I've been eaten alive by mosquitoes in Brazil, thankfully no Maws here though. Winter has set in... A chilly 25 degrees today heh... It means very few mosquitoes now though.

Quest update: Brazil has no petrol at the moment and we still need another 1,000 docs to marry... Saved by an Uber taxi running on ethanol. Friday... Will determine whether we can marry in Brazil or need to apply for England. Im sure Prince Harry didn't have to go through all this.

Yeah, I'm working with BR in my current project and they told about the truck drivers' strike and the effect it has on the country. Hope it works out for you @fluke13.

June the 30th, that's when we're going to go mountains and nature with workmates. Maybe we'll try to find a lake around to spend the night, drink and talk.

For my birthday, yesterday, I got myself a fisheye lens for toying around. The Samyang (sold under the Rokinon brand in the USA) 7.5, it's got a lot of bang for the bucks but it's full manual only (focus and aperture) so it'll really be for playing around and practicing.

EDIT: I also saw Vogtlander released lenses for micro 4/3 that can open at f/0.9. With that I could take pictures of the night sky without having to go for a larger sensor camera. As a teenager I was deeply interested in two things, astrophysics and IT and knew I would work in one of those field (which was in complete contradiction with my specialities at school, languages, history and geography). Did IT finally.

Alright, I put one of those on my "to buy" lenses. I live close to the "Pic du Midi" so I should book a night there someday. Yes, there's a restaurant and an hostel on it, at 2870m above sea level.

Here's a picture of it taken from my flat (with a badass zoom so you know)

Still talking of pictures, I found this one too next to the one above in my mess of a folder. Taken in Auschwitz with my cell phone (yes it's a phone picture). I almost succeeded to do a double blur thing (one in the foreground and one in the background with the focus on the centre), I'm saying almost because it's not 100% ok, far from it.
