Here is a screen that could use some improvement but I don't know if it's possible. Perhaps it shares the same background as other areas? In any case, the buttons and text overlap some of the fancy textures and it would be nice if something unique could be done with the "0". This is not an important screen but maybe something to think about for some time... or maybe not :P
I can't even keep count of how many tweaks, adjustments, & fixes I've made. Excited to get this new version (maybe BETA 6.5?) out to you guys as soon as the new update drops.
@Archaic - I did not play using Your GUI yet to be honest, but I'm really (I mean REALLY) amazed what You'd accomplish here. All screens are brilliant, font is eye candy and every detail seems right were it should be.
Due to my time limitations, I'm waiting with my next playthrough (with Your GUI of course) for release of Mordeus & Requiem badass kit/spell mod and BG1NPC Project at least. Without all these 3 mods even Enhanced Edition seems incomplete to me. These several mods released so far are quite appealing I must admit, but there are still few that I sorely miss.
And there's incoming patch of course. Hope it will cover all remaining bugs (not that I've encounter many of these on my only playthrough - but still I want my game as bugless as possible).
Anyway, Archaic GUI is must-be on my next run and I think it will be the first time when I will actually enjoy all these little GUI details rather than just focusing on main game window. Cause it's just so....beautiful:)
I do realize that it could be premature question, but what are Your future plans for this GUI? You know it's still BETA and it's only 0.6:) AFAIK You still have one or two screens to make, but on what will You focus after that? Do You plan more tweaks/options? Or do You plan to make another graphics overhaul mod (not necessarily GUI related)?
I'm asking cause I really would like to see some more of Your work, not that just this lovely GUI.
Anyway You'll have my full support, even if it's not material one.
@Cahir - It sure is nice to hear that you consider my mod a must-be on your next play through. I plan to continue to support this mod as long as needed. I have no idea how long it's going to take to completely finish it to my satisfaction. As far as future plans go...I plan on making sure this mod is compatible with BG2EE. I'm open to other projects once AG is complete. Hopefully we'll see a BG3 down the road. I would love to see what kind of GUI they come up with. Thanks for the awesome feedback. All smiles! ☻
@Balquo - Here is a quick fix for the remove party members screen. Do you know what the number zero is there for (as seen on your previous screenshot)? I removed it because I couldn't figure out what it was used for. I also found 2 bugs that I will be reporting later.
@Archaic Is that image on inventory screen (the one with pictures of NPC's or this lovely mosaic picture) pickable during installation? There are some choices to made? I love both but I would like to pick a mosaic one if possible on my next run (it's more lively for me).
@Cahir - Yes, you can customize your "Archaic Custom Inventory" screen with header art. There are currently 14 choices to choose from in the next release.
I took out some time to get the options screens (gameplay, sound, graphics, etc.) all nice and tidy. Rearranged a bunch of elements and made them look much cleaner. I've also got the new scroll bar implemented into all of the screens and reverted all message boxes back to their default font for full comparability with international languages.
After all of these tweaks and adjustments I've been doing lately I still have over two notebook pages of things that need to be worked on.
@Luigirules - I guess I'll have to make another BG NPC header art and include the missing ones.
maybe you should make npc headers for good, neutral, and evil. and to fill in space put in neutrals who have a personality more toward those alignments? like if you need more good u could add jaheira or some other neutral who you think would fit?
AG *NEW* Journal Screen Preview: Unfortunately, I won't be rolling out this journal design until the issues with modding the journal are resolved. The quests screen is all out of whack when you attempt to mod it. How the journal screen is setup right now is not very mod friendly. I'm going to try and get that changed. Anyways, here is a preview of what I have in the works.

Here is what is previously looked like:
Here is how it is done in vBG1.

But of course it's nothing urgent.
And, of course, I love the bottom text box enhancement! ;D
Could I see a screenshot with another language?
maybe Italian XP
If you have time to do it, of course.
Watch out for @Samus...
