Can an experienced player or a Dev give a basic SoD romance Rundown?

1. Which NPCS are romance able?
2. What are the romance requirements
3. What romance conflicts are present?

    The requirements above are the only requirements for romances. Race is important only for Viconia.

    Just to be clear. Viconia will only romance Humans, Half-Elves, and Half-Orcs? Also, the main character could have 3 Int, 3 wis, and 3 cha and all the romances will proceed just fine?

    So, Viconia will romance humans, half-elves, halflings and half-orcs. And Charname's stats don't affect romances, they have never mattered in this context.

    Yeah, SOD is a lot nicer with romances than the old BG2 romances, where "X character requires Y stat to be a minimum of Z, in order to be romance-able".

    That was never a thing. There were some pretty nasty race restrictions though, if that's what you were thinking of. As I recall...

    Aerie: Male, Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Gnome
    Jaheira: Male, Human/Half-Elf/Elf/Halfling
    Viconia: Male, Human/Half-Elf/Half-Orc

    AKA it sucked to be a male dwarf!!

    (Not remembering Anomen honestly.)

    As the male dwarves in BG love to point out, they need "a swig of some strong dwarven ale", not some stinkin' fluffy romance thing :)

    Then at least you could have given them the option to romance ale. Instead, we have to leave it to our imagination...

    And yes, romancing Elminster's Choice will get you turned into a chicken by the old man himself. He gets a tad possessive.

    It also sucked to be a female gnome, half-orc or dwarf.
    Though a lot of players would argue that being female in this game sucked in general, when it comes to romances.

    Thank Bhaal for mods.

    Mods also gave us the expectation that you'd need a certain charisma score for a romance, of course, so there's always trade-offs.

    Does BG tweaks/convenience pack work with SoD? I want to use it to completely remove the gender/racial requirements, I also want to use it for multiple romances at once.
