ok its UI mode '0' that fixed it but tbh my ui is now all over the place and i cannot repair its alignment
Yeah, that's one of the options you should never activate unless you know what you're doing. You could probably reset the UI by removing the file UI.MENU from the override folder of the game. But if you've installed mods that made changes to the UI then these changes would also be removed.
yes, i have SCS, EEex and bubbs spell menu so i think its risky. maybe you can tell me where i can adjust middle menu with battle log in UI menu? it's now unadjustable and misaligned.
btw. "Yeah, that's one of the options you should never activate unless you know what you're doing. " i think it should be mentioned in readme.
Also that uninstall is not bringing back the basic settings.
UI.MENU is a huge and complex collection of UI definitions. It's impossible to tell what has to be changed to revert any unintended modifications, even more so if other mods have changed the content. Especially DavidW's mods are known for making substantial changes to the UI.
You could try to fix the changes in the game with UI Mode enabled, but make a backup of UI.MENU first, just in case.

No, it's not. As I said, this mod only exposes existing but hidden game options by adding the respective UI controls to the game options screen. The baldur.lua file isn't even touched by the mod installation itself.

If you want to get rid of everything then you'd have to rename or delete the baldur.lua file.
