Here's mine:

Pearl - Cavalier, Human, Lawful Good
Jeremy - Barbarian, Half-Orc, Lawful Good
Theodore Bloodfury - Fighter, Dwarf, Chaotic Evil
Scarlet - Archer, Elf, Neutral Good
Dorothy - Priest of Helm, Human, Lawful Neutral
Albazar - Illusionist, Gnome, True Neutral


I'd give myself a 3/10 on Naming Creativity and expect to be blown out of the water, if people care enough to post

    Elven Archer using long bow
    Dwarven Fighter Thief with Axes
    Gnomish Cleric Illusionist
    Human Cleric of Lothander

    Haven't played it in a while, but when I beat it my party was:
    Gilroy: Half-Elf Stalker (scimitars)
    Sugan: Dwarf Kensai (Katanas)
    Bjorn: Half-Orc Priest of Talos (war hammer)
    Venthus Windspeaker: Elf Mage (sling)

    I tried soloing with
    Ajax: Human Beastmaster (staff)
    But I died at the hobgoblins.

    I like Scarlet and Albazar a lot, and the others aren't bad. Could be worse, could have named your character Conan like I named one of my early fighters in BG Vanilla...

    Zeno Sparkledust, Gnome Cleric/illusionist
    Stannis, Human Paladin, great weapon
    Grimnar Oakenshield, Dwarf Cleric, mace/shield style.
    Shiva, Half-Elf Conjurer

    Baeloth was easy mode! The only real struggle I had was versus the Fire Giant and I was mildly annoyed when I first met the Flesh Golems that required magical weapon +3.

    They work surprisingly well together, though the Archer's Thaco and damage is crazy.

    I made my own goody good version of the Dead Three (Bane, Bhaal & Myrkul).

    Guildenstern - Male Human Inquisitor (tank/dispeller/spokesperson)
    Marceline - Female Gnome Illusionist/Cleric (magical support)
    Alduvin - Male Human Archer (ridiculous damage dealer)

    Eventually, I tried to solo using Alduvin only. Archers are truly ridiculous I must say. I was unsuccessful with my solo insane no reload attempt with the said archer, but being OP that he is...I made it to the end, and it was still easier than I expected.

    I think it's something like this (not at home so don't remember names sorry):
    Dwarf barbarian (10), dual battle axes/war hammers
    Inquisitor (10), 2 handed sword, mace and shield or crossbow
    Elf Fighter (8)/Mage (9)/Thief (10), Dual Scimitars or Longbow
    Half-elf Fighter (9)/Druid (11), Dual Scimitar, Sling
    Half-elf Ranger (9)/Cleric (9), Mace, Sling, Flail
    Half-elf Blade (10), Dual Scimitars, Longbow

    I think this is my preferred line up. I had a gnome cleric/illusionist but that is bugged and caps at 8/8 (based on wizard xp) instead of 9/9 (based on cleric xp). I particularly like access to heal and harm among other things on the fighter/Druid. The full access to all divine spells that the ranger/cleric gets is nice, it makes 4 characters have access to stoneskin effect.

    I haven't actually done a play through with this set of characters, rather 2 play throughs and this is the set I have left over after some failed experiments. Id seriously consider adding an archer to the mix though.

    Harm vs fire giant is certainly lol worthy when it lands.

    Sapphira - CN Half-Elf Cleric/Fighter/Magic-User
    -Buffing and crowd control; later, became a potent debuffer, whose crowd controls would brick the enemies. I threw Fighter into the mix for the shiggles.
    Galdania - CE Human Blackguard
    -Dual wields long swords and war hammers; usually piggybacked off of Sapphira's crowd controls, and probably made some sweeping strokes to get through all the mirror images she did...that ended in the mage or other spellcaster always being poisoned. :3

    4 kensai 3-> mages, all dual wielding either katanas or morningstars, 2 cleric/illusionist.
    kinda broke the game even on insane, though fighting as lvl 3 mages (just before getting back fighter levels) was a really damn hard part.
