  I read some of the community reviews. Really? "It isn't even Skyrim"??? At that point I was like "Different type of game all together". But ah well.

  I played Skyrim for all of 3 months and haven't touched it since. It no longer wastes space on my hard drive. The Elder Scrolls peaked with Morrowind, IMO. I've been playing IE games for about 16 years and still going strong. So in a way, I guess this is true

  Oblivion was still pretty awesome but I agree that Skyrim never had the same feel to it, I can't put my finger on what was wrong but something was missing.

  To correct what might be a misapprehension about my statement above, I was not disparaging Skyrim, but was rather saying that they are VERY different game types. While both "RPGs" more or less, they are about as dissimilar as two games can be. BG/IWD is squad based, isometric, tactical combat in an RPG arena. Skyrim (and all of the Elder Scrolls games) are more 1 person 3rd Person open world sandbox exploration. They are HUGELY different in my view. It's like comparing baseball to football. They are both sports, but bare very little resemblance to each other (don't delve too deeply into this analogy).

  I'm still playing Skyrim! I love the open feel of the world when it comes to exploration, but the quests stink something nasty. Very one dimensional responses. At least IWD does try the good, neutral, bad options even if the outcome is the same.
