Or he stabs her... but not to death. Well, only a little death.

I thought we established that such a weapon was cursed, and if anything detracted from any actual damage it might do. Poor Kivan indeed. Phallus of ineptitude -3: Upon striking a target roll a d20 to see if you're laughed at or merely ridiculed until you die of shame.

@jhart1018 - I don't think any guy would be happy with her. Not even Sarevok. Until Garrick sings to her, of course

Maybe forcing Shar-Teel into the orange archway will finally turn her into a woman.

Ah, Shar-Teel---such a cool character. And forcing Kivan into the portal would likely cause it to explode. Let's do it!

@Katastrophe Hate to say it, but with that door closed (the one that required the swords to open), you are officially screwed. You can't go back from here.

OOC Congratulations on your new badge. Sorry I missed the session last night. Fell asleep just as you were getting started. Hopefully, I will manage to stay awake a little later tonight.

Mara conjures up a hot meal that is actually delicious, instead of the tasteless food that conjured food usually is, and hot tea before curling up on the stone floor in her dress and falling asleep.

Alora wakes up, glad that she missed all the sexy shenanigans involving Kivan and Shar-Teel. She has now changed her opinion of Mara and thinks she may not be a witch after all. She asks Mara if next time she makes food can there be ice cream and cake and strawberry milkshake?

OOC: @permidion_stark i still haven't had alora join my party yet, finishing up a tob playthough.

is she like a hippy? she seems a little....quick to trust lol
  • Permidion_StarkPermidion_Stark Member Posts: 4,861
    @Bjjorick

Definitely quick to trust - she only has 7 wisdom. Not sure she is really a hippie but she is all for peace, love and understanding. One of her lines is

    C'mon people now,
    Smile on your brother
    Ev'rybody get together
Try and love one another right now

Which @LadyRhian pointed out to me comes from a song by The Youngbloods, which is definitely hippyish in spirit:

@Permidion_Stark you must be young, i'm only in my 30s and that song was before my time, but i always heard it as people listened to it and on tv/movies. not an insult saying you're young, i miss my 20's before i messed up my knee. Good song, alot of the music from the 60's and 70's was.

@Delvarian Hehe, when you're not here, me and mara basically hide behind your awesome manliness.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of Korganning through the thread after all. My dad's in the hospital and work decided that the database needs to to be redesigned so I've had quite a few late nights as well as little time to check the thread at work (they expect me to, like, work nowadays). I haven't even been able to read the last 400 posts or so, meh.

Good luck all, I'll check in occasionally!
    Stay away from demon faces!

@Drugar - best wishes to you and a quick recovery for your father! Take care, friend. You know where to find us. Except me. I'm a ghost Nin-ja. Hai!

Thanks! It's nothing life threatening but it's really annoying. He hates being stuck in a hospital while there's things to do and people to see.
Also, my grandmother is feeding him chocolate bars with every visit to keep him happy, while he was on a diet. He's not suffering too much I think.
  • BjjorickBjjorick Member Posts: 1,208
@drugar lol, sounds like an awesome grandmother, you will be missed, and though we will send your char down the first trap ladden hallway to take the brunt of whatever awaits us, yours will be a most noble sacrafice.

Also, what the hell is up with you job actually expecting you to work. You should file for harassment. :)

@drugar @bjjorick I think he should contact a human rights association. I'm quite sure it´s prohibited by some international law.

@mlnevese i think it may be part of the anti slavery laws.....?
  • mlnevesemlnevese Member, Moderator Posts: 10,214
@Bjjorick Yes I think you´re right... I´m no specialist in international law and conventions, though.
  • BjjorickBjjorick Member Posts: 1,208
@mlnevese i'm not up to date on the constitution, but i seem to remember that congress shall pass no law allowing employers to demand work for their compensation or something like that. Most nations base off our constitution or ask the american gov't to come in and over throw them in the eyes of the people so that the people will have to accept the american way of life.

I mean, why else would america keep going out and going to war with these tiny nations and such? oh well, a story for another day :)

@Drugar Sorry to hear it. I know how you feel, though. I take care of my Dad on a daily basis. And it's frustrating as all get out. And having to work on top of it is... not fun. I have to work until 9 PM tonight, so I'll probably be back on at 10 or so. Sorry, haven't been Feeling well, and have been sleeping late. :P
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
@LadyRhian - Hope you feel better soon! Otherwise, the ghostie-ninjas will come and... Something, I'm sure. :D
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
LOL. When I get home, I'll mention the next two people on the list. By my memory, they are @Minevese and @Alejandro.

Alls well if Kivan ends poorly, as Shar-Teel might say. Or me...where does one begin and the other end!? I've lost my identity.....noo? Anywho, sorry to hear about both of the fathers and their respective illnesses.

I hope the thread goes crazy this weekend like it did last Sunday...Was it 33 pages in a day or something like that?
