    I think there may be something else in the bottom of the chest. But I think there is a trap as well. Could Ajantis or Keldorn cast an animate dead spell on the skeleton and get it to lift out the pillow.

    I would ask Tiax but I am not talking to him.

    If anyone can animate dead, I would think it would be Xzar. He IS a necromancer.

    Nothing happens to TIAX. He is unaffected by the ring. Imoen recognizes the ring as a Ring of Protection +1.

    @Permidion_Stark I was thinking that, too, but I was afraid to poke my head over the chest and look. I wonder if we can get close enough to see the bottom of the chest without being, you know, in dart stabbing range.

    I think Alora meant that Tiax is a girl in general, didn't have anything to do with the ring. As in Tiax is a sissy.

    It doesn't look as if we can. I'm going to try to persuade Xzar to cast an animate dead spell on a skeleton to lift out the cushion.

    The chest is now empty, apparently. There is nothing else to be seen within.

    There is no cushion in the chest. The cushion of silk was in the crystal box.

    I think the pillow in the box looks like just the thing for an adventurer to get a good night's sleep. I hope Tiax doesn't notice it first.
