What does your name mean?

So it's an online forum. We often see some strange and weird IDs. Some are ones that we bring along from forum to forum. Others are simply random letters and numbers that happen when we sign up for our accounts. Within the BG community, there are a whole lot of characters and I was just curious what your names meant and why you choose it.
The way this works socially is, describe your name and meaning and then tag another community member and ask what their name means.
So here goes. The Spyder is a name that I usually use in different forums. The original genesis of it was that, growing up I was a big Spiderman Fan. Spiderman is often idolized and imortalized in forum IDs so I had to come up with something original. Well, I was also (still am) a Doctor Who fan and remember one particular like "I am THE Doctor. The definite article, you might say." And so 'The Spyder' was born.
So I am going to jump start this with several members, just to get things started
@GKL206
@Klorox
@King_Nothing
@atcDave
@fraggel76
@Artemius_I
@Anduin
@AlexDeLarge
Some of these I already know, but not everyone here will. So chime in.

Funny thing is, I don't care for the tag. But it goes back many years now to when I was making a user name for a different forum. I guess I'm not imaginative like The Spyder (!), because I kept playing with permutations of my first and last name. Well, my last name is nearly as common as my first, so after about six attempts were rejected as already in use, I just tacked my career in front of my name and it took.
Now many years later, its simply become my on-line identity on a number of sites and two blogs I write, so it looks like I'm stuck with it!
Second funny thing, I discovered a while ago there's another atcDave on the web, who may be in the same field. I've encountered his name because of his involvement in RC modeling; while I write about Scale Modeling. Go figure.
Boring! I wish I would have been more imaginative.
This was before kits.
c=my wife
will=start of our last name
See what I did there? Pretty clever, eh? Ok, it is lame, but I am old, so give me a break!
By the way, if you see that handle on any geek forum that you can dream of, it is probably me:)
It all started when one of my friend suggested the nickname "tablecloth" for me (PL: "obrus"). I was utterly confused, and I asked why. My firend responded with "Oh, Bruce!". In Polish, it would be written "O! Bruce!" and it would sound exactly like "obrus" ("tablecloth") with space bar between "O" and "Brus". Basically, it's just a pun that is poking fun at me being Bruce Lee fan.
So, we stopped at "O! Bruce!". I just typed the phrase in Google search and the first result made me come up with the username "O'Bruce". Unfortunately, due to limitation the username could be changed only to O_Bruce.
I hope you understand anything from my explanation ^^'.
When I lost my AOL because of usage over charges (this was back when it was a "by the hour" service, I also lost that account. When in Joined in 1995 again, I took "LadyRhian", and so I have been known to this day.
@Elminster, go.
OK @BelgarathMTH , what is your story?
el - Short for El Macho
and
minster - as in a large church.
Thus I am a preacher of the church of El Macho, though I dare not capitalize my name out of respect for his greatness.
Now, cultures that have a thing for Mummifying their dead are found next to mighty rivers... And many a noble son is named after the life giving waters that flow through their realms...
Now Nile, or to give it's modern equivalent, Niel, just wasn't kickass enough.
Plus... Although a great game, a real world river was not gonna cut it.
So a fantasy river...
No greater fantasy river exists than the river Anduin.

Hence my name... But I can always wrap a new story to an old name anytime I like.
I am the master of my own fantasy...
My screen name is from this book. I always liked the character:
annnnd I taaaag @Dee
My character names vary but Lucillia is my current name for my Elvish Female magic warrior.
Dionysos is my real name , which is the god of wine and I do love my wine/port
I tag @meagloth
Still, I can explain what David(e) means, it might be useful to my namesakes on the forum: beloved, dear. :-)
And now, I can tag a few people I always wondered about: @Aedan @Pibaro @SpaceInvader @Sharsek @Jalily
here, ill copy it from my own thread:
Have you ever played Dragon Age: Origins? "Aedan" is the default name that you find starting your game with a male character with noble origins. "Aedan Cousland". I really like that name.
@Ivanhoe
Tell us why you chose this nickname
@Aedan Ivahnoe was the knight of a tv series when I was a child, if I'm not wrong :P

@Davide I already told the origin of Pibaro in the other thread, but here it is:
A friend of mine at school used to shout at me during break-time calling me in funny ways changing my actual nickname Pippo.
Back in that days there was a house-music song that used to say something like "Pibaroooo" (I have no idea what that song says exactly, or wich song was, even if I tried to find out), and he started calling (well shouting-singing) me that way. Many friends followed, and it became my nickname.
For what I know it doesn't mean anything, but it's easy to remember, and when I started using internet in 1996 it became my username everywhere on the internet. Luckily it's always available
Of fact, Ivanhoe has been a long time the name of my PC in an eternal campaign of D&D RPG.
