Pretty great stuff! I did not know about most of those and it was really interesting :)

By the way, Mike Sass also drew portraits for BGII; he just adapted to the style and general aesthetic of the second game, which was a significant departure from the first’s.

There are always small things I discover over the years.

For instance, Arkanis chasing me down. I am actually faster thanks to haste and
boots of speed, but when I enter buildings, it gets difficult to avoid his insta-kill
    strike.

And sometimes I discover easier ways to obtain items. For instance, in the
Trademeet area, you can steal a flask from a djinni. But I discovered that
killing the djinni and taking the flask is faster and easier. And I can still (!)
solve the quest, e. g. when I have the head of the guy the djinnis want,
I kill the djinni outside, then talk to the main djinni and the quest is
solved. The other djinn turns hostile but teleports out soon enough. This
may not be the proper, in-game clean solution of course, but it is easier
than to rely on a pickpocket with high skills (Aura NPC usually has too few
skill ranks in pick pocket at that point in time, if I have her dual class
artificer/mage; she usually replaces Jan these days when I do another
    run through).
