Does the quest end okay? You did put his spirit to rest after all. All dead spirits go to heaven....

@Iroumen Nope, I went to get the bear hoping he'd come back the next night, but he was no wellyn to be found.

What if you talk to the parents during day time

Yeah, that happens. I would have reloaded. That's my favorite quest.

Nah, shit happens. I don't reload for screwing up minor quests like this.

@Tresset and his suggestion of using the Console is *pure evil*. :-)

It's a nice touch that this can happen. Very good!

There should have been a premature evil end to this quest.

During my first evil playthrough, Valen was part of my group, and being a vampire, all clerics & paladins are scripted to attack her on sight.

Imagine my surprise when I returned to the paladin in the graveyard district to tell him of the orphaned girl, and he went hostile and summoned a deva :D Valen has a way of keeping you on the evil path, when you might otherwise stray to the light side.

@Nonnahswriter It really wasn't intentional. I'm playing a goody-two-shoes party led by a paladin for heavens sake!

It's not bad as it seems at least.

Wellyn's parents now can go home knowing their little boy can finally sleep peacefully.

An undead spirit of vengeance that is worth 7xp? Boy he is weak. I bet he is not even immune to normal weapons.

I think one question still remains to be asked...did he drop any good loot?

Heh, he should drop the ghost of a teddy bear.
    In the next patch, right?

Nah he isn't immune to normal weapons. Though he is immune to magic damage (so like Horrid Wilting or Magic Missiles).

    How does that work?

Yeah you can kill it with a puny dagger but not with a super powerful 8th lvl necromancy spell. Hmm, okay.
