My apologies for neglecting this thread for so long *hangs head in shame*. I can't set up scheduled posts here (or can I ... can anyone tell me?) so when I'm not to well, or ver busy I get further and further behind here.
D&D 5th edition is well and truly here, so we have to find something to do with all our 4th edition books. So I’ve biult a collection of images of females in nonsexualised armor. (Thanks to all who leant me their books to make this collection)
Despite the persistent double standard in D&D art, not all females are depicted with plunging necklines, bare midriffs, leather lingerie, chain mail bikinis etc. In most books there are a few images of females wearing armor meant for protection, not for seduction, so let’s highlight and celebrate D&D 4th ed ladies who are truly dressed to kill.

Many, many thanks to @LadyRhian for the great sets. The new art by Yama Orce, THEDURRRRRIAN and dashinvaine really rock. I've got a shedload of upldate posts coming up soon. I also love the one by R Massarani - the style of painting somehow really appeals to me.
@SharGuidesMyHand I like the way the lady warrior rescues the party when they're frozen - yay for women who rescue themselves and the knights, instead of waiting to be rescued. Sadly I don't like the leather and/or metal swimwear all the ladies are wearing.
@LadyRhian God don't you just HATE those keyholes. And how many thumbnails don't show them so you get all excited till you oopen the full size pic ... sigh .....

Thanks muchly @LadyRhian. I really love LeKsoTiger's sheild maiden. Just a qucik query - does that gorgeous mane make the lion female or male? Unfortunately the original artist has de-activated their account so I can't check it out for an answer to the mae question, and more art.

Andarra sounds female to me, but I could be wrong.
