So BoT is sadly not for iOS. Oh, well ;p,

    I wouldn’t be this harsh :)

I was playing with both JPC and BoT installed on my iPad for years when the game was still in 3.1.3 version without any issues. I made my own fixes for both mods to update the ui.menu to match my iPad resolution, so it is definitely doable.

Unfortunately at the moment I don’t have access to ui.menu for iPad PST 3.2.2 version of the game, but once I do, I will check updates needed for my patches, and I can share those here as well. There is no ETA for this however.

    Edit.

I tested current versions of JPC and BoT using PC 3.2.2 version of ui.menu imported into my iPad, without the alternative files provided by bzm, and I don’t see the same black box problem that agat described.

I installed A7 texturecoverter (Option 7) after, as I do always when installing mods to iPad.

Not sure if the black boxes would appear if I used iPad version of ui.menu though.

Some of the ui elements are off as described, but I don’t want to start fixing those until I have access to iPad 3.2.2 version of ui.menu.

    Interesting tool.
And yes, it looks like that manual edit: ui.menu - is a must in such cases.

Yes, A7 conversion tool is mandatory always when adding non-iPad native .pvrz files into iPad infinity engine games. Following Luke’s instructions still generally apply with current versions of the games (except now mod folders can be also accessed using file managers more easily, if one prefers that).

Preliminarily, I think now when 3.2.2 introduced supporting non-standard iPad widescreen resolutions, the amount of ui.menu fixes needed has reduced considerably.

Dialogue box either on bottom or side works now without patching needed, which to me is the main thing with these mods.

BoT settings page still needs patching to have all elements visible, same for BoT updated quest log.

BoT provided combined inventory does not work properly with touchscreens in my opinion, but that is not mandatory.

I would say BoT is currently usable even without ui patching.

Anyway, if I get access to native iPad ui.menu at some point I can check patches needed to fit iPad resolutions better also for the secondary items.

I got access to PSTEE 3.2.2 iPad version of ui.menu.

JournalPortraitConversations -mod works well on iOS without any patching needed.

Book of Torment mod -requires small ui.menu patching to work on smaller screens, I made a small weidu mod for the required changes.
