2) wouldn't be better for mankind to prevent such horrible jokes like in my previous post to be made ever again by simply adding a larger space between the numbers and the units ?
I mean, it's not something unprecedented that has never been done before, is it ?
3) isn't this
much better despite the lower resolution ?
4) do people in Beamdog even know what they are doing ?
Please don't respond to 4, that's a rhetorical question.
Though I agree with the point that your trying to make, @Erg . I’m not sure that it is helpful to state it in such derogatory tones. It may make people dismissive of what your trying to say. I’d hate for that to happen as I think you make some very good points.
I hope that you continue to post screenshots that help to explain how things could be done better, but please remain respectful. I know it can be difficult when one feels so strongly about a subject, but people are more likely to hear what your saying if you do.
I've already tried raising the same pointrespectfully in January 2013, but, as you can see, it didn't work.
Now I've reached the point where I really don't care anymore if they dismiss my arguments or not. If people dismiss a good argument just because I'm being derogatory, that's their loss.
I do see your point @Erg , but I do think that more people are listening to other opinions now. There have been many new developments for people to consider since then. Can it hurt to try again?
@Dee Some time ago Dev mentioned they will improve user interface, for example: better portrait selection screen. Is it still on track? Do They plan to make fixes for all reported bugs? Recently we have not seen updates on redmine.
I have BG:EE through both Beamdog and Steam, but I only have Beamdog copies of BG2:EE and IWD:EE. I recently acquired a laptop that's perfect for running Linux, and BG:EE works like a charm on it (thanks to Steam having a linux copy ready to go - no streaming shenanigans for me).
Where are the directions for installing the linux copies of BG2 and IWD? I saw the mac option and the iOS and android version indicators, but since it's a laptop I don't want to use the iPad version.

Email support@Beamdog.com and request a steam key for BG2EE and IWDEE.
I have a dual class related question. I recently dualed from Berserker to Cleric. I am now 9B/4C and noticed that during the last two level ups that I got 0 hit points? Is this normal?

Ah, found the answer:
After you dual class, you don't gain any HP until your new class is at a higher level than your old class.
According to this old thread if you dual an assassin to cleric at level 24 after getting use any item then you actually keep your non-blunt assassin weapon proficiencies. Can anyone confirm this is still the case with the current enhanced editions? This would seem the one and only way that a cleric could use non-blunt weapons and it would make for an amazing roleplay character for a Priest of Bhaal.
Imagine a huge, bulky, barbaric bard - a Skald - who's singing is more like inspirational shouting n' stuff. .
Now, let's pretend that my Bard has the highest AC, plenty of various weapons resistances and is the group's best TANK, as nowadays gamers use to call them. So, I have him standing still, in the bottleneck passage, with the mightiest of mighty shields in his grip, chanting his "Call to Arms" (like, literally: in-game bard singing takes place) AND, to make things harder - as usual in my case - without ANY active weapon. Shield only. * So + Now moving to the "Curious" : I discovered, that my bard is getting his a** kicked twice if not thrice as hard while he's singing + shielding, than when he's actually fighting back, with some sword + shield in hand. .
My question is: Are there any in-game (specifically in IWD2, as I'm playing it right now ) disadvantages for blocking blows while you're aggressively inactive?
* - Also, I remember there was a vanilla mod, which allowed to use any item for any class, clerics with great swords, fighters with robes and I'm wondering, if there is an EE's version of smth like that? So my Bard could use tower shields! ^^
I remember something in the original games stating that using missile weapons in melee give enemies +4 bonus to thaco. I don't think this was changed in the ee's.
@Rodrian There's a check that grants a +4 to attack rolls against characters not having a weapon if they're not a monk. I.e. it's the same bonus as for going into melee with a bow.
@JuliusBorisov, sorry that I was not able to Thank You earlier, I was at work and managed only to shot those *insightfuls* for ya!
Also, the last thing that I'm wondering about, is the Bard Song matter. . Is there a difference between only standing there singing and actually fighting back? (weapon active both times)
Is there a reason for the Small Teeth Passage and North Forest in the game? Cause I've never found any quest or dialogue that leads my party into those.

I'm afraid it's not so simple.

I'm installing some mods and need to know when to stop lol
I'm not sure, but no matter what, however I tried, it always has been just one. .[EDIT]: Oh, you meant "available", not "active". . NVM me then
Prieshood kits installed: Cyric, Shar, Tempus, Clangeddin and Baravar.
Vanilla kits: Talos, Helm, Lathander, Tyr.
Displayed: all but Baravar and Clangeddin.
They can still be EEkeepered.
Edit: Testing it now with my IWDEE kitpack it looks like I can get 10 to appear when it comes to monks.
