It was my understanding that multiclass was generally prefered over dual class when possible. @terzaerian what is that from?
For not for caster/caster. A mage/cleric multiclass will continue to accrue spells for both classes. The fighter/thief is a little harder to justify admittedly, but if one is (as I decided to start tonight) doing a run with *just* those two it's going to be painful if not impossible to wait out the fighter levels for the thief classes to start, and having the thief be multiclass means he gets to put points into a wider variety of skills (and thus be far more useful than if he maxed out only a couple skills, and then DCed).
Is there a thread to discuss this? There should be.
In reference to the Edwin meme. Edwin makes stupid decisions because he has a low WIS Score. INT has nothing to do with inherent decision making. A character with a High INT but Low WIS has lots of book smarts, but not too much common sense. And that, my friend, is Edwin.
Wow, I just realized. My Wisdom score is not very high either. I didn't read the entire text before correcting him. I feel like the moron I am, despite my intellect

That is what Montresor_SP was getting at with the "difference between INT and WIS" comment.
