List of kits able to start at LoB difficulty with regular (not cheesy) tactics

A newly created character should be able to beat, at least, weakest creatures in a regular way. 😉
First test: try to win the battle with Shank (Candlekeep, Priest's Quarters) without external help from guards! 😜 N.B. That Shank, improved by LoB, easily beats a shapeshifter's werewolf.

1) Berserker with maximal stats. Tactics: rage + straightforward melee:

2) Bounty Hunter. Tactics: extensive usage of traps:

3) Lawful Evil Mage/Sorcerer. Tactics: polymorphing the familiar into Mustard Jelly:

4) Shaman. Tactics: Entangle (to fix enemies) + Shamanic dance! 👯‍♀️

5) Totemic druid. Tactics: summon a Spirit Animal. 👻

A cleric works just fine against humanoid enemies once they reach level 3. Just paralyze the enemies with Hold Person and attack them until they die.

Thanks! 👍 Indeed, efficient tactics, but starting from level 3. 😎

Usually, when I play LoB, I use the option that makes enemies give extra experience (spending 10 minutes killing a kobold and getting 7 experience for it is pretty lame). Killing the cows in Candlekeep, Beregost, and the Friendly Arm Inn gives enough experience for a few level ups.

@OlvynChuru Damn, it's bad to kill innocent cows! 😼
