    Good idea, Tiaxina. Want to help me look for traps? Imoen follows Tiaxina's advice and begins checking the floor and walls carefully for traps.

    Everyone takes their places and you swing the door open. Beyond is 20 more feet of corridor and another door.

    The floor directly behind the door is a pit trap. But you jam it shut so it can't open.

    Okay. How about Minsc holds this door open to make sure we don't get trapped. I'll go down looking for traps and then we'll listen at the next door. If I don't find a trap I will unlock it.

    Next door: Listening- Nothing. Traps- nothing. Locked, so you unlock it. Everyone gathers readying themselves while you open it. Once again, a 20' section of corridor with a door at the end.

    Same as before, but this time, instead of a 20' long corridor you see that runs west 30' before turning north.
