My apologies for not posting in the last couple of days. I was unwell. September is over, so I shall start posting the updates. As you didn’t get any pictures for two days, the first post is going to be rather large, but full of truly excellent art.
@LadyRhian as usual all gorgeous images - but one or two are guilty of the heinous sin of naked bewbage. I do love all the different types of armor - the artists haven't reproduced historial armor, but they have dreamed up their own. Neat!
I've posted some of these before, but I needed to rearrange the galleries on my blog, so here comes all of Jason Chan's women in non-sexist, believable armor
For some reason I find this gorgeous, the background, the pose, the armor, the face, the hair. All of it is amazing. I would so love if RPGs had armors like those.
@Elrandir I loved the artwork so much I bought the first book - these are all covers for the Widdershins series. If the books are half as good as the art, I'll get them all. btw it's intersting to picture you picturing a fantasy Black Widow *evil grin*
@Archaos This is one of my favourite elf images. The face is non-human, but it's very subtle. The lines of her armor are so graceful, and the curving windows behind her add to the sense of movement. Chan is one of my all time fave artists, and this is one of my fave pics.
@Elrandir At least the leather Chan's theif is wearing seems flexilbe and jointed, unlike the patent leather fetish suit poor Black Widow has to wear in the movies. How the hell do you get into an outfit like that, let alone breathe in it! I reckon their has to be a "stunt" version of her costume for the fight scenes.
Agreed. I like a woman's curves, but I like realism more. Except for hair. I love long, flowing, straight (or slightly wavy. Never curly. Not a fan) hair. So beautiful.
@Southpaw A muscular mature man is allowed the occasional squeal .... even a muscular mature man with stubble! Especially over Jason Chan art which is jawdroppingly good.
Damn you @LadyRhian I was going to spring that last one on you al tomorrow, so you could impressed at how speedily I find such great art .... but you beat me to it! Only kidding, as usual great art.
@Moomintroll and just whose watermark are you calling a tiny weeny? Remember, this is a PG13 forum!

I *squealed* as a teenage girl when I saw Jason Chan's art (my favourite).
(Instead of a sensible, silent, classy smile that a muscular, tall mature man with a stubble, that I actually am, should do)

Brilliant, hilarious and far beyond the PG-13 rating of this form.
(actually I can see a tiny weeny watermark in the corner)
Anyhow, back on topic…
