Hello,
are there any mods for BG2EE that add Xzar and Shar-Teel as playable companions?
Thanks for any info :)

I asked the same question back in January (https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/63038/looking-for-a-lost-bg2-mod-xzar-monty-a-new-section-of-athkatla-etc#latest).

Here's what I got: There is a mod called BG1NPCSOA (http://www.baldursgatemods.com/forums/index.php?board=133.0) which introduces Xzar, Monty, and others. I think Shar-Teel is one of them.

BEWARE! The mod is VERY uneven, with many half-finished or even like 90% unfinished ideas, strange concepts, characters from other games, extremely cheesy items, etc. So yes, you can have your heart's desire, but it comes at a price.

It may be more convenient for you to simply use the console to create Shar-Teel and Xzar out of thin air. They are in the game files; all you need is the right code. Google is your friend here.

You are phrasing this very polite. I had to keep myself hard from commenting on this question. Yes, there are mods and yes, they are pure crap.

Thanks for idea, but when I try installing this mod I get Error, guess it is not compatible with latest BG2 EE version (steam, updated version, only mods installed are "Unfinished Business" and some tweaks from "The Tweaks Anthalogy"). Do you know about any other mods?

Spawning them is my last resort, I would like to have them with interactions with other NPCs...

The mods mentioned above do not add contents (e.g. interactions). They do little more than doing automatic spawning for you. There is a mod that adds a additional plot for Xzar and Monty with the harper's compound in the docks and Xzar becomes joinable afterwards, but again without any further contents.

If you want mods for BG1 NPCs in the game which really continue the character, look for the Kivan, Xan, Ajantis, Edwin related mods and some more.

That is sad to hear, what about Tiax from this mod http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/index.php?option=content&task=blogcategory&id=113&Itemid=84 ? Does he have some interactions?

Unfortunately NPCs you mentioned are no interest to me, I would like to continue BG2 with my last party from BG1, I quite liked this one (Minsc, Xzar, Shar-Teel, Tiax, Neera)

Yes. That is a nice mod developed by Kulyok. Tiax will interact with the rest of the group (even with Dorn, Hexxat, Neera and Rasaad).

I'm quite fond of BG1 NPCs in SoA. A mixture of hack & slash in the IWD vein, crazy ideas- like joining Faldorn in attacking / besieging Trademeet, and some off the wall banter. Tastes vary of course :).

Great to hear, at least my party won't lose leader ;)

I would be happy to try it, but as I wrote before, it is not working correctly with current BG2EE, Shar-Teel part wont install.

They're in Darkest Day too but no dialogue there. For Shar-Teel I might take the Angelo mod & headcanon that avenging his daughter's murder at Irenicus is part of Angelo's motivations. Or do a vanilla BG2 installation.

I couldn't find anything on Google and EEKeeper doesn't show Shar-Teel in the explore creatures menu. Are you sure that she is in the game files? :O
