See, it's reasons like this why I want them to externalize the button configuration. Let a thief kit cast some wizard spells. Let a bard kit search for traps, etc.

Externalising the button Config would be HUGE. A proper game changer (please excuse my terrible pun).

How will SoD interact with mods? Will it override the changes made by mods, or will nothing really happen?

So basicly, I can't continue with my current game straight into SoD? A pity, I was saving the endbattle...

Isn't it viable to use a "power point" system?

    Will "power score" be implemented?

Instead of draining CON (and assuming a "no" for the first question) why don't use a sorcerer/shaman similar system?

How exactly are you guys going to limit the Science, Discipline and Devotion?

Thanks, I'll play that final battle then. Will you need to update your mods for 2.0? I can't imagine playing without them...

    Thanks, that's an excellent service!

Sorry to be suspicious about it, but if I do these steps, I assume I won't have a problem playing with my current character in SoD:

    1. Finish end battle in BG:EE.
    2. Export character.
    3. Uninstall BG:EE and removing all folders, barring saves, portraits.
    4. Re-install, apply patch.
    5. Re-install mods as wanted.
    6. Play SoD?

Well, I played as a Bard - Blade with your mod, and I used the BGII Tweaks patch and the Rogues Rebalanced. That's it. My Bard is definitely not using mod-added items.

Crossing my fingers. Worst case, I recreate the character.

I totally dig this! Some questions, though:
    1) They can wear Elven Chain, right?
    2) Which weapons can they specialise in? Is "specialise" used as a general word, or as in "go to 2 stars"?
    3) Which Druid spells?
    4) What is Refinements HLA?

So, as a Thief/Mage would they get the Ranger Stronghold in BG2?

Weren't two star Rangers limited to Ranger/Clerics with Druid spells enabled? Otherwise, limiting Rangers to two starts seems overly harsh... (Not talking about Ranger/Mages, two is enough for those, probably.)

@subtledoctor , you probably are already aware of this issue, but I wanted to report the problem just in case. I just tried to install Might and Guile 2.2 on a clean BGEE 2.0 install and received installation errors on all the kits. The other components installed fine, but what got errors was: Revised Kensai, Revised Shadowdancer, Add the Corsair, Add the Marksman, Add the Elven Archer, Add the Halfling Slinger, Add the Barbarian Ranger, Add the Sniper, Add the Scout and revise the Swashbuckler, Add the Jongleur, Add the Loremaster, Add the Gallant, Add the Meistersinger, Add the Loresinger, and Add Multiclass Kits.

Just before trying to install Might and Guile, I tried to install Tome and Blood and the kit components came back with errors as well. Aquadrizzt said he suspected this would happen to the kits and believes a new WeiDU update will hopefully fix the problem.

Again, you probably are already on top of all this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to confirm suspicions.

EDIT: I know this isn't the official thread, but as long as I'm trying to install all my favorite mods, I just wanted to say that the latest version of Scales of Balance installs all of the components correctly EXCEPT "WPO part 3 - dual-class restrictions". It gives the following message...

    ERROR: Failure("cannot set column-wise to 255TWEAP.2DA")

This was the same error message I received when trying to install Tome and Blood kits.

Think I've encountered a bug: I'm playing in IWDEE and created an Elven Archer. When I hit lvl 3, I get another weapon proficiency point, but I cannot put a point to Bows. When I hit the "+" to add a point to Bows, nothing happens. I can add points to the other weapon categories, and I was able to add a point to Bows initially when creating the character.

@subtledoctor , sorry about not posting the bug in the right thread. I should've mentioned my mod order in the last post as well: More Style for Mages, Tome and Blood, Might and Guile, Faith and Powers beta, and Scales of Balance installed in that order.

Thanks for the quick fix, though.
