The second "Armor" is part of "Armor Class"; the phrase continues on the next line. The unsightliness has been reported before, and it should look better after the next patch.
In the Black Pits, the Beholder tells me before the thief fight in tier 2 that I'm about to fight undead enemies and should depend on divine magic. The thieves aren't undead as far as I know, and the only useful cleric spells would be Detect Traps and Detect Invisibility, but they are hardly unique to divine casters. A cleric could not disarm the traps anyway, which is the whole point about the fight; and there are arcane spells that do the same as the divine spell. All in all, it sounds like the text refers to a different battle. All other hints seem to match, or are by far more obvious. So is the Beholder trolling, more cryptic than usual or bugged...?

Sniveling is actually correct - at least when it comes to this game as it uses American spelling.
