@lecerint for some reason the engine is reverting the ini to default then. I don'treally know if the IPad version has the ini locked in any way but I've seen this behavior in both Windows and OSX version as well. You change something then it reverts to default for some reason. Maybe you can try to overwrite it with a working ini file from Windows or OSX version?
@mlnevese - Good thought, though I only have the iPad version of BGEE. I think I have a un-EE PC Tutu installation somewhere, but I doubt the ini is compatible.
@Archaic - Same behavior; the ini file reverts back upon closing.
@Archaic I tried copying all the gui files (scaled) into an empty portraits folder on my ipad. Bg crashes upon attempting to start, not even the first screen is seen.
I deleted the capitalised files as @Iecerint suggested, and the game started up. First screen, bg screen, bp screen, load screen all work. When I try to load a game or start a new game, it crashes immediately. I don't know how @Iecerint can make it work and I can't. Maybe Ipad2's memory is just not enough for the awesomeness of this mod, could be a reason it works with bugs on Ipad4 but not at all on 2.
@lunar I didn't try starting a new game, but I had no problems loading a game.
You can put all the capitalized files back and use the BGEE.GUI file Archaic posted a few posts back; it solves the problems. I doubt it's related to the behavior you describe, but it can't hurt to check.
I'm improving the bottom panel buttons by making them all the same color. Instead of some blue and some brown. The same will go for the Bronze and Gold Icon Sets. @Metalloman - I know this was a request of yours and I finally figured it out. It was actually much easier that I had originally thought.
Great news you bring here, @Archaic! Of course I thought that uniforming bottom panel buttons colours could be a good visive improvement and seeing that modification realizable (and easier for you) make me really happy (I'm pretty sure many others would appreciate this change)!
I could use some help tracking down an example of a dialog string that is causing problems with the larger font mod so that I can troubleshoot. If you know of a specific dialog in the game that is an issue please let me know. Thanks.
@Hinageshi - I just check and all 6 download links are working fine. You might be seeing an old cached version of the site. Simply delete your temp internet files or press ctrl and F5 while on the site to do a hard refresh. Then you will see the new download links.
@Kerozevok - All .mos files are being packaged with a pvrz method as the tilesets which DLTCEP has problems reading/extracting. I'm using a different tool then DLTCEP.
@psyact - I just wanted give you a shoutout for your donation & support of Archaic GUI. Sure makes it easier to justify to my girlfriend when I tell her I'm working on my mod instead of spending time with her, haha. Only kidding...she calls modding "nerd stuff" and thinks its "cute". Just like a girl would, haha. Anyways, much appreciated and looking forward to the next release. Thanks again, Logan! ☻
I can't go into any details but the next update will crash AG 6.01. I've been able to resolve all of the crash issues and get 6.01 completely compatible with next update. Unless something drastically changes from the beta version I'm testing I should have a working version of Archaic GUI ready for release shortly after the update comes out. I will also be rolling out various fixes and new features with this release. I don't know when the next update is coming out.

I have to say, it's so nice that you have taken the time to do this, and also that Overhaul has allowed the prominent modders to beta test, and thus have necessary foreknowledge of potential incompatibilities with future patches.
Sorry about the lack of screenshots & updates lately. I've actually been doing a lot of development and improvements to AG. However many of the new features are exclusive to the new BGEE BETA that I'm testing. Therefore, I cannot disclose upcoming features and screenshots until the official update comes out.
I'm really liking the new dialog box + expand/shrink buttons + scrollbar. It's smooth and simple, looks slick. Always amazes me what something as simple as rounded corners can do for the feel of the design.
AG Improved Inventory with International Long Text String Support (bottom dialog box). Added new scroll bar to the ground box & various other small tweaks. (Example: Edwin long text string)

It may be editable on a jailbroken iPad.

Always for the better, Archaic! ;D
Forgot to mention: I've choosen the golden buttons, even if it was a real battle between bronze and gold ones, I like both! ;D
i couldn't download the gui, page not found.
Doesn't work with DLTCEP, NI or winbiff.
Those rounded corners look great, and the two lines of text look even better!
I have absolutely no time to play right now, but I still gave the GUI a try. Awesome job.
Keep up the good work.
Now I'm going to implement this new scroll bar throughout the other screens.
