was changed to caster only), 2x Mind Focus, Protection from Fire, Heroism and Speed then quickly ran to the Mirror and opened it. Because we had PfM on only Demon Knights counterpart spawned. I bombed him with Acid arrows, but it was mostly his clone that killed him, which was slightly anticlimactic. In the end it took only 5 Sandthiefs and 1 Invis potion to handle the Labyrinths which wasn't that bad. We decided to spend one Sandthief to get a hit on the King, but he evaded Charm and I wasn't feeling another closed quarter Ring of Energy kite, so we let Islanne teleport us out.

    Besides the Helm of Opposite Alignment and 5th OGL, this was very lucrative endeavour and probably earned us close to 50k gold. Only missed the 12th Champion Strength scroll, well something to improve some day. Anyway we equipped Twinkle +3 off hand and priest then removed the cursed Helm. In Palace ambush we Charmed the Mage and Shaman Dobbelgangers. 2x Mind Focus, Defense, Cloud, Speed and Power. Started the fight and first hit the Doppelgangers with Dispel Arrows to slow them, which took 7 arrows, then DuHM and wiped them out. It still took some time and Belt got injured, so we used couple Cure Light Wounds on him. Shaman was done after two Dispel Arrows and few rounds of hacking. The Mage, Greenstone and started shooting Dispel Arrows, Speed, Power, and then I got the Dispelling strike. Mage got protections on again, but we again Dispelled it quickly. And it wasn't long until the Mage died too.

    Used our last Sandthief to travel to Undercity. Killing Tamoko took 5 Goblets because she managed to conjure 3 Skelis. Used one Invis potion to return to the city. Tamoko's stuff and Magma Bulwark nets cool 13,5k which paid another Sandthief. Sunin was depleted with Speed and Greenstone, level skipping his spells. Managed to separate Delorna and she got the same treatment, didn't bother with the rest. We got our 5th OGL and after recharging and buying everything we left for Sarevok. Said hello to him and used Invisibility. Had to burn another Sandthief to get them clumped together because Angelo wasn't getting hit. Diarmid died after 44 Fireballs and Sarevok was then burned too, and I still have 23 OGL charges left for Korlasz.

    Start of the SoD was the usual. Invisibility to Porios, double Invisibility and PfU to Korlasz, waited her Protection from Fire out and it took 6 Fireball + Invisibilities to make her surrender.

    Chapter 8. Teleria and Golem hacked casually, Menhir's, lv9 with Sanctuary. Listened Dwarves getting killed and made a pact with the lich. Hid behind the tent for the parlay.

    Chapter 9. Picked up the Paladin amulet from the Troll Cave with Sanctuary, which can be worn with the HoOA. But it's kind of useless at this point. Morentherene daggered, Ziatar burned and Akanna Charmed with second try and killed soon after. Fort surrendered and Bridge Mage interrupted with Ring of Energy.

    Chapter 10. Cool 160k selling my stuff to Nazramu. Also bought Ring of Purity and we used HoOA again to equip it. Mundane quests. Hidden Cellar, used PfU and burned the Undead. Mirrored Eyes, Cloud, DuHM and got Amulet of Whispers. Charmed the Orog Chieftain for Protector of Unworthy. Mundane quests in Dragonspear Castle. Sliced some Myconids for the Myconid sack and convinced Ferrusk giving the Ankheg Amulet. Said hello to Hephernaan and left with winds of speed.

    Buffed for the Troll Wave, Undead, Stone Ally, Myconids, and started burning them with 4apr Detonators. It went quickly and we used only 16 arrows and two Goblets. Mage Wave, Wizard Slayers (avoiding Stycichs stupidity Dispel), Stone Ally, Myconids, Clasp of Helm and 15 Detonators. Auziel, Stone Ally and Myconids for the Cavaliers. Rhayla somehow managed to Dispel us even getting burned 4 times in a round. :s We quickly put PfM on and continued explosions, most of them dying in few hits. Two of them had Sanctuary on so we buffed little. In the end it took 30 Detonators and five Goblets. Rebuffed and Final Wave went much faster with 18 Detonators and two Goblets. Ashatiel easily killed and Trix was tricked opening the doors without fighting.

    Blackguard v Belhifet. 3xPfF, PfC, PfE, PfA, Violet, 8x Mind Focus, PfP, Fortitude, Defense, Speed, Invulnerability, Power and started the lift. Took 10 rounds to get to the final wave. Left the Green Abishai for even more power. 30 Heroism, Defense, Speed, Invul, 6 Champions Strenghts, Storm and Power. Switched Cloverleaf to Protector of Unworthy and Cloak of Balduran to Crommus Capelet. Escaped the Dispel and started hacking with -24 (with Chant) Thac0 and -25 AC (with eventual Blur). And it went bloody fast, first patch of Champion's Strength wasn't even out when both Bel & Hep were dead. So probably around 20 rounds. Paladins remain the bane of Belhifet.

    Jezebel woke up in Irenicus dungeon with 599640xp, so lv10 freeing Jaheira. I don't know how the spilt experience actually works, but we took it. And it was a breeze with two Sanctuaries. Only slight trouble with narrow corridor Duergar, but double Sanctuaries got them out of the way. Mephits lured in and doors closed. 4k gold selling our loot, and we bought our first Invis potion.

    Chapter 2. Started the Thieves quest line and looted Maevar's and temples. Suna Seni waylay passed with Invis potion. Graveyard quests and looted the place. Renfeld waylay passed with pre Sanctuary. Bought rep to 10, and just about afforded the Ring of Air Control. Which we used to summon Cowled Wizards in Goverment district. Not that we needed casting rights, but because it's easy money. Neutral Guards killed some of them, they escape at 3 hour mark and cast an Earth Elemental which guards can't hurt. Invis potion x2, Laeral Tear Necklase x4, Symbol Fear, Abi Dalsim, PfU, Mind Focus, so about 12k gold if sold.

    Rayic quest didn't go as planned, as we tried foolishly fight the Mephit's, and got boxed in. We burned almost 10 Extra, and almost all regular Healing potions before I noticed our Thac0 was being drained. Spent an Invis potion to recover. Could only kill one Fire Mephit, before I concluded it to be impossible at the moment. We got free and used another Invis potion to leave them to the streets. Anyway went in and repeated the Fireball trap to kill Rayic and escaped with Sanctuary. Pre Charmed Mae'var, and he only managed to kill the Priest, before assassins got him.

    Mundane stuff. Picked up Potion Case from WK, and Paladin Bracers, which we sold because we couldn't use them. Umar Hills Beljuril, Madulf, lv11. Wellyn's Bear. Bought rep to 15. Bridge Murders. Used one Invis potion to reach Neera's refuge and did the easy fetch quest for Amulet +2. Looted De'Arnise, Glaicus cured with the Cloak, built FoA+3 and got Elven Court Bow +3. Got the Wizard in Trademeet bug again, as all went red circle. One Militia got killed, the second Militia killed Wizard. Leaving the level, animals then killed the second Militia, leaving still couple peasants red circle. Looted Druid Grove for Archers Gloves, and Belm +2. Easily killed Reti for the Senses of Cat. Charmed Welther, and Bragg killed him for Silver Pantaloons, and then we released Lady Agea. Sir Sarles. Neb took 4 Extra potions, but wasn't that tough with our immunity to Level Drain. Improved Invisibility and Charmed Shanasha, and Prebek wasted spells on her. Killed all, lv12. Harper Hold.

    Escaped Mages double Charm with Spear of Unicorn in Copper Coronet. Bought Vhailor's Helm and Clone casually killed Beastmaster. PfP and repeated the Cloudkill trap to kill Captain Haegan and co. Killed the Trolls but didn't bother with the rest. Clone killed Paina who doesn't get help if not talked to, got Kitthix. Bought couple Magic protections from Roger the Fence and picked up Silver Horn, which we upgraded twice. Mekrath's Mephits easily dispatched by our gang. Baited Mekrath Contingencies, then Invis potion. Clone cast Warrior on him, then Kitthix and attacked. Pulled nice amount of summons which we waited out. Then I cast Kitthix on him, then Warrior. At this point Mekrath only got Acid arrow on me. Temple Sewers passed with Sanctuary, built the Bridge, lv13 and got a Skeli.

    Chapter 3. We paid for Thieves and did the couple easy quests for them. Got Amulet of Power, so I could change my Amulet +2 for Ring +2 and get slightly faster casting. Lassal passed Invisible, the Contacts easily killed by our gang. Picked up MoD with Sanctuary and Improved it. Bought few PfU's and back we went. Killing them took long time with our non profiency Mace, used Frost Giant and Speed potions. Bodhi just waited out. Mencar was Silenced and casually killed with Clone, got Full Plate. Charmed Rissling and Amon who followed downstairs, Amon cast couple Fire Elementals and they killed Rissling, lv14.

    Taquee was Charmed and he first cast Improved Haste on Jezebel, and then managed to Petrify himself, the other Djinni's were easily killed with 8 apr FoA, got Efreeti bottle. Windspear Paladins easily killed, as were the Assassins getting pre Invisibility and then summoning everybody in the top room. Guardians killed one by one and picked Peridan, got Heartseeker +3, the best Long Bow for now. Conster was depleted from Spells and killed. Casually picked WoW from the Mind Flayer base with PfU, Speed, Invul, Improved Invis and Sanctuary. Had to cast Warrior getting back because the way was blocked by an Umber Hulk. Sanctuary is nice here as it stops Mindies targeting, which Invisibility doesn't. Firkraag XP-loop, 4, 6, 8, 7, lv20 with max spells and Fallen Deva. Another changed thing, as Deva can now be taken more than one time.

    Deva soloed Kalah. Getting 20/20 economy we bought the 80 Dispelling arrows from Peter with 15k. With 3 Blood Raged Skelis, Clone and Deva the Trolls were no problem at all in WK1. Cleaned the level, but left the Statues be, lv21 with 0 base Thac0 and Smite. Planar Sphere. Blood Raged Skelis and Deva with Aura of Despair are damn impressive gang. Mages easily Ego Whipped Deva though. Lavok was depleted and then my Clone got him on the ground. Tanari was killed during Farsight without talking. Clone tried smiting the Mage, but it went bad as Tolgerias aggroed too and destroyed Clone and Deva. Sent in Kitthix, Warrior and Efreeti and they all managed to pull spells. Then Blood Raged Skeli, then another. My last Skeli didn't get any spells so I sent in my Deva and it finished both mages, lv22. Casually hunted City liches with PfU and MoD. Speed and PfU for Kangaxx, and we baited his spells out. Once we got hit on his Skeli it started wandering so we could kill it and Kangaxx stopped casting spells. When he got to Demi we Stoned him with WoW. With Ring of Gaxx we already got saves into negatives all around.

    Temple Ruins was destroyed with three MoD+2's, PfU for the Liches. Shadow Dragon stoned, lv23. Heretic Monks easily killed, lv24 with top of the line Skelis. Easy quests in Temple for the Gem of True Seeing. Four Statues dealt with one attack. The eight Statues were first separated, and then killed the non mage ones with 3 rests. The Mage statues depleted, and then my Deva soloed both, lv25.

    WK2 was solid smacking, nothing our gang couldn't handle. Chromatic Demon stoned after 15 or so hits from WoW, lv26. Used rest of the WoW for another XP-loop. Planar Prison landing was leveled with Fire Elementals which are nice here as they don't really get hit and can be cast from Invisibility. Only the Yuanti-mage managed to confuse them a bit, but that was just slight hinderance. 3 Skelis, Clone and 2 Deva's handled the next two Mage parties one go. Farsight, destroyed the Orb and sent 5 Fire Elementals in for an absolute chaos. Waited their protections out, then sent Fire Elemental in, and only Warden could hit it, and he eventually got killed, lv28. We killed Firkraag the last time with WoW, but no Carsomyr for us.

    Chapter 4. Deva soloed Perth the Adept. Clone turned the page on Book on Infinite Spells until we got Spell Turning, lv29. Irenicus Dungeon solid smacking, very easy with our gang, lv30. Irenicus attacked from Farsight with Fire Elementals, depleted to 1 hp, and he escaped immediately. Another bug in Brynnlaw as all went red circle. Hid the Githyanki waylay. City of Caverns again solid smacking. Selling our stuff to Shaguain merchant we now had cool 235k gold, lv31.

    Chapter 5. Balor got Stoned first hit from WoW. Turned into Drow Ravager after speaking to Adalon and escaped the magic damage with Magic Shielding. Freeing Phaere we got the repeating reward, because of Shaulofein Maze, lv34.

    Kuo-toa had no chance against Drow Ravager, clone summoned Fire Elemental for Demon Knights and they were easily dispatched too. Got Soul Reaver +4 which we can wield. Double crossed the Drow and left. Mindflayers were the only ones needing some attention with stacking Genius Potions and getting saves to -4 (-3 already item based), Cloak of Mirroring stops Ballistic Attacks and Detonations. Got Staff of Command, 4x Control Circlets and Fire Control Ring. Beholder Dungeon punched through, got Greenstone and Spell Warding amulets. Adalon then turned us back to ourselves and we escaped the place. Used drop&move trick to smuggle Drow Full Plate +5 out of there. Drizzt attacked us, possibly being evil, but were no match once we retreated to corner and then summoned everyone. Kruin was casually hacked without talking to. Built Crom Fayer, Wave Blade and Silver Sword.

    Good stuff @histamiini - looks like another victory coming up :D. When transferring from BGEE to SoD and SoD to BG2EE the game only applies the relevant XP limit at the point you load a save. Thus you keep any extra XP gained in your final session - and if that's a long one then you can go way over the XP limit ...

    Good to know, might be very useful with some characters.

    I have tried the “import XP trick” a few times, and had to keep a close watch on the HP calculation, since I could get the XP but all the HP re roller and did not give me max HP… But I am on the iOS version, so I just go the other way and get the HP I want and not the extra XP

    Did some testing with 1hp Cleric and it can beat Belhifet, but it will take a long time. With Martyr's Morningstar and Blazing Glory, hitting only 2 apr crits, the net gain is about 16hp on a turn with Bel's hp regeneration. So it would take like 14 in game hours. You can speed things with the 11 Champion's Strength scrolls, but it isn't that impressive. The game has an annoying bug where with 3 apr, it hits 2:1 with off-hand rather than main hand, and lv1 Cleric has a bad off-hand Thac0. Can't even use Power Potion because that running out will "kill" the 1hp Cleric. But the 1hp Cleric is quite easy to maintain, with correct loadout you only need to refresh Oil of Speed and Chaotic Commands, and there's a plenty of scrolls for it. But... I don't know if I want to try to suffer that. :D

    Another thing I noticed, Cleric's can now get the STR-tome without Violet Potion too. There's a new spell in SCS, Strength of Stone that gives 4 STR and it stacks with DuHM. So human Cleric would get to 24, Half-Orc 25 in BG1.

    I would never play without that option…. The game is unplayable without it imho. >:)
