Petition for a new forum badge (PROTECTION FROM BROCCOLI)

The achievement to gain this badge would be "successful use of spoiler tag", so it would be easy and early to get - like First Comment, Name Dropper, Photogenic... It would not be just to keep this very important protection from anyone, hence why I suggest such an easy achievement.

Sorry, have to remove the icons because apparently you can't post anything here without it being used against my will/without permission.

@Kamigoroshi: Had to make a new topic to get the messy html out of the poll option. Still no sprout option though. :)

Something tells me that this will be a "slight" manipulated poll...

But... but broccoli is harmless in comparison to the detestable Brussels sprout menance. :(

I will consult with the Grandmaester of Dark Arts, @Anduin, Lord of Castle Coffinnail. It is possible we can provide protection against other malicious vegetables.

I have to ask myself... can we afford to ignore the tomatoes? They're all mean killers, I say.

@Heindrich We're so concerned about the vegetable we're ignoring the killer fruits... That's what I worry about...

I'm trying hard not to worry about all the fruits around here....

I swear most of us have gone bananas already...

    But not me...

Well, it could be worse. At least there are no durians on this site... yet.

So my spell is working? :D

Unfortunatelly, I don't have any fruits or fruitcakes in my game to test it against. :(
  • KamigoroshiKamigoroshi Member Posts: 5,870
So... does it protect against physical attacks of fallen durians? Or is it against their penetrative smell, which won't allow saving throws of any kind? Or is it the cheese-like taste that so many find horrorfying?

I want the stone, mounted in an amulet... A single use scroll is too situational... I need to know that I'm safe from ambush(y-vegetables).

...could we have consumable fruitcake, based on Goodberries? There are not enough consumables in the game. Once we have fruitcakes, we can feed them to someone, and then see if the spell makes immune against them!

@Kamigoroshi: It does NOT protect against cheesecake, only fruit-based cakes. However, attacks by Black Forest Cakes will deal reduced damage (25 %) despite them being mainly chocolate-based, because the cherry percentage is high enough to count for the general fruit immunity.
Other than that, physical immunity to attacks by any certifiably stupid (living) creature is granted. Undead intelligence is measured differently, so it is too unreliable in their case and I can't advertise the spell as providing protection. Fallen creatures count as "stupid" though, regardless of their status on the life-death scale.
