    Really impressive!
Which parts of Endless BG1 would be incompatible with the BH SoD part?
Also do you think Jastey's Road to Discovery and another Fine Hell would work with your mod too?

. I decided to use Reflections Of Destiny and Black Pits.
What is the point to have both Black Hearts and Black Pits in the same game ? They both add the Black Pits fights in the BG campaign. Isn't it weird to have to do the same fights twice each time ?

Actually it's not. I've had both installed together. Black Hearts does such a good job of repurposing these fights that playing Black Pits alongside doesn't feel repetitive.

Well, one of the new questlines actually expands into the Bhaal Temple in SoD (I added a second level of it) so that's a big one haha. Plus new areas actually physically placed up in that SoD map area that I'd have to kinda reconfigure. There's a way to do it, it'd just make a bit of extra work.

That is such exciting news! I still never actually managed to play SoD (I know, I know...) so this would be such a motivational delight to have.

After I finished up in the sewers of Baldur's Gate city, I had a sit down with Ilesera and then she left to make preparations for the next stage of the mod. When I went back downstairs at the Elfsong tavern, a extra copy of Nerys spawned and Illesara spawned which shouldn't have happened.

The temple in the Undercity? The Endless BG1 component for it is optional, so a warning in the readme could be enough maybe?

    Seems really intriguing. 😊

No, there's a Bhaal temple taken over by a Cyric cult mid-way through SoD.

I know, but Endless BG1 doesn't affect it?

So, the second copy of Nerys was actually accompanied by a spawn of Illesara in the bottom floor of the Elfsong tavern. Talking to her causes her to speak her lines that she should speak when you run into her in the under cellar. If you look at my last screenshot there is a blue character circle on the right side of the screen and the character is hidden by the wall. That's Illasera, standing on the staircase. After we had our conversation upstairs these two spawned on the bottom floor so it must have been triggered by something faulty at this transition point.

Outside of the extra spawn of Nerys and Illesara in the Elfsong tavern, everything has continued normally. I'm starting to think that it may actually be a bug with the latest version of Black Hearts because Black Pits, Loretakers and Gorgan's eye have all played normally without issue.

When I went down into the under cellar Illesara showed up and helped me deal with the assassins and everything is continuing as normal. Here is one more grammar correction.

Reply option number 3: the word "about" should be replaced with the word "out".

When you first enter Cherise's domain you are attacked by two trolls and a few slimes. The slimes automatically die, similar to the previous bug with the necromancer's skeletons in the mines.

Well, that is it from me this time. I ran into a few oddities this time through the mod that I didn't run into in previous runs of the game but I do believe they are problems with version 2.2 of Black Hearts. The issue with the slimes is the same as the issue with the skeletons that were both new bugs introduced on this version. The odd issue where Illasera tried to join my party when I first entered Baldur's gate has been around for a while but it only happens sometimes it seems. This problem predates ROD so I don't think ROD has anything to do with the issues I've reported this time. The spawn of Illasara and extra spawn of Nerys after our conversation on the top floor of the Elfsong tavern was a new one for me and it could cause players who don't know any better to keep pushing forward way before they are ready and the talk about the under cellar wouldn't make sense if accessed through the Elfsong tavern. I wish you luck with your future mods and will give them a shot when they become available. Thanks again for this great mod and I'll test the 2.3 version whenever that one comes out.

Thanks for being so thorough with reporting and I hope you enjoyed it still despite the issues you found! I'm hard at work on the SOD portion with my hope to release it this month. I'll investigate these issues before I do the big update.

JohnBob just found the problem with the Slimes (BP in BG caused an issue) so that's getting fixed.

He couldn't find the problem of the extra Nerys spawn though. If anyone has that issue and posts their weidu logs, maybe we can figure out what might be causing that problem.

    Great news !
By the way, since someone asked me about this sometimes ago, if you want you can of course include my higher resolution portraits for Illasera as an alternative.

After I had the big conversation on the second floor of the elfsong tavern, I went downstairs and didn't notice anything out of order but then again, I wasn't expecting anything so who knows. I saved the game and quit. When I loaded the save the next day I immediately noticed two Nerys and the following day I noticed a spawn of Illasera hidden behind a wall on the staircase. I'm not sure what could be to blame. I spoke with subtledoctor and he said ROD is totally separate and shouldn't interfere. When I asked if it should be installed before or after Black hearts, he said it shouldn't matter. I've used the same mod setup and mod order since I started testing Black Hearts so ROD and BP are the only ones that could have shaken things up for me.

As for Black Pits, this will be the last time I use that mod. It's a good mod and the characters and environments are different enough that it doesn't feel like a clone of Black Hearts but essentially the challenge is the same and it just feel redundant when installed with Black Hearts. My biggest issue with it is that you need to earn money and have cool items to buy in order to break up the fights but by the end of the mod you have too much OP gear and I don't like the game balance. Gorgan's eye is well balanced until the final act where the black market opens up and some of the craftable gear becomes available. I don't buy more than 1 of the stun potions and I refuse to buy tomes from the second tier or higher but otherwise the mod is great. Black hearts is great and so is all of Acifier's mods. I'm a bit of stickler when it comes to OP items and XP because my mod install is getting very large and hard to manage. Hopefully the problem has something to do with BP so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

An alpha for EE fix pack and a new version of EET was released this week plus the throne of the mad god and a major update for call of the lost goddess so I'll probably do a new install and work my way through this again in the near future.
