This behavior is possible if a mod contains malformed text letters. But, Ascalon's Questpack has been installed and tested for a long time now, so I'd be (negatively) surprised if there were wrongly formatted texts inside.

I had a problem with Serpents of Abbathor like others here. There was no warehouse key. Since you SHOULD have it by the time you need to enter that warehouse, here's the simplest solution. Just use console command C:CreateItem("ACQKEY02").

@Emardon_Lareous there is a dead quest end in the current version if you anger Draglon in the Undercellar before taking on Wostok's request to kill Draglon. For other combinations the quest should be finishable. What was your quest path until you angered Draglon? The assassin attack in front of the Blushing Mermaid happens always after Draglon disappears and has nothing to do with the warehouse key. Depending on the quest status, you should be able to go to Wostok in the temple after that to proceed with the quest. (Unless you didn't meet Wostok yet, then you hit a dead end because Wostok will send you after Draglon who is now gone - will be fixed in the next mod version.)

Maybe it conflicts with "Shades of the Sword Coast" and/or the Tweaks Anthology, but i talked first with Draglon, then i talked with the priest of Helm, then i met Wostok in the sewers; after all these steps my journal entry says to meet Wostok at the temple but only the priest is here. I've downloaded from github version 5.2, so it should be the last i think... Anyway it's not a big deal, and thank you for both the mod (very enjoyable) and the reply.

Ascalon's Questpack updates to v6.0 with fixes and a Simplified Chinese version by huma628-design and Yoshimo0417!

-"A Feast for the Gnolls": Killing the ghost will lead to a quest conclusion; revised the ghosts dialogue if she is talked to more than once.
-"A Home for the Gibberlings": more than 18 furs can be handed in (failsave in case of cheated furs), changed the mentioned number of Gibberlings from 20 to 18 in some languages.
-Crossmod-Compatibility with BG1NPC: prevent Dynaheir from complaining about robbing a house if it's Tonder's chest (House 9 in Beregost)

I enjoyed this mod! Several interesting ideas and it was quite nice to fight some dwarves for once :-)
I encountered the following issues:
- no drop of the warehouse key
- no drop of Emerson's notes in the mines
- the umber hulks in the mines turned hostile when I approached them but they didn't attack or use their confusion ability.
The notes should be dropped by a hostile cleric in the first level of the mines, at [2077.1941]. I don't see anything in the script why it wouldn't work.

They have all the needed scripts assigned, so no idea what glitched there in your game.
