I'd say investigating the Iron Throne is even easier—it just requires for you to enter the building and contact Scar/Duke Eltan again, killing all the guards there and going to the top-floor is optional

IIRC DSotSC used to add an item to a squirrel in one of its areas as an easter egg (an ioun stone, I think). I'm not sure if the joke inspired DSotSC, or the mod inspired the joke.
