Ah Public Bug Reports is great you can always learn someting new(thanks Filip Flechtner )
Both in the original BG1 and the original BG2, the bonus/penalty to the store prices is determined by the charisma of the party leader, regardless of which character initiates the dialog. The Enhanced Editions work the same way,.......
It's worth noting that the party leader needs to be in the same area as the merchant. If the party leader is not in the same area as the merchant, the prices are determined by the charisma of the character highest in the party order who is in the area.
If you put the Girdle of Masculinity/Feminity on Shar-Teel she'll have some words to share with you. Im pretty sure its part of the BG1NPC mod and not vanilla but who isnt using it at this point?

the attack on the forgotten temple makes no sense as it implies acolytes and verbeegs couldnt handle the trolls from dragon's eye, but the thing is acolytes all have flaming sword memorized

Maybe they were INTERNET trolls trying to interfere with the election of the new high priest! Verbeegs would be particularly susceptible to fake news...

I don't think internet trolls are susceptible to fire - in fact they seem to thrive on flame wars!

I guess they tried to cast, but with all the poison getting lobbed around, they kept getting interrupted.
I'm quite surprised that these have not yet popped in here:
In Baldur's Gate Northeast, in the Counting House, you'll be assaulted by a man called Jacil and his dogs. Pre-EE his gear was pretty mundane, but in EE he has been given a Spear +2. However, the moment you talk to Mendas in Ulgoth's Beard, which is accessable long before Baldur's Gate becomes accessable, Jacil and his dogs are removed from the game, to make place for an entirely different encounter in that same building.
In Baldur's Gate Southwest, in a random house, you'll run into Wiven and her gang, who are looting the house. They have a few basic magical items and some scrolls and potions. However, the moment you talk to Sorrem as part of Rasaad's quest, Wiven and her gang are removed from the game, to make place for an entirely different encounter in that same building.
Completionists will want to visit Baldur's Gate and deal with both Jacil and Wiven before talking to Mendas or Sorrem.
I don't know if I'm impressed that you found out, or disappointed that Beamdog couldn't find two empty houses in Baldur's Gate or Beregost to stash those encounters in.
Edit: On further consideration I am both impressed with you and disappointed in Beamdog.
Edit 2: Maybe a mod component could move those two encounters next door? Perhaps @CamDawg /CDTweaks ?
With Classic Movies installed, a wild surge for the cow drop results in the great ol Cloakwood Wyvern movie playing right before it drops. Just too darn cool.
Alhoon the mindflayer under the Temple districts is actually undead for some reason
Yup. That type of flayer is basically an illithilich. They went the route of learning more magic. They shouldn't really fit in with regular flayers as they are seen as sort of an outcast and not accepted by the elderbrain.
"Del" is a female vampire early in BG2 but a male vampire is later encountered in chapter 6 with the exact same name
Obviously a trans character that wasn't staked properly the first time. He/she transformed after the first death. Don't let the alt-right folks find about that one...
Uh, why wouldn't we? Playing for the first time, at least, that dialog tree requires a fair amount of stumbling around before you can actually resolve it.

i just mash 2 2 2 lol
Oh yeah, about that encounter. In non-EE all 3 turn into greater dopples but it was nerfed in EE to 1 greater 2 standards.
BUT if you cause the death of fake gorion/tethyr without triggering the encounter (invisible, going from behind) they will all revert to the old 3 greaters

So the norm is to use fireballs before dialogue starts in order to gain the extra XP?
