Complete (?) quest entry buglist v0.4599
This is based on my playtrough. It contains mainly quest entry and quest realted bugs and some other useful things. I didn't checked the "normal" journal problems though there are a lot of them too like inconsistencies, and date problem not to mention the scrolling mechanism. I also wrote some advices
Note: If I wrote "OK" to a quest it doesn't mean I cheked all the possible solutions. I tried to do all the quests but there is always a possibility that I missed some.
Some of the entries in the "quest" section aren't in order. For example in the "Laerta and Louise" the first entry is about Old Gervisse which is illogical since you can't talk him before you talked the girls. And the entry about talking the girls is just the second. Unfortunately I could not write these bugs because most of the quests are gone after they are finished.
Reactivation= quest entries reappear after the quest is already finished. (talking with npcs, hearing rumours etc.) There is much more of this type of bug, but I cannot get all of them.

Tazok and the Bandits: no "done quest" entry, possible reactivation from Kivan or bandit in one of the tents in bandit camp
Winter Wolf Pelts: there is no way to finish (will buy ALL the pelts forever)
Xvart Raids: no "done quest" entry after killing the xvart village, reactivated by the cow-owner whos cow was attacked by xvarts

Aldeth Sashentar: OK (reward?)
Spiders in the Cloakwood: OK
A Hidden Base in the Cloakwood: no "done quest" entry merge with "Flooding the Cloakwood Mine"
Edwin and Dynaheir: look for Rescuing Dynaheir! (no finish/bugged etc.)
advice: what about Coran and the Wyvern quest? No quest entry, possible reactivation! What about talking Kelddath?

A Bard's Request: OK
A Contract Killing: OK
A Corpse for Arkion: should be merged with Arkion and Nemphre, Arkion's Bloodstone Amulet
Alatos and the Thieves' Guild: no "done quest" entry, should be merged with "Niklos's Master"
Algernon's Cloak: OK
Arkion and Nemphre: look for " A Corpse for Arkion"
Arkion's Bloodstone Amulet: look for " A Corpse for Arkion"
Basilisk on the Loose: OK
Brielbara's Baby: OK
Cordyr and the Sirines: OK

Missing Citizens: OK (Scar will accept both of the rings you can find there on the Ogre and on near the corpses. What about other similar rings?)
Narlen's Heist: OK
Petrine's Cat: OK
Quinn's Friend: OK (It's easy to sell the dagger of Nester, or just let it vanish on the ankheg's corpse, should do something about that!)
Shlimes and Oozshes: OK
The Helm of Balduran: OK (If you talked Quenash before the quest she won't give you the Cloak dialog after you have the scroll, Invisible Stalkers in Degrodel's House will be visible if they attack)
The Seven Suns: OK
Tremain's Son: OK (two bodies, mentioned already)
Zombie Infestation: OK
Rasaad: "The Enemies of My Friend" entry remains in the "quest" section
Neera: OK Magreb's diaglog is inconsistent, and no quest entry for that (it's interesting that non-quest related dialogs with Neera will be in the journal while Dorn's in the quest section)
Investigating the Iron Throne: no "done quest" entry
Kagain's Quest:???
Laerta and Louise: "done quest" entry is missing sometimes
Niklos's Master: no "done quest" entry, should be merged with "Alatos and the Thieves' Guild"
Dorn Il-Khan: no "done quest" entry, normal non-quest realted dialogs goes here too (unlike Neera's) If you kill Kryll before speaking with Taris you gonna have a bad time! (Taris remains in the Inn, some point she will just vanish without the dialog with her husband)

Chapter Six:
A Curious Business Proposal: OK (are those runestones good for something?)

Deafness, you can get in black pits during the "gift of the ogre mage" can be permanent (deafness and slow are also unaffected by magic resistance)
Popup scrolls can act funny when the screen becomes black
Theoretical bug (but tested): clerics with high wisdom (19+) and high level (18+) and with a single Ring of Holiness are able to get more than 12 slots, so you can have invisible slots just like with a mage coud with two ring on wizardrys in original BG
Many weapons have bad bonus settings. Try to hit the Rakshasa and see.
Missing wolf paperdoll in wildsurges 47 and 13 (16 and 83 are not tested) zombie ring too
Bad medium shield icon in tutorial
Boo won't squeak in the tutorial (same goes for BG2)

There is no slider in this journal.
Solution:
There should be one.
2nd problem:
When holding down the left mousebutton, you can drag the text upwards or downwards. If you try to scroll up on the page, when you let go of the left mouse button it automatically opens the tab where you can edit journal entries. To avoid it you need to click between journal entries, but it requires some "pixel hunting". This only happens when you want to scroll upwards. When scrolling down it works fine.
Solution:
When scrolling upwards you should be able to click the journal text without the editing-tab opens up.
3rd problem:
Journal entries are shown with newest entries on the top of the page, and oldest on the bottom. You need to scroll to get the latest entries.
Solution:
The journal entries should be sorted from oldest on top, to newest on bottom, or through different sorting options (By name, by oldest, by newest)
Keep in mind the issue with with the "Journal" portion, not the quest log. The Journal is very hard to scroll when there are large text entries on screen. There is almost no where to click to grab, but when you do click to grab it's almost always grabbing text to edit.
A scroll bar and mouse wheel support would fix this issue 100%.
For the 3rd problem, I remember that BG2 allowed you to switch between various sorting methods for the journal, such as newest, oldest, alphabetical, etc. Why was this feature removed?

You can see in your log there is a update but it doens,t appear in your journal.
-Mouse scroll often will not work
-Huge empty areas of "page" above and below journal entries
-Completed quests sometimes do not appear (just blank paper, rebooted the game and they showed up)
-Kagain's Quest is marked "active" even after it's "resolved."
Many quests stay in the Quest section of the Journal, though they are actually done.
Examples from my playthrough so far:
Branwen Rescued -> didn't let her join the party
Edwin and Dynaheir, Prisoner of the Gnolls, Rescuing Dynaheir -> killed Dynaheir with Edwin in my party after initiating a dialogue with her
Madness most fowl -> Encountered Kissiq who talks about the talking chicken after taking Melicamp with me
Prism the Sculptor -> let him finish his sculpture, brought the Emeralds to Oublek
Officer Vai -> Girl told me to visit Vai. She attacked me because of my low reputation
The Tale of Captain Brage -> killed Brage and brought his body to Oublek. Volo's rumor stays in the Journal
Xvart Raids -> wiped out the entire city
Tazok and the Bandits -> killed every group of bandits I met without joining them. Quest stays after the Bandit camp
Expected Behavior: Move finished Quests to the 'Done Quests' section
I believe this was also a bug in the original game, but I may be wrong on both accounts.
In any case, it'd be nice to see this fixed.

On one hand I still have several open quests in my journal related to Minsc's witch
even though I've completed that quest and got my reward from our lovable red wizard ages ago.
On the other hand the new Wiz (Neera was it ?) is on the Jaehira BG2 romance level of broken.
Her journal entries have switched from her quest disapering (without any reason as in me doing it) to her dialogues repeating, regresing to earlier stages or skipping thru to more advanced and then repeating itself to her introductory ones with seemingly no order.
Best parts are when she mentions npc not yet met or virtually unknown to me.. (from her quest line?)
And finally your main pitch is bugfixes and the few actually new pieces of content are riddled with bugs,
I can appreciate its difficult working with someone's decade old code but you're not paradox that you can afford to treat your customers as QA employees.
