Too mannish. Even xzara, who used to be a man (don't ask), was more womanly.

Coran stops looking for traps aroun the blue door and looks at Kivan

USED to be a man? What kind of nightmare is this place? Any idea of what is summoning us here?

OOC: No sense searching for traps on the door I've already opened and jumped through, by the by.
  • Awong124Awong124 Member Posts: 2,642
*you* were summoned. I was foolish enough to walk through the front door.

Touching the door makes it glow brighter blue for a moment. The door opens by means of pulling on a ring set in the middle of the door. The door opens easily when you pull it. Inside, however, is only dust.

Hmm something wrong here. Somebody had the trouble of making a glowing door to hide dust... There's something missing...
  • katastrophekatastrophe Member Posts: 404
"Dust...not unlike that which Kivan's head is full of."

Scowling, I stomp past Kivan (and on not a few of his toes) and try my luck with glowing (blue) door number 2.

"One more word elf and I open your throat. You have been warned."

Kivan you used to have better sense than entering ANY place through the front door... No side entrances avaiable?

Imoen is hanging back and watching. She's seen what happened to people who open doors in this place. Spears and green slime. Her bow is ready, in case. She's also ready to hide in the shadows if discretion appears to be the better part of valor.

Coran will examine the door, it's frame and the walls around it looking for moving parts and traps. He will never believe someone had the trouble of enchanting a door to hide dust

OOC: @mlnevese You'd be surprised. If I could get away without doing house keeping, I'd create a glowing blue door to hide the dust and such.

The dust room is 10' square. So is the second, you see a low stone table on which is a wooden sarcophagus. Around the room are looted chests, boxes and coffers.

Coran doesn't find anything. Except more dust.

Is the Sarcophagus closed? Can Shar-Teel see the contents of it from where she stands (the doorway)?

OOC: Watch it be dust. Ha!

A sarcophagus? Of course from all places in Faerun I just got trapped in a tomb that must be full of undead. At least all these pretty ladies make it not be a total loss of time.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
It's definitely closed. And no, she can't see what's inside.

Hold lady. Let me check if if it's safe.

Coran will slowly approach the sarcophagus checking for traps in the way, the table and the sarcophagus itself.

OOC Sleep is winning. Typo rating is on the rise :)

Shar-Teel falters, her rage gone for the moment. She approaches the sarcophagus cautiously, ready at a moment's notice to activate her boots of levitation. If she manages to reach it, she will attempt to open the sarcophagus either with the end of her spear or, failing that, with her hands.

OOC: At this point I'm just asking for it, sheesh.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
He doesn't find any traps. Neither does Aerie see any on the Sarcophagus.
  • mlnevesemlnevese Member, Moderator Posts: 10,214
It's quite suspicious my lady Shar-Teel.

Coran looks around looking for tracks in the dust.

*kivan snickers every time coran calls shar-teel "lady"*
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
No tracks in the dust room.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
Except the ones he and Shar-Teel made, that is.
  • mlnevesemlnevese Member, Moderator Posts: 10,214
Ooc Coran can't think of a better way to piss Shar-Teel :)

LOL! Okay, let's get into it... So, you guys now have two keys- one gold, one bronze, a scepter and are standing in front of these doors...

The doors are made of Mithril and are 14' wide and 28' tall. In the middle, where they meet, is a hemispherical concavity with a central hole.

I hope someone tries to steal those doors, then at least the venture will be profitable.

OOC: I'm about to make a funny, just waiting for something from Kivan. And to see if I live after opening this box o doom.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
@Evinfuilt A little hard to cart *those* off. 14 feet by 28 feet times 2...
  • jhart1018jhart1018 Member Posts: 909
Possibly, but can you imagine how long it'd take to whack the doors into small enough pieces to fit into the bag of holding?
