Meme Generator is running slow for me so I will just release this in a statement. Please Imagine Peter Griffin in my text You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?
By the time you get Time Stop, half the enemies you want to use it on, are immune to it.
It's funny; I almost never actually use Time Stop because 90% of enemies don't feel like they'd warrant a 9th Level spell, and the ones that do are either immune to it or else would shrug off any offensive spells from my wizard while easily dispatching any summons they could bust out. I could use the time to cast buffs, but I usually have everything I need going into the fight, so why bother with that?
Hehe, I'm a sorcerer! I time stop ALL THE THINGS! I have so many of them.
Imoen: "Oh no! An injured kobold! Meagloth, get him!" Meagloth: casts time stop Meagloth: spell trigger fired Meagloth did 67 damage to Injured Kobold Meagloth did 56 damage to Injured Kobold Meagloth did 38 damage to Injured Kobold Injured Kobold: AIiiiiiieeeeeeee!! Injured Kobold: Death
I wasted so many Contingency:Helpless my first playthrough in TOB that way.
Not a meme but a reference to Baldur's Gate nonetheless. I can't remember who it was that posted here a little bit ago with the Negastaff from NWN1 that referenced the Unseeing Eye in Athkatla's sewers...
...but I've been playing NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer lately, where you are thrust into the wilds of Minsc's homeland, Rashemen. And look what I found:
IIRC DSotSC used to add an item to a squirrel in one of its areas as an easter egg (an ioun stone, I think). I'm not sure if the joke inspired DSotSC, or the mod inspired the joke.
@DJ_Sweatz_2013 you should collect 2-3 at a time and take them to the refuge, then go back and repeat till you have all of them, instead of trying to get them all at once.

My wife replied, along the lines of, you have come here to escape the stresses and strains of the modern world!

I play BG for that.
And another for when Aerie's whining gets out of hand:
This one's just a matter of principle:
And from what I've seen on these forums, this is another popular attitude:
