    How about everyone readies missile weapons and I will stand behind the pew at the front and check for traps. Then I will open it.

    I say this mist is evil. Anything that changes a beings heart like this is evil. The change of heart must come from within to have any value. Nothing good will come out of this.

    Keldorn makes a gesture enconpassing the mist and his transformed companions.

    Tiaxina feels fantastic. She has never felt such love or compassion for her companions. It brings me great sorrow you think such a thing must be evil Keldorn. Perhaps only the good may pass through it unchanged. The evil come out good and thus can then walk througgh.

    He pulls his sword distractedly from its sheath.

    New plan. If the altar is really evil let's open the pew at the back near the passageway first.

    Minsc shakes his head and looks at Imoen as if seeing her for the first time. He takes a final glance before returning his eyes to her. He smiles.

    "I apologize, Minsc and Boo are ready for action. Let evil beware!"

    Okay. You flip open the first pew. There is nothing inside, but you hear the hiss of escaping gas. Jan and TIAXINA fail their saves. TIAXINA loses 8 points of strength. Jan loses 4. TIAXINA can no longer move (1 STR)

    Jan can only move very weakly (3 STR).

    OOC: Technically, I should be positioned well and far away from the pews because I'm using my bow. I should be out of range of any trap effects.
