    Any way to install this mod in Linux? I wanna re play BG 1 + 2 + ToB with this mod. Other question. Is importing char from BG1 to BG2 fixed?

    The mod is extremely amazing. I did a run of BG1 + BG2 SoA but when I reach ToB, the game crashes...

    The mage/theif kit NightBlade isn't getting the shadow spells dialog to select spells at the start of the game or level up in BG1 Also eating ebonfruit gives the dialog of Invalid: 35539 instead of the effect it bestows.

    Do shadow spells have a haste analog? If not, I request speed of darkness be added which acts as haste but without the fatigue.

    Greetings, Artisan/AionZ!

    I'm part of a team updating the mod More Style for Mages (MSFM) to EET. This mod includes items to change a Mage's kit to any specialty (Abjurer, Transmuter, etc.) and there's been fan demand to add kit-changing functionality to allow Mages to become Shadow Adepts, Sorcerers to become Shadow Disciples, and Bards to become Warlocks. We also have Staves of Wizardry that grant bonuses to the wielder based on their specialization that allow the user to cast certain thematic spells a small number of times per day and grant some thematic passive abilities.

    If the appropriate mods are installed before MSFM, may we include these as cross-mod content with your mods? Note that MSFM would not alter content from your mods if present. I ask here and now because other means of asking you directly and privately have been blocked to me. Argent77 has already granted permission for cross-mod with his Chaos Sorcerer kit for MSFM.

    I have the stats proposed in a Google doc, but I'd rather talk with you 1:1 about this.

    Thank you, @%20TheArtisan. It is a great mod. Will there be an update? It does not seem to work when moving from SoA to ToB.

    Something I've noticed is that all the new items only seem to work with the Shadow Adept (Shadow Wizard), not the Shadow Disciple (Shadow Sorcerer).

    Anyone else have the same issue?

    If so, is there anything I can do to correct this? I have Nearinfinity but I'm not very familiar with it and don't know how to tweak the items to work with the Disciple as well as the Adept.

    Note that Ascalon's Quest Pack has an ogre that shares a cave with a Shadow Magic caster if each of them is installed. This isn't a bug, but perhaps an amusing oddity.

    Just started playing with this mod and already found bug. Shadow missile does 1d2 +1 damage missile instead of 1d4 + 2. Dont know how this gone unnoticed, its like first spell you take... Now i probably need to uninstall this mod and reinstall everything else i installed after it, because who know what bugs may be there if something like this gets overlooked. BG's modding is slow, hours wasted on installation.

    EDIT: Problem solved by ensuring EET End is correctly installed. That's new!

    And we already have our first bug report for 3.0.1 on this thread! I'm on WIndows 10 and game version 2.6.6 with EET 13.4.

    On EET, when making a new level 1 Mage (Shadow Adept) or Sorcerer (Shadow Disciple) character for the BG1 campaign or the Tutorial campaign, I can only choose from the standard Sor/Wiz spell list. At level time, the Shadow Disciple can only learn spells from the standard Sorcerer list. Black Pits 1 also starts characters at level 1 but I can choose shadow spells as expected.

    The Shadow Adept has an extra problem: Trying to cast a non-Shadow spell doesn't work (or at least armor didn't work) and removes all non-Shadow spells from his repertoire!

    Nightsinger Bards made in BG1 & the Tutorial have the problem of learning scrolls of the standard Bard spell list.

    Normal casters seem to work properly.

    Hi guys! I was thinking to install a couple mods made by Artisan and found out that when I’m ready to move mod files to the game folder, there is .gitignore file. Infinity++ mod also have .gitignore file and if I will move Artisan’s mod files, the initial gitignore file from Infinity Ui will be replaced. Is it Ok to proceed like this? Thanks for your advise.

    Yes, thoses are Github files not need by the mods.
    I don't think Infinity UI is compatible with Shadow Magic by the way.

    I think I remember installing Warlock and components of Tome and Blood that used the same interface additions as Shadow Magic. That said, that's with the v2 versions of the mod. The mod has been updated to v3 in Github, but I don't know what changes if any have been on that front.

    Hi, Kensei. Would you mind to attach your Weidu.log? I have the exact same issue and I am trying to find if it's related to issue with other mods (it happened in an install with several other kit mods).

    Just in case, you did see that Endarine's problem was solved with this :
    "EDIT: Problem solved by ensuring EET End is correctly installed. That's new!"

    I'm using Lefreut UI with Shadow Magic without problem.

    It must be Dragonspear UI++ only then. I tried it for BG1EE with and without the custom UI.

    The Problem is in the latest Versions of Artisans own Kitpack. I switched back to an old one, 4.1 I think, and it worked fine. Can‘t figure out wich component exactly caused this error, but it‘s the Kitpack for sure.

    In what order are you installing it? In a big mod list, with the last version of first Shadow Magic and later Artisan's Kitpack I'm having no bigger issue than install warnings.

    Artisans Kitpack first. It might work vice versa, but the error occured with other mods aswell.

    Can confirm what connelly said: installing Shadow Magic earlier than Artisan's Kitpack fix the problem. Ideally, from my understanding, the kitpack should go late respect to other kits mods.

    I install mods that introduce whole new classes like Shadow Magic or Warlock real soon, under the assumption that other mods will want to look at what's already installed and that's harder if the class isn't there already, even if unmodded. I only install cleric mods after Artisan's Kitpack. The only exceptions are Will to Power and Workshop Kitpack, those need to go late after everything else, only before Faith's and Powers' Multiclass components, and then Artisan's Trickster mimic component on the top.

    Just so you get an idea, this is what my (probably wrong in places) install order would look if I installed all kit mods, with SM and AK marked in bold. It's basically goes like: New (kitlist independent) > rogue > mage > warrior > cleric > New (kitlist dependent) > multiclass generation

    Has anyone used the latest Shadow Magic Update (3.0.1.) and the custom Dragonspear UI++ together properly and without issues?
