im actually pretty stoked about this enhanced edition with the addition of class kits and bg spells, it will be like have the best of both worlds in the icewind dale game, because heart of winter was really lacking when it came to level 9 spells, only 2? weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeak
Not really sure how to link photos, but there's this twitter pic from one of the devs linked on icewinddale.com. It lists a release date of September 15.
OMG Sept 15th. Cannot wait. Will cherish my party all the way through on Core difficulty first, then insane on HoF mode. Which was my favourite. Then solo.... on HoF. Wonder if it can be done? Anyone achieved that before?
How do I sign up with the other 2-3 PCs that I would/could play this on? Do I just fill out the form multiple times, or would that overwrite the previous entries?

You can submit the form multiple times if you have several machines, just know that you'll only be getting one beta provision even if you have twelve laptops.
Hey, sorry if this question has been answered, but is there any word on how thieving abilities will be distributed?
Will stealth be one category like in regular Icewind Dale? Will there be a "Detect Illusion" ability (wouldn't seem too useful in this game)? I'm sure there will be traps with the introduction of the Bounty Hunter kit, but will they be the same as in BG?
Sorry, it got lost in the shuffle of questions. Thieving skills will work more or less the same as they do in BG(II):EE, so that means Hide in Shadows and Move Silently, as well as the Detect Illusion and Set Trap skill.
Basically, anything that has to do with the engine's basic mechanics you can expect to work more or less the same as in BG:EE (emphasis on "more or less"; there may be some tweaks and improvements here and there).
I wonder if I'm gonna bother with Detect Illusion? Anyone have any ideas where it could be useful?
The traps would for sure be awesome, and I can think of a few areas where they would be not only helpful, but interesting from a roleplaying perspective (like the giants)
Comments
I couldn't find it anywhere.
Will the game include Heart of Winter?
What about this Trials of the Luremaster I heard of?
"More to Experience: Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition includes both the Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster expansion packs."

@Dee can you shed some light on the thief points question?
That's awesome, always preferred iwd to bg and now the enhanced edition coming up great
How come I didn't receive an e-mail promotion about it!!!
On a serious note maybe they can't spill the beans about that and thats why they don't answer you.
