Why would an elven sorcerer stay naked? You should replace him with a gnome thief/illusionist and use a pure dwarven cleric instead (nothing wrong with naked dwarves in the snow). Oh and use a vanilla bard. Skald has weaker songs due to frosty temperatures.
Skalds buff AC from level 1. A helpful feature for such a party.
AC? The idea in IWD1 is to kill the enemy fast. Vanilla bard nets you bonus to combat from the start and later on you Tymora's luck song, which basically means free luck spell and 50% increase in your chances for a critical. Later you get to Sith song which grants AC, STs and regeneration. Skald can't possibly top that.

No, the idea is to the enemy faster than they kill you. Vanilla bards are certainly better after level 11, but that isn't much use if you get slaughtered by goblins at level 1.
If a party gets slaughtered by a goblins at level 1, they had it coming. Regardless on your AC, your party is going to get hit. Killing the enemies before they wound you is paramount.

You playing HoF by any chance?
Under core rules, those goblins have a thac0 of 20. Which means they only have a 5% chance to hit a tank in platemail with a dex of 18. Skald song won't change that. However, the Kensai has an AC 4. That means they have a 20% chance of getting hit. A skald would halve that, and thus is equivalent to 50% damage reduction. Since they can't use ranged weapons it is unlikely that they can avoid drawing some aggro, even with the Shapeshifter as main tank.
In fact i want to play a theme party and classes i've never played. 5 class are naked, they can't wear armor, so ...
My first party were too easy : dwarven defender, berzerker, cavalier, fighter/thief, cleric/mage and archer. Really too easy, even in HoF mode.
I think the skald is better for the first run, his song is great at the begginning, the basic bard need to have some decent level to be better (lv 11) The skald as +1 attack rolls and +1 damage with all weapons, he will do good with a longbow when the fights are easy.

The skald as +1 attack rolls and +1 damage with all weapons, he will do good with a longbow when the fights are easy. Because sorcerer cannot wear armor. I think i will be tempted to equip him with a robe.
The gnome cleric/thief will have one.
And it will be the only male...
The goblins are not a prob, neither the orc cave.
In the valley, the song helps against the yetis.
The real test i think is in Kresselack tomb.
