AG Journal - Quests Screen: I was able to get most of the Journal Issues resolved. I had to make one minor compromise with a smaller scroll bar. Other then that I think it turned out well.
This might not have to do with the GUI but I'll put hit here in case it is. Lower the divider line a little bit in the quest journal. So there is a little bit more space between the context text and the next title.
Hello @ammadeus. Welcome to the thread. 2560x1440 was originally planned to be supported in BETA 6.0. However, after further testing I found that the Infinity Engine GUI doesn't support resolutions over 1920 horizontal. I will continue to look into a work around. Thanks for the feedback.
Note: I assume you're referring to non-scaled settings, correct?
I've got the main dialog GUI windows done for multiplayer. Now I'm working on the store screens. I should have a fully compatible multiplayer GUI for the next release.
I tried the latest version on Ipad-2. At first it crashed again, but then I remembered the BGEE:gui file you seperately posted and I swapped it and it works.
What I did:I downloaded manual install 6.01. Put core gui files, arc font files, inventory fantasy files, and swapped the BG:EE.gui file with the unedited file you gave link to in previous pages. Then game starts up and works.
Considering I have SCS installed, and many other custom modifications done by me (edited stores, item bams to those of bg2, enemies, spell casting effects to those of iwd series, etc) It works very well, infact. Only a few very minor hiccups.
Sixth party member portrait is overlayed:

On inventory, record and mage book screens, the buttons and portraits are all overlayed, but I can tap them like normal, so no biggie:

There is a very slight delay when I enter shopping and inn menus, like 1 second, but that's all, and it works. No crash so far. Looking excellent! And amazing! Fantastic! Wonderful! :-)
Archaic, just to congrat you for this beautiful work. This is by far the most interresting mod for BGEE ! Will the studio help you to display portrait in other screen like inventories, or enlarge them ( like iwd2 style) ? That would be a must ! Special reward for the all the work to mod all the ingame screens, believe me it is really a incredible achievment ! You really catch the BG series spirit.
@lunar@Archaic Yeah, I think that's the same as the behavior I posted several pages back on the iPad 4.
I think you'll also find that mage paper-dolls are in greyscale (or at least Baeloth and Edwin were).
There was some discussion about scaling issues being at work.
EDIT: Come to think of it, it's a bit odd that the overlap issue would come into play only now but not earlier if scaling was responsible for the current symptoms....
@Archaic Heh, glad to be of help, and to be able to play this wonderful mod. Spoiler tags are done.
Btw, I have come to a realisation, we HAVE to have the custom fonts installed right? I used bigger fonts, by dropping them in the portraits folder. Later, I wanted to see how it would look with regular shaped fonts, and deleted the 3 arcfont. files. This led to a crash at every try. It then dawned on me to put the 'default' arcfont. files into portraits folder, and it works. Without the 'default' fonts, the mod won't work, and crash at every try to load or start a game. Maybe I was being thick, but I did not know that. (It was after a long shift at work so I might have been less than brilliant, but now I know. ^^ Is it specified in any part of read me, just to make it clear?
@Iecerint Tried with a male human mage and elven male mage in the black pits, their inventory paperdolls look normal. Equipped traveler's robe and they still look fine. I've yet to find out if the bug you are having is due to Ipad4, or spesific to those npcs or higher level robe animations. Will chase.

Anyway, your GUI looks great, keep on the good work!
Multiplayer is now fully compatible with AG.

@lecerint - Part of the issue has to due with the larger screens that I've designed and the other part is scaling on the iPad.

Looking forward to the update alongside the new patch, though!
