Remember politico reporting a couple days ago there's a high profile criminal in Trump's administration, possibly Trump himself, fighting a Mueller subpoena. This target had appealed as if it's a national emergency and a Trump appointed judge recused himself from hearing the appeal? Who is it? Is it Trump himself, he and his lawyer claim it's not them but he lies about everything so maybe. It could also be Mike Pence or Trump Jr.

At any rate, if Trump and Pence crash down in flames after January we are looking at a President Pelosi (or whoever is the Democrat picked to be Speaker of the House). Guys it's a long shot and we will believe it when we see it but the national nightmare has a solution lol.

It depends on Republicans doing their job but hey depending on the severity of the crimes and the evidence that Mueller has...... Obviously he's definitely got a lot of obstruction of justice evidence already with the firing of Comey and Sessions both being blatant attempts at obstruction of justice.

If this is true this is sheer idiocy, not a rational fear. Are we seriously suggesting a woman suffering cardiac arrest is going to, weeks or months after surviving because some guy performed CPR on her, going to turn around and charge him with assault?? If these men actually believe that, I think we needed smarter and less paranoid people learning CPR. And who the hell weighs that kind of consideration in their head in a life or death situation?? The type of person who would say "I'd save this woman's life, if only I wasn't scared of the .01% chance she will accuse me of sexual assault" is the type of person who likely wasn't going to take the initiative to do so in the first place. Let's hypothetically say in some alternate universe this actually took place. What police force or court would take it seriously?? There would almost certainly be witnesses if it happened in public. Shit, cops and courts don't much take ACTUAL cases of sexual assault seriously, much less something like this. Worrying about this scenario is like worrying a dragon is going swoop down and grab your car while you are driving tomorrow.

May I also add this in the findings of the study: "The team's findings showed that in their descriptive study, participants in their cohort performed CPR or used an AED on virtual-reality female victims less than on virtual male victims. But a study with more participants is needed to statistically identify any significant gender gaps and to confirm the trend found, Leary said."

So it's a study, but drawing conclusions from a single study is iffy.

Pence was chosen to get the highly religious right wing on board with Trump.

Just because Manafort was doing his job in making sure the best VP candidate was secured. Trump still had to get elected and Manafort knew (much like a shit load of other people) that Pence was the better choice over Christie. The one thing the Republicans didn't want was another Palin, which they probably would have had with Christie.

Have you ever insisted, “Uncle just got here—go give him a big hug!” or “Auntie gave you that nice toy, go give her a kiss,” when you were worried your child might not offer affection on her own? If yes, you might want to reconsider the urge to do that in the future.
Think of it this way, telling your child that she owes someone a hug either just because she hasn’t seen this person in a while or because they gave her a gift can set the stage for her questioning whether she “owes” another person any type of physical affection when they’ve bought her dinner or done something else seemingly nice for her later in life.

You are assuming that the chances of false accusations are low. And you don't need to be formely accused in court and judged to have your life ruined. An single FB post can turn your life into a living hell.

About people not taking accusation seriously, why not talk about the International Monetary Fund who had his political carer ruined, lost his job and was forced to walk under heavily vigilance by a false accusation? And the woman provided NO evidence.

PS : I agree that is a paranoia but this article only shows how paranoic people are.

PS : I agree that is a paranoia but this article only shows how paranoic people are.

So what is the insinuation here, that feminism and the recent focus on sexual assault and harassment in the culture is causing such a backlash that it is actually going to cost people lives because men are running around so scared they are going to get hit with a false accusation that they are afraid of their own shadow?? It's perfectly possible to get by in life talking to and interacting with any number of women on a daily basis without being accused of sexual assault or harassment. It's actually incredibly easy to do. Does this mean false accusations NEVER happen?? Of course not. People get hit by lighting too. It's not something any reasonable person should possibly spend a second of their life actually worrying about. If you act like a normal, respectful person who understands what is acceptable behavior, there is a greater than 99.9% chance you will go through your entire life without having to worry about this. It isn't a thing on any large scale. What IS true is that for every 1000 rapes, 994 will go unpunished. In fact, 690 of them won't ever be reported at all:

    https://www.rainn.org/statistics/criminal-justice-system

We see this constant trend of backlash whenever an injustice is finally remedied. Gay people finally get equal rights in the United States, and you immediately start hearing about how they want "special" rights. Once women en masse start finally speaking up about sexual assault and harassment, the reaction is how it is going to end up destroying the lives of men, presumably because they can no longer act like neanderthals without suffering consequences. A GOP congressman who was beaten for re-election in Minnesota last week once lamented on his radio show that he was upset he couldn't call women sluts anymore without suffering a backlash. I mean, that is really a hell of a hill to die on. So much of this anti-PC backlash is just people who liked acting like assholes not being able to do so anymore without actually being called an asshole. You can slap whatever lipstick you like on it. It's usually disguised as "trolling" or sticking up for "free speech", but back in my day, we just called it what it was. And I'm not that old.

We kinda do know, because people have already attempted to dig into a Pence/Russia connection and only came up with his brother's company doing business with the Russian government and like 80 other countries.

What type of relation would Pence be able to muster with a foreign government that would not have been severely scrutinized as governor of a state? Before he was in politics, he was a local news radio host, very grassroots unlike everyone else caught up in the probe.

You are painting him guilty by association only.

Shit, cops and courts don't much take ACTUAL cases of sexual assault seriously, much less something like this. Worrying about this scenario is like worrying a dragon is going swoop down and grab your car while you are driving tomorrow.

Why women receive less CPR from bystanders

If this is true this is sheer idiocy, not a rational fear. Are we seriously suggesting a woman suffering cardiac arrest is going to, weeks or months after surviving because some guy performed CPR on her, going to turn around and charge him with assault?? If these men actually believe that, I think we needed smarter and less paranoid people learning CPR. And who the hell weighs that kind of consideration in their head in a life or death situation?? You are assuming that the chances of false accusations are low. And you don't need to be formely accused in court and judged to have your life ruined. An single FB post can turn your life into a living hell.

About people not taking accusation seriously, why not talk about the International Monetary Fund who had his political carer ruined, lost his job and was forced to walk under heavily vigilance by a false accusation? And the woman provided NO evidence.

PS : I agree that is a paranoia but this article only shows how paranoic people are.

Right, it's the story of the Christian who's beating gays with a stick. When you try to take his stick away, he cries "oppression!"

Would all those bakers not wanting to bake cakes for gay couples also not want to make them for mixed race couples? Would they be able to get away with that? No? So why are they allowed to get away with it for not making them for gay couples? What's the problem? You're baking a cake for them, not getting married to them!

I hope none of the people who objected to the migrants coming to this country put up a nativity scene and/or creche, because they'd be hypocrites.

Yeah, everyone, take a look! THIS is what people think any woman would do, given some amount of money. IF she WAS paid, there is NO amount of money that would compensate for this crap. No amount of money AT ALL.

Take a look at a useless bureaucrat...

Japan's cyber security minister admits never having used computer

    https://japantoday.com/category/politics/Japan's-cyber-security-minister-admits-never-having-used-computer?
Like appointing someone completely deaf to judge an orchestral music concert!

And now, Trump is back in the news...

Trump's mood takes a foul turn: 'He's pissed -- at damn near everyone'

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/14/politics/donald-trump-mood-pissed-white-house-intrigue/index.html?fbclid=IwAR3ZLw5Yt9zhj3Rj4447MjJEXjKULQAzYsZ1-TC7vnAooDBPGcV2pSHPy4Q

He's fuming and feels backed into a corner. This is a man who feels like he has to feel like he's the best, loved and looking good. He metaphorically shat his pants and he's looking to blame everyone else but himself.

Obviously he's definitely got a lot of obstruction of justice evidence already with the firing of Comey and Sessions both being blatant attempts at obstruction of justice.

    https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/mystery-robert-mueller-opponent-previously-thought-to-be-trump-files-lengthy-sealed-document/

Mystery Robert Mueller Opponent Previously Thought to Be Trump Files Lengthy Sealed Document

Pence will be unscathed after everything is said and done. If it isn't Trump fighting the subpoena, it's probably Jared.
    @deltago

    I dunno.

His whole defense of "garsh I had no idea!" is probably 'hogwash'.

Remember, Manafort was the one that hand picked him to be the VP and he's spilling his weasley guts (along with millions of dollars) to the special counsel. Would not be surprised if he had some evidence implicating Mike Pence... What will mother say?

Pence was chosen to get the highly religious right wing on board with Trump.

Just because Manafort was doing his job in making sure the best VP candidate was secured. Trump still had to get elected and Manafort knew (much like a shit load of other people) that Pence was the better choice over Christie. The one thing the Republicans didn't want was another Palin, which they probably would have had with Christie.
Christie would not have added anything they did not already have on the ticket. Trump was already the Palin this time around.

Was Manafort picking a religious guy or a corrupt religious guy? We don't know yet. We do know Manafort is a criminal.

He is not guilty, in a legal sense, of anything - yet - as far as I know. Mueller has more evidence than is available to the public.

I am saying Manafort has provided evidence to Mueller. There could very well be something there on Pence. There is someone very important who is fighting a Mueller subpoena. It could be Pence.

It's speculation based on what we know. We'll see what happens.

Again, you are assuming WITHOUT EVIDENCE that the chances of getting wrongly accused are very low, but are not.

See this article That ‘Only 2 to 8 Percent of Rape Accusations Are False’ Stat Is Extremely Misleading

However, 44.9 percent cases “did not proceed” – meaning there was insufficient evidence, the accuser was uncooperative, or the incident did not meet the legal standard of assault. An additional 13.9 percent of cases could not be categorized due to lack of information. That leaves 35.3 percent of cases that led to formal charges or discipline against the accused.

    https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/how-common-are-false-rape-charges-really-jason-richwine/

About special rights, equal rights and two different things.
    - Marriage on state = equal rights
    - Force the church to marry you = privilege

About not being able to call woman "sluts", woman can call man everything bad without any backlash. When a politician was insulted/accused of being a rapist and replied with "you don't deserve it", it becomed an international news but nobody talks that she insulted he first. This shows how the modern world works. An woman can insult you, accuse you but you can't even reply because how dare a evil oppressor reply to the noble perfect savior?

It becomes an issue once all bakers in town introduce this policy. Which was not unusual for certain business in the past.

In addition, it becomes an issue if it becomes good business. Which is the case if enough non-minority people start boycotting the business for serving the minority.

All I can point out is that your example is highly flawed.

No, it is *not* flawed. I know from firsthand experience that it is not flawed because I have lived that life. I don't recommend it.

My hypothetical example might be incomplete because it did not include instances of medical expenses or car repairs, but no model can account for everything. What if that couple does *not* get sick? In that instance, medical expenses are zero and insurance was not needed. However, let us not get into "what if" scenarios. You don't *need* medical insurance to live--you won't die if you don't have it.

Compared to 2017, vaping is up 78% among high school students and up 48% among middle school (!) students so far this year. You can't read cigarette ads in magazines or newspapers (do people still read magazines and newspapers? I mean, people other than hipsters) and you cannot hear or see advertisements on the radio or TV for them, but I know you can hear advertisements about Juul products on the radio because I heard one last night. The FDA wants to increase its regulation of, and policies against, e-cig products.

Why women receive less CPR from bystanders

    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/11/181105105453.htm

Remember. This is not the superultrahipermaximusextremeantifeministaltright.blogspot.com, is an academic study showing that man are avoiding to save woman due the fear of being considered an "molester".

The type of person who would say "I'd save this woman's life, if only I wasn't scared of the .01% chance she will accuse me sexual assault" is the type of person who likely wasn't going to take the initiative to do so in the first place.

Right, it's the story of the Christian who's beating gays with a stick. When you try to take his stick away, he cries "oppression!"
"How dare the gays not want to be beaten! They're asking for 'special rights'!"

Would all those bakers not wanting to bake cakes for gay couples also not want to make them for mixed race couples? Would they be able to get away with that? No?
Actually, yes. They should be allowed to serve whoever they want. It's bad business, but that's their problem, not the Government's.
EXCEPT your country already tried that and it led to segregation.

It’s the same thing as placing a sign in a window saying “No Colors Allowed.”

Iscolating a minority won’t affect a bottom line too much. They can still live with the current business that they are getting. It is only bad business if there is society deems it unacceptable. Once again, parts of American society have a hard time accepting people’s differences.

These sort of emboldened racists make me sick. There is no "master race". If you think that, the only thing you are a master of is idiocy.

This is 100% true. I myself STILL find myself (in other places) about to use the word "pussy" or "bitch" to describe a male who is showing cowardice or lack of conviction. And both insults by default portray females in a negative light, or it wouldn't even BE an insult. I know how problematic the insinuation is, yet still have to actively stop myself from saying them at times. It's incredibly ingrained.
